    CODER Hackathon 2
Live in front of 13 fans at the CODER Dome in Blacksburg, Virginia
    Thursday, Week 1, March 2011

    Main Show

    Hornet is in the ring

Hornet: Last month, we saw the Crowdpleasers win the Binary Championships. I figured that we should have a party for them tonight. Come on out, Lintz and Byron!

Their music hits and then start coming out to the ring

    Hornet: NOW!

Suede and Martin emerge from behind them and mercilessly beat them down

Hornet: I just made 50 bucks due to your stupidity! Easiest bet I've ever won. Take that championship, boys.

Suede and Martin roll the Crowdpleasers into the ring and the match starts

    F-

    ------

    CODER Binary Championship Match

The Crowdpleasers vs The Canadian Connection

After the wrestlers had started the match, Wilcott worked hard on Martin to take him out, but Suede came out and was able to gain the upper hand. Like their previous matchup, Wilcott hit the hot tag, and Lintz came in. He dominated both wrestlers, and tagged back in Wilcott to continue. At that point, Dave Cole came down to the ring and took out Lintzkrieg while Martin distracted the ref. Cole then used brass knuckles to knock out Wilcott. Suede quickly hit the Igloomaker on Wilcott and got the pin, winning the championship under nefarious means.

Winner and NEW CODER Binary Champions: The Canadian Connection

    ------

    Chris Raaber vs Matt Walsh

This match was back and forth for a few minutes, but it became clear that Walsh had a big advantage in the match. He was able to perform any move he wanted to, including the Reverse STO which gave him the easy victory.

    Winner: Matt Walsh

    E

    ------

    CODER Dynamic Championship Match

    Red Light vs Dave Cole

Red Light came out, making sure to check behind his back for any interference in the match. Dave Cole didn't seem to need any, as he came out on fire. For a few minutes, the big behemoth was down on the mat, until he found the strength to break out of Cole's hold, and slipped out of the ring to talk with his manager, Leyla. Leyla slapped him, and kicked him in the family jewels. After that, she pushed him into the ring, and Dave Cole hit the Tiger Bomb to win the championship. After the match, Leyla slid into the ring and held up Cole's hand, marking the end of the agreement with Red Light.

Winner and NEW CODER Dynamic Champion: Dave Cole

    E

    ------

Dave Cole and Leyla remain in the ring as Hornet, Suede, and Martin all come down

Cole: Ladies and gentlemen, you are seeing the new driving force of CODER. As some of you might know, we all hail from the beacon of greatness, Canada. We are sick of being called America's Hat, and made to sound like we only eat moose and maple syrup. We are here to take over CODER from you stupid Americans. Canada is ready to completely take over America, and this is the first step. Once the American economy crashes, you will all be Canadian citizens!

    Major boos

Cole: I digress. We are the future of CODER. We are... L'Avenir.

All five pose as the fans boo

    F+

    ------

    Reid Flair vs El Oriental

Both men had intentions of stealing L'Avenir's spotlight with a great match, and they delivered. The suspensful match ended with El Oriental landing the Frankensteiner on Flair.

    Winner: El Oriental

    D-

    ------

    CODER Optimized Championship Match

    Brent Albright vs David Karslake

Karslake came out like a bat out of hell, taking the fight directly to Albright. He held this advantage for a long time, before Shark Boy's theme started to play. Karslake looked up the ramp to ready himself to attack, but Shark Boy was under the ring and clocked him from behind as the ref was looking away. Albright picked up the quick three count to defend his title.

Winner and STILL CODER Optimized Champion: Brent Albright

    E+

    ------

Shark Boy re-enters the ring with a chair

Snider: Looks like Shark Boy is turning the tables on Karslake.

Hill: Good for him! Karslake had no reason to attack him the other times!

Shark Boy beats on him for a while until he grabs a cue card and shows it to Karslake and the announcers

Snider: The cue-card says there will be a TLC match between Shark Boy and Karslake at CODER Black Hat Chaos 3! Wow! What a match!

Hill: I'm certainly looking forward to it. That's all we have for tonight though. Have a great night!

Shark Boy hits Karslake with the chair once more for garnish

    Final Show Rating: E+

Spoken like "Vinny Mac"!! Gotta love it! Always make sure you let them know who is the boss, especially the one who DOESNTUSESPACESBETWEENWORDS. (j/k around with ya)

I might try something here but I want to take a look at the created Word worksheet to go with WS2 first. Then we'll just travel back to the '80s for some territorial action involving some of the all-time greats.

Maybe you can be a "tweener" and keep changing depending on the situations that come up.

Out of curiosity, how is the promotion as a whole doing? Is the "Mysterious Voice" satisfied with your progress so far?
