SENS: New NHL Project

Hey Sports Fans,

I am going to be working on another project for NHL 11 that is a spin off of Dominick's Dynasty Idea.

I will be taking all the participants and putting them in the farm system for 1 team and will be Simming Seasons to see where their careers take them.

This franchise dynasty will focus less on the GM dealings and focus more on the players growth.

This is a chance for anyone already participating to change their position, preferred Jersey Number, or playing style; it is also a chance for new people to sign up.

I will leave this open till later tonight then boot this sucker up. Reports will be monthly but since I am Simming any games involving our players I will post if someone has a nice night.

So what I've done when I created everyone is to randomize the overall to simulate different development levels. I started with a base of 62 and rolled 3 6-sided dice to achieve an overall from 65 to 80. I then determined potential based on overall. 65-70 were higher potential then 75-80. Everyone was either set at 18 or 19 years old so that shouldn't be a factor.

Oh man, I simmed to the Off-season but something broke. I think Salary Cap messed up or something, over 40 star dumped to free agency due to some bug. I think this kills this dynasty which is unfortunate because some of the guy progressed nicely in the offseason.
