NYwRiter and Kzoz Get The "A"

The Starking's Army management group was proud to announce that Andrew Dellapina and Patrick Cosgrove were named the "Alternates" for the team.

"Andrew is a dedicated member who's application really impressed me. He claims he has good stuff planed and I am really looking forward to seeing what he will do with my team. On the other hand, Patrick brings a lot of maturity and seems to be a great leader. I think my staff and I made a good decision here." Said GM's Peter Carey and Ernie Volpe.

"I am very pleased with the leadership qualities these two players have shown for the amount of time i've known them. They are great people as well as great leaders, and know the game of hockey very thoroughly. They will do a great job as my assistants, and I have no doubt they will earn the respect of the rest of the team soon enough. I am incredibly eager to begin the season." Said Team Captain, Mitchell Shinderman.

Carey would like to remind all leaders that in order to keep their title, they must prove that they deserve it. There is a roster of people who would love to have that letter on their jersey.

Bolts: Well, that's me. I'm GM because I started all of this. :P

FlyersFan: I picked you to work with me as GM because your easy to get along with, a pretty good guy and should do well in this position. It was also too fun crushing you, 2-1, in NHL 09.

Shinder: Your older and posses the best qualities of what I wan't my captain to be like. You have a great personality and you are very respected here at OS. I think you will make a great captain.

NYwRiter: Your application was really great, your a pretty cool guy and will most likely be quite active. I think your going to make a great "Assistant".

Kzoz: Like Shinder, your an older guy on here. Your pretty mature and I think your going to be more of the backbone of the team. I'm sure you will be the one to shut me and GJ up when we argue over who's a better EASHL player.I'm sure you will be a very good asistant. =P

Alex96: I'm sure your going to be a great player, and your a cool kid but I really can't see you handling a leadership role. I really am looking forward to working with you though!

Canucksfan: We were really considering you for wearing an "A" but we decided that, due to your timezone, you would not be on at the same time as most of us.Therfore, making it very hard for you to play with us, or even be an Assistant. I do think you posses good leadership qualitities and are quite respected on OS.

gibbey9: You would have been considered if you had some more votes. Your a really cool guy and I'm sureonce your on OS for a few more months, you will be considered. I hope you can be active and do a lot with our team!

Nickflyers: If you had not asked me not to give you the "A", you probably would have been in a close race and could be a team leader right now. Yet, I completly understand where you are coming from, your like in the Navy! I wish you luck and hope you can squeze in a few games with us. =]

GoldenJet: I was thinking at one point of making you wear an "A" but I think your amount of votes slowed you down and the fact that we fight a lot. I know that sounds pretty crappy but it's true. I could not imagine fighting nonstop one of my alternates. If we can fully patch things up and you be active a lot, you will be considedered if one of our current guys screw up.

Kyle: You seem like a cool kid but you did not recieve enough votes. And, compared to others, your not too active. I really hope you can get on and make a difference for our team!

Basher: You were considered too. It really came down to the wire with you, kozzy, and canucksfan. But, like you said, you take breaks from OS and don't show to be that active at all times. I would like our leaders to be on a lot. Proove me wrong and you may get your chance!

don't we feel like idiots!

I just finished speaking with Redshirt and he said that you are unable to set captains in NHL10.

Anybody have another solution? Maybe "Team Leaders"?

Well, depending on whether we're doing reports to the rest of OS, we'll use Shinder, Cozzy and Della as our Captains. But they'll still be our captains, just won't have them on their jerseys.
