    Re: New NHL

Axeshun - I think you're confused everyone's base is at 78. In order to raise any attribute you have to lower another one.

EG - I'm a defenseman. So my Faceoff attribute starts at 78. I lower it to 60 so now I have +18 points to raise any other attributes.

I put +10 into Checking so it goes from 78 to 88. I put the other 8 into Toughness. So Toughness goes from 78 to 86.

That is how he said it's fair to level out your Player.

That's not how it was explained so I apologize.

Having said that, with the way you mentioned I think it's just as bad.

How should a defenseman be able to get free points from faceoffs when he would never take a faceoff to begin with?

          That's not fair at all.

                    Phoenix Coyotes sold

The new home of a NHL-team, Las Vegas in it's glory

The NHL has a new team. It is called the Las Vegas Sheriffs. Sheriffs will come to Las Vegas from Phoenix after the NHL confirmed the deal that was made a couple of days ago, in that deal Phoenix Coyotes was sold to a group of Finnish bussinesman. The deal was fine to Gary Bettman because the club still stays in the desert.
''It is fun to see how does the team do in Las Vegas,'' Bettman said. The new owners said that they already have contracts for the players that will go to Las Vegas, none of them are old Coyotrs players, they are mainly 18-year-old players that have played in the same for their hole life. There is also couple of players from Finland's and Sweden's elite leagues. They have said that the oldest player is Tomi Kallio who comes to the team from Frolunda Indians of Sweden's elite league Elitserien. They also have a new GM, he is Jari Kurri. Kurri left his job as Finland's national teams GM and joins the Sheriffs.

The head coach will be Juhani Tamminen. Tamminen who is the ex-captain of Finland has also played in SM-Liiga for many clubs and also in WHA and in CHL. Tamminen has coached the Swiss A-and B-national team and also French national team. He has also coached teams in SM-Liiga, he was the head coach when TuTo rose to SM-Liiga, that time Tuto stayed in the league for two seasons and before that Tamminen had left and was coaching France. And after coaching France, Tamminen joined Oulun Karpat who was at that time in the second highest level in Finland. In 1999-2000 season Tamminen coached Karpat to SM-Liiga and now Karpat has ruled the SM-Liiga for many years. Tamminen whose nickname's are Tami and Sun King. The nickname Sun King he got when he was coaching France. Tamminen is well known of his aggresive coaching style. Last season he got many coaching bans after criticizing the referees.
