For Algeria it couldn't have started any worse, they started with almost 60% of the possession but when Amr Zaki broke through the defence and reached the edge of the box Bougherra went crashing into his ankles and the referee simply couldn't keep the red card in his pocket, off goes Bougherra.

Despite the sending off Egypt were down 1-0 at the break, we asked one of the fans at half time, "Do you think they can do it?". He replied,
"Well we have beaten both Finland and Norway, so why can't we beat Algeria? We'll see."

In the 85th minute Amr Zaki got what was named 'The latest of late equalisers' by the commentators but they should have won it at the last second, Zidan was on the break but players were closing in behind him, he took the shot from 25 yards but hit the crossbar.

2. Algeria - 4 points
3. Nigeria - 3 points
4. Angola - 3 points

I played quite badly to be fair, but Moteab was injured in the first ten minutes and he's been on excellent form and you can see how much he was missed, nothing serious though, might miss the next two matches which are both Nigeria

Although Zidan has a higher rating than Moteab, Moteab is alot better.

I will have the first Nigeria match up tonight or tomorrow depending on how much time I have. After the two Nigeria games it's a friendly versus Ghana.
