*for those wondering, I went a bit over and played a couple of games in a row - and lack the desire of reporting them. So, we are now at the offseason.

Ok, give us the results at least. :P
We wanna know if Matteo scored as well.
Oh, and for the benefit of my chart... could you give me the number of played matches, goals and assists? I'd like to keep it updated. Or you take the chart and update it yourself, by all means.

        Woohoo! Transfer time!

Wolves to renew Matteo's contract? Cottagers await.

Lam Matteo is mainly known for the prolific goal scorer at Fulham - but this past season his efforts were well noticed after rehabilitating into a Premier league player again.

Matteo finished with 9 goals for Wolves, and two assists. At the moment there are discussions going on between Matteo's agent and Wolverhampton football club.

There has been no official announcement, but rumor has it that Matteo could lean back to Craven Cottage to play for Fulham yet again. The 29-year old would be reunited with manager Roy Hodgson, who stood faithful in believing that the despite the horrific car crash, "Matteo will play again".

Does Matteo owe Hodgson another go? Or is he truly the future golden star that Wolves need to make it into the upper tier of Premier league football next season?

Don´t rush into new contracts. You could be suprised with an offer from an awesome club!

My god, that´s about time. In 2019 he´s 78! Did he die?...

Btw, I think you´re 27, going on 28 next season, not 29. I´m just saying so we can enjoy an extra year of Matteo´s career.

Oh i'll be waiting that's for sure. Still working on a storyline for the offseason. I think Matteo should be 29 by now - he played in the Championship at 27, then one stint with Newcastle, then joining Wolves in 2018.

Eitherway, I'll keep it at 27, there is plenty of a storyline to work with.

A short announcement, relegation/promotion is scrapped - simply because the seasons will continue on, but the problem with that, Matteo would not be progressing - and especially if there were to be a world cup or anything else.

                    Offers pouring in
Week 3 brings Spanish side Malaga CF to mix
Week 1 saw Fulham and Wolves pushing for Matteo's services, week 2&3 now shows La Liga participants, Malaga CF - and rumor has it Burnley has also offered to grab Matteo.

Spanish football is a very beautiful view, however my thinking is Matteo might stay with Wolves. While the idea of moving every year is nice - I believe Matteo is now a veteran and should therefore stay committed to a team.

Wolves manager, Owen Coyle, has yet to announce any progress of a deal. If anything, Matteo could receive less due to the club's poor finish last season, despite a courageous middle part of the season.

                        Nearing a decision
Malaga revoke offer, Wolves, West Ham and Burnley remain

Week 7 out of 8, and Matteo has still not accepted a contract renewal from Wolves or showed interest in a move to Burnley.

There was some outside hope that Matteo would take the deal with Malaga, considering the club finished in the Top 10 (8) in La Liga, however Matteo's agents stated that Matteo would like to remain in the Premier League:

"Lam Matteo is honored to have been approached by Malaga, however he wishes to finish up his career in the Premier League."

At this very moment, it seems Matteo will stay at Wolves. There would be no remorse if he did - I honestly believe it would be a great place for him to remain. I believe the only issue Matteo has with staying at Wolves is the fact that he was placed as a midfielder the majority of the matches with the club.

As for Burnley and West Ham, both sides could not be more different. West Ham possess an incredible coach in Giofranco Zola, while Burnley have not had a consistent manager for 2 consecutive seasons, this year they are looking to appoint Manchester United legend, Ryan Giggs, to clean up Phil Brown's mess.

Eitherway, both clubs are interested in Matteo - and both have vacancies for a striker spot. West Ham finished in 9th place, while Burnley in last. The question would be if Matteo would be utilized correctly by West Ham, and whether or not he would be playing top flight football with Burnley.

A decision has to be made, and we expect it by next week.

West Ham or Wolves... Either of the two...
You don't wanna look like a nomad, changing clubs agáin, but at least you'll be in striker position with West Ham, which is also a wee bigger club... You'll get more chances to score and get back to your old level... Hmmm... can't wait...

(btw, I really think Matteo is now 27, coming season 28... He was 23 at the time of his accident. That was 2014/2015. Which was also right, cause he started at 17 in 2008/2009. You're now going on 2019/2020, right?
                          Maybe I'm missing something? Sorry)

Wolves lock in Matteo for 2019

A deal has finally been reached between Lam Matteo's agents and Wolverhampton's management, resulting in the striker/midfielder's stay to be extended till the end of the season.

"Signing Lam was one of our highest priorities," states manager Owen Coyle, "I am quite pleased we are able retain his services for another season."

Along with the contract renewal, Lam Matteo has changed his kit number from #22 to #13, stating "It needed to be done."

Wolves schedule has been set for the 2019 season, they start the campaign off hosting Newcastle United at Molineaux Stadium.

Thanks, I chose Wolves - also because I had the auto save feature on, so accidentally went forward and couldn't turn back, but I'm fairly sure I would have stuck.

I think the age confusion is my fault, I believe when he was with Willem I portrayed him as aged 23 - from there the timeline gets blurry because I represented him being younger at one point I'm sure. However, I'm sticking to the storyline that he is 29 from here on out.

Ratings wise, he could be on the decline - but at the moment it's all about playing time and taking advantage.

Have you guys noticed that I haven't scored a header in forever? Man, it's much tougher to score BAL headers in 2010 for some reason.

                                2019 Schedule and Team

After battling back from the bottom tier of the table in the early part of the season last year, Wolves quickly regrouped and Owen Coyle's emergence as a top manager began to be more clear - as the wolves bounced around 10th, eventually settling for 13th.

This year, Coyle has not made any changes whatsoever, except for re-signing Lam Matteo last week.

Of course, we will not list all 44 fixture lists, here are the first 8, and with the finish last season, the club will not take part in this year's FA Cup.
