I like the idea of moving Phoenix as they have potential to move next season. Winnepeg Winterhawks would be cool team with Powder Blue Jerseys but it's your call.

The rest can be dump stats if you need be.

I am going to suggest replacing the Coyotes, but keeping the team somewhere in the west so the divisions still make sense.

This may be stupid lol, but how about taking out Atlanta, or Florida and moving Detroit into the east where they should be, thus leaving us a spot open in the west.

But of course I am still leaning towards trashing Phoenix.

Ok. So let's say we are making a team in Iowa, right now the city doesn't matter. We want to be in the western conference, specifically in the central division.

Detroit is in the central division, which is a western conference division, they should geographically be in the east, so we replace Detroit in the central with our team. Then Detroit takes the place of the Islanders in the Atlantic, booting the Isles out of the league.
