Tangerine Dreams- The Story of Ian Holloway and the Tangerines

    Difficulty- World Class
    Board Difficulty- Pro

Bloomfield Road is the stadium where The Tangerines play there football. This hallowed ground has been around since 1899 with a holding capacity of almost 17,000 ecstatic fans.

    Kits:

    Home & Away

Blackpool took the EPL by storm last year with there excitement and thrill on the pitch. Manager Ian Holloway was seen as an enthusiastic manager to go for the gold at any given time, but ultimately it ended in relegation back to the Championship. Not satisfied by his job last season in the EPL Ian Holloway urged owner Owen Oyston to let him stay on as manager and bring them back to the glory of the EPL. With that begins the story of Ian Holloway and The Tangerines.

    Blackpool, England

In Ian Holloway's first presser before the season we sat down and asked him a few questions fans have been wanting to know.

Reporter: With MVP of last season Charlie Adam leaving for Liverpool over the summer do you expect to bring any new blood into the team?

    Ian:
We are always certainly looking at bringing new blood in for competition and starting roles we have our eyes on some younger talent we might be bringing into the club, but I am not naming any names yet (laughs).

    Reporter:
Being the energetic person you are on the pitch will you still carry that over to your team's attitude on gameday after being relegated this past year?

    IH:
I will always be this way and my team will always be lively no matter what. We thrive on being a close family and enjoying ourselves out there on the pitch, so no I will not change the way the lads prepare for a match.

    Reporter:
Well I know you have to get going so one last question. How do you think your team will fare this season being back in the Championship?

    IH:
I think we will be a very competitive team this season with the tough challenge we had last year in the EPL. Not everyone can say they played "The Big 4" so close last year like we did being such a small club.

Reporter: Well thank you for your time this evening and good luck this year.

    IH:
    Thank you

      Preseason Games

      SC Freiburg 1-1
      Juventus 3-0
      Real Sporting 2-2

Preseason was what we thought it would be said coach Ian Holloway. It was a pretty solid preseason schedule. We had a tough 3 game stretch to test our ability and see who fits where. All in all it was not the best start but hey what can you do. The points don't matter yet do the eh??
