two huge thumbs up from England. Literally, awesome fun! i read the entire thread end to end in work today whilst i was stuffing envelopes and it kept me amused for about an hour! i also checked a video of the gameplay on youtube so i can see what you were going on about!
carry on with this, it's absolutely great fun and i plan to be keeping up with this as it rolls along! if you ever need an international player, Rich Jones would love to join the Mess and help them take down the Boston boys!

Draft Day
I’m pretty nervous about tonight. I guess I just don’t want a kooky player on the Mess. I sort of miss the days of Matt, Peter, and I, but “Gibby” and Eric are pretty cool…I don’t really know what to expect.
I followed Craig Olfoy into a huge room filled with chairs and right in the front, a stage with a podium and each of the Novice Division team’s logos. I checked out the teams I would be competing against – all 16 of them. I could tell we weren’t going to win easily.
“Guys follow me.” said Craig, snapping me back to the team. We followed him to about 10 chairs with signs saying they were reserved for us. Suddenly I saw the Commissioner of the league walk out to the podium. I gulped at that and prepared to here the results of the night.
My computer got messed up on me again and I lost the rest of my update...
but here's a quick summary: we also signed Jamie Chattaway. Phil Gomez is a Freak of Nature, Ernie Volpe (pfff...) is a Tremmor, and Martin Broduer Jr. is a Milwaukee Rapture.
Martin Hill called quits after not getting picked.
That about wraps it up, sorry for the bad report.

It was a nice BAP while it lastest...but I think this is dead.

Some closing statements:
The Mess went on to be pros.
Rich Jones joined the team, replacing Jamie Chattaway who decided to be a doctor (pfff...). Rich and Matt Parks led the team to 10 first place finishes, and to beat the Boston Paintball Factory.
Peter Carey has his own brand of Paintball equipment called Peter Paint Productions.
Cody Gibson's hair was voted "Most Luschious Hair - 2009"
As for me, Mitchel Gate...I have a sweet Mercededs Benz SLR Mclaren, been hit by Cody "Gibby" Gibson's luschious almost everyday along with an automatic door once or twice, and have found out that reading in the driveway isn't the worst place to read...
I'm Mitchel Gate, and you just read my rise to the top of the Paintball world.
