    NHL15:What Team Do I Choose?

Wow. It's been awhile since I've been on the forums. I've just moved out of high school and am attending a university away from home, this I will be away from my newly purchased PS4 for the majority of this school year. With that being said, I am hoping to start a dynasty that I will play when I have weekends off and on holidays. I am hoping many of you will keep up with my dynasty once it's started, and help me choose what team to take the reins of. But enough about me, let's see the team choices...

Anaheim Ducks- A team that has all the right pieces moving forward. With the acquisition of Ryan Kesler, and another year of solid drafting at the 2014 Entry Draft, the Ducks are poised to stay competitive in the West for a long time. Anaheim also has a good young goaltender in John Gibson and hope that he can bring his winning track record to the National Hockey League.

Buffalo Sabres- A team that is slowly heading in the right direction. With the acquisition of experienced blue liner Josh Gorges and dynamic centre Sam Reinhart via the Entry Draft, the Sabres have a good mixture of veterans and young talent. Look for the Sabres to slowly rebuild, relying on their veteran players to accelerate the growth of their budding young stars.

Colorado Avalanche- The Colorado Avalanche established themselves as a serious threat within the National Hockey League after finishing second overall in the Western Conference. The Avalanche selected a long term prospect in Connor Bleackley, and made a surprising move in trading P.A. Parenteau to the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for aging veteran Daniel Briere. The Avalanche also inked Jarome Iginla to a three year deal, bolstering their already deadly offense.

Florida Panthers- The Florida Panthers, making a big splash in free agency this past year, have a chance at recreating the magic that happened during the 1996 Stanley Cup run. The Panthers were then led by goaltending great John Vanbiesbrouck and a lunch-box gang consisting of hard-working role players. Entering the 2015 season, the Panthers have a rag-tag team consisting mainly if free agents and a good mix of veteran and young players, as well as a goaltender who can steal them games in Roberto Luongo. The selection of Aaron Ekblad didn't hurt either, making the Panthers start to seem like a legitimate threat.

New Jersey Devils- A team that has nothing going for them. They are stuck somewhere between being mildly competitive and completely rebuilding. This team needs a jump start to be able to start competing, and the only thing going for New Jersey is that they have a goaltender who should be able to keep games competitive in Cory Schneider.

Philadelphia Flyers- A team that has had defensive issues ever since Chris Pronger has stopped playing. Their playoff berth and short, but exciting, run in the 2013-2014 Playoffs showed fans renewed hope that they haven't had since the 2010 Stanley Cup Finals. The acquisition of Steve Mason had helped, and drafting mammoth defensemen Travis Sanheim in the 2014 Entry Draft is a good step in the right direction.

San Jose Sharks- A team that has decided to start rebuilding, ever since their disappointment in the 2013-2014 Playoffs. With Joe Thornton stripped of his Captaincy recently, trade rumours are already starting to swirl around veterans such as Thornton, Joe Pavelski, and even goaltender Antti Niemi. This is a team that needs a good rebuild, and to start as soon as possible.

Toronto Maple Leafs- A team that has financial success no matter what happens on the ice, the Leafs are undoubtedly looking to make their on-ice product. The 2014 Entry Draft added immeasurable talent to the Leafs roster with highly skilled forward William Nylander, however, in 20/20 hindsight the signing of hometown native David Clarkson might be a terrible move.

Vancouver Canucks- A team very similar to the San Jose Sharks. After missing the Playoffs in the 2013-2014 and attaining the Sixth Overall pick in the 2014 Entry Draft, the Canucks are looking forward to a new time: a rebuild. Selecting Jake Virtanen Sixth Overall and signing American goaltender Ryan Miller to a deal this past offseason, the Canucks look ready to either make one last push for the playoffs or to start a long and slow rebuild revolving around the departures of many big names including the Sedin twins.

Washington Capitals- The Capitals have been floundering the past couple of seasons, as they haven't seen a good Playoff run since the emergence of Brayden Holtby. Alexander Ovechkin has rebounded since being moved to the right wing, and is looking to improve on his 2013-2014 season even after winning the Rocket Richard Trophy. This team only needs a few adjustments to be able to become a winning formula.

Yeah, delete the duplicate thread. I'd say Ducks or Caps.

Really, any mod will do it. I think Qb is on the dynasty-ha forums a lot, as is CMHooe, but any mod will do it (kehlis, Marino, etc)
