Goalie BAP
Hey there all, I just joined this site because I think its awesome to read about others doing BAPM and how they do. I have a goalie BAP at my school and I want to start a thread but I'm almost done the first season and I don't know how to make it all professional looking like you guys and since I don't have a tv in my room I play the games in our game room so I'm afraid I'll forget all of the stats and who scored when and stuff. What do you suggest? ThanksTags: None -

Columbus Makes Big Pick In 2010/2011 Draft
"For the fist pick of the 2010/2011 draft, the Columbus Blue Jackets select Andy Pearson from Washington College in Chestertown Maryland." That is what the GM for the Columbus Blue Jackets announced during the first round of the draft. Andy had been very successful at the D3 school very well known for their hockey team. Pearson helped lead his team to four straight Centennial Conference Championships, beating Swarthmore twice and Salisbury twice in the Conference Finals. Some fans were very surprised when this choice was made, but the GM is very confident in his decision. "I know that he is not very well known YET, but us as a team could really use some new fresh talent in the goalie spot and Andy will fit in well there. I am excited to see what this young kid can do and cannot wait to see how he fairs on NHL ice." That is what the GM said. When we talked to the head coach, he confirmed and said almost the same thing. "I completely agree with what was said and love this draft choice. After seeing Pearson put up a 7-0 shutout in the scouting game, I think that our choice was very obvious and that we needed him. He will work a lot with our goalie coach, Dave Rook, and will most likely share time with Steve Mason. I cannot wait to see what this young talent can offer us." That was from head coach Scott Arniel. When we talked to Pearson himself, here's what he had to say. "I am very thrilled to be able to live my dream of playing in the NHL. I did not think it would come true because I played at a D3 school but I will not take anything for granted. I will work very hard and will give my all to this team." Pearson's first game is coming up soon and we will keep you posted on how well the young rookie does.
Let me know what you think and I will have posts up later ThanksComment

Like the little story update, and nice to see you get drafted by Columbus (but it did make me lol a bit, considering they have Mason).Comment
