A win and a loss, not bad. Love the layout by the way. I guess I was wrong, the FO not that bad. Whats your thoughts?

Against Habs was bad, but mostly because they have good centers. At Washington wasn't so bad. Primeau and Wallin are good at FO. But Grabovski is terrible. In two games he won 1 FO...

Ouch. But then again I knew that about him. When I have played as the Leafs I have always put him on the wing cause he sucks so bad.

Good idea. Next game I'll put Hanson centering the second line.

I hope my rambling works. Are you going to let Giguere have a stab at the net after the Monsters 1-1, 6 GAs?

Another thing I was thinking is maybe switch up Primeau and Wallin - Sjorstrom and Caputi : Primeau is more of a grinder who would play well with Orr and Sjorstrom on the 4th line, while Wallin's better passing skill would mesh well with Mitchell. Also if I remember, and I might be wrong here and to be honest maybe with most things, but itsn't Mitchell rated reasonable well at the FO?

Yes you're right. Mitchell is not bad in FO. I will make some changes based on your advice. Maybe even put Mitchell centering second line. Thanks for the tips.

This next two games will be Giguere. Gustavsson did well against habs, he made some impressive saves, but he as 6 GA in 2 games. Against Caps the defence collapsed in the third. Two goals on breakaway and one after a neutral zone turnover. He can't have all the blame. Let's see how Giguere plays.

What are the odds? I changed Sjostrom to fourth line, he scored. I changed Mitchell to second line, he scored. I put Giguere to play, he shutout. Sometimes you just need a little luck. Thanks to bthomp for the precious tips.

                              Leafs Effort Not Enough

The Toronto Maple Leafs failed to win two straight games. Hosting the current Stanley Cup Champions, the Leafs knew that they had to stop Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin.

Well, they've done that, but still failed to win. Sid "The Kid" and Geno had no chance to shot at goal. Despite erase the two main threats of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Jordan Staal and Ponikarovski lead the Pens to victory.

Fredrik Sjoström scored his second goal in two games, since he was changed to fourth line. Giguere had a bad game with only 71 SV%, and Gustavsson is expected to start next game.

                                Ok...

Love the defensive pairings for sure!!! Nice work on those takeshi! I really like Stalberg with Grabovski on the second line...if only Kadri was ready to center that line. That would be quite the line of young talent. Could you post the current forward lines. Trying to keep up with all the changes. Thanks and great job!

P.S. Laich scored a hat trick?!?!? I can't get that guy to score to save my life in my franchise. Wish I knew how the computer does it with him. I've noticed he's a 20+ goal scorer in a couple other franchises too. Grrr...
