Haven't seen a Jets one so far, so thought I'd do one. Trying to win the cup!


In this dynasty, I'll be doing updates every 20 games, and playing only a few a season. Those will be against the Sens, Leafs or Teams that I have traded players to. I will also be focusing a lot on the drafts.

Injuries:

M. Stuart got hit, and is due back in the new year.
B. Little took a puck to the leg last night, and is currently flying back to Winnipeg to be evaluated.
M. Halischuk broke his foot, and is due back in a months time.

Winnipeg acquires Neil from Ottawa
After getting bruised and beaten, the Jets owner figured they should invest in a tough player. After hours of negotiating, Ottawa has agreed to a deal.

The Jets will acquire Chris Neil, the 34 year old right wing and known enforcer (7G, 5A, 71 PIMS) and prospect center J-G Pageau (4G, 9A, 7PIMS) in exchange for JC Lipon, the 20 year old prospect and veteran RW Chris Thornburn (2G, 5A, 31 PIMS).

Lipon has yet to play in the NHL, and is a healthy scratch for the Ice Caps.

Neil is expected to play on the 4th line with Wright and Tangradi, while Pageau will join his new team mates on the Ice Caps. He will retain his #25 due to vereranship, and Redmon will wear #28

Pageau will wear #10, due to Bogosian having #44 in the big leagues.

They are due to play each other January 2nd in Ottawa.


This was mostly just to gain toughness on our lines, plus they weren't producing alot. Pageau will grow.
