Devils give one away in Nashville, leave disappointed.
Rinne plays great to help get the 2-1 win

The Devils scored late in the first and held that lead until the third when they led the Predators score a pair and take the win away.

Devils make a move, bring in Iginla

Coming out of the Olympic break rumors were heavy all over the league of possible moves, and it was the New Jersey Devils that cast the first stone. New Jersey needing a bit of help offensively addressed that need by shipping prospect Ryan Kujawinski and their 2014 2nd round pick to the Boston Bruins in exchange for veteran forward Jarome Iginla.

Analysts are calling this trade an early win for the Devils as none of them expect prospect Kujawinski to be NHL ready for awhile, and a 2nd round pick in this upcoming draft doesn't guarantee a good future player. So for a team that is looking to win now, bringing in a veteran like Jarome will only help and possibly give them the extra power upfront that they need to leapfrog some of the teams in their division.
