Oh yeah, Itandje - thought you mispelt "gift" sorry. I remember that, the slightest of movements, definitely horrendous - surprised he's still on the squad and too bad PES doesn't get that he shouldn't be in the game. Oh well, he prevented Matteo enough times to be worthy.Comment

Matteo showed the Cottage how he loves being at Fulham with two goals, while new signing Erding chose to score his first goal as a Cottager in the win.

Stunning. An incredible display by Matteo - he was all over the field, and made some great plays. His two goals were gems, the first one was highly unlikely at an incredible angle. On top of scoring, he tried to set up fellow striker Erding; but of course on the second goal the favor was returned - and unlike Erding, Matteo took advantage.

Hey Matt!
Not an awesome start, but it's going great now. First win of the season. First goal was good, nice tight angle there.
I see you've gone back to the old lay-out. Looks good, very organized. Btw, Matteo's on 4 matches, not 3.
Anyway, keep the matches coming. Hope he can keep this up.Comment

Thanks btw, I like the old layout - I went through each page of the thread and it came down to what was easiest and fastest, because this year I really want to get games in. It's a blast yet again. Notice I also turned off the terrible english commentary.
So far so good, Erding is a surprise - he can't seem to head the ball for the life, but still has a deadly shot. The defense is strong, and for once some very creative backs on the sides.Comment

Yo matt. Glad the new/old layout works for you. It's fast, but also convenient for a stats update
Yeah, didn't hear any comments on the goals in the vid? So you finally killed mark lawrenson huh? Don't mind the commentary much though.
Anyway, you were talking about more games. So let's go.Comment

Re: Something in the Making: Lam Matteo (PES 2009)
Bakkal may have scored two goals himself, but Erding's were more dramatic - especially when he saw Scott Carson fumble a routine cross, directly into the striker's path for the crucial goal.

Rested, but needed. Even though Matteo put in 20 minutes, he was still given a 7.5 rating for his play up front, replacing the immobile Jovetic. Matteo had one shot on goal - but was well saved by Scott Carson in the West Brom goal. Matteo expects to play next week against Bolton, and after coming in for as little as he did, Roberto Martinez will be smart to continue playing the striker when he's fit.

Why in the world can't PES fix their match rating engine. It's embarrassing and a long standing problem.Comment

100% agree with you sir, I think when it comes to stats - there is something screwy there. Stats, and commentary...yuck.Comment

Matteo gave Fulham a fighting chance after conceding, but Negredo's persistence paid off for the home side.

Cool finish. The right place at the right time - and how about that for a left footed strike? Not bad if I do say so myself, which I do. Matteo played well, and is showing no signs of slowing down - he's got the goals to prove he's still got what it takes to play at the highest level. It's just too bad he couldn't score anymore to conserve the much needed points.
