        Elias snaps slump, Rolston speaks.
        >>
Patrik Elias snapped a 9 game goalless drought yesterday versus Atlanta, Patrik was named 1st star after putting up a goal and assisting on 2 other. “It feels great to finally get some puck luck,” Said Elias. In other news, Brian Rolston has been scratched and Tuomas Pihlman has been called up to replace him, Rolston has an abysmal 1 assist in 10 games as well as only being a +1 and giving the puck away 16 times. “I haven’t been producing but that doesn’t mean I should be scratched, I’m a veteran,” Rolston told the media. To end on an upside, Bobby Holik has been brilliant in the faceoff circle winning 40 of the 42 faceoffs he has taken for 95.2% FO%.

Re: For the 4th, The New Jersey Devils and the OS'ers.

Devils homecoming set team short staffed versus Buffalo,

The New Jersey Devils made a pair of blockbuster moves to bring back old members but left the slots to be filled by scratches Mike Mottau and Chris Conner. The trades sent RW Brian Rolston D Vitaly Vishnevski and G Kevin Weekes to Anaheim and sent LW Brendan Shanahan to Toronto. In return the devils received D Scott Niedermayer and RW Petteri Nokelainen from Anaheim and C Sergei Brylin and G Justin Pogge from Toronto. Niedermayer and Brylin are set to play versus Tampa Bay.

Devils trade, RW Brian Rolston, D Vitaly Vishnevski and G Kevin Weekes to Anaheim for D Scott Niedermayer and RW Petteri Nokelainen.

Devils Trade LW Brendan Shanahan to Toronto for C Sergei Brylin and G Justin Pogge.

I wouldn't say that now that Sabreskings is back, he's a feisty one.

It would have been 1 or 2 -0 if it weren't for Telqvist being in net. he was so bad. Miller and Brodeur made amazing saves, Brodeur took a sprawl of his skate and a stacked pads, and Miller made this blocker dive at the puck and nailed it with his blocker into the post.

Hahaha, why in the world would the put Telqvist in net over Miller?

From what I understood, they started Telqvist instead of Miller, then Miller was of course the back-up goalie and I was just saying why would anyone start Miller over Telqvist(you all just shut up because I know someone out there will make reason :P) but I could be wrong.

People start back ups all the time and if they do bad a starter will come in. I don't understand what is so "rare" about that...
