    CCB's FIFA 13 Manager Mode

    WARNING:
This thread is going to be entirely text. No videos. This is really just me updating you guys on my results and transfers and line-ups. Nothing fancy. If you were expecting a BHurst dynasty, this is not it.

So, since my QPR manager mode was just too bloody HARD, I've decided to start one with my team, Newcastle United!
I know some of you will be asking, why did he take his favorite team? Now he'll be impacted by favoritism!
Well, I'll be the first to tell you that Newcastle's thus-far disappointing 2012-13 campaign means I will be MORE than happy to sell off all of my players.
Barring I don't get fired, this manager mode will go on for five seasons. I will only do Youth Academy for the first season, and only sign young transfers in Season One. After that (barring my firing), it will be four seasons of constant competition (I hope)
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    Mode Details
Difficulty : Pro (Cut me some slack, I'm just not that good at Fifa)
Board Leniency : 85% (Lenient) (I want some serious cash to upgrade!)
    Half Length : 6 minutes
Will sim all CapitalOne Cup matches

    EXPECTATIONS:
    (ridiculous)
League : Qualify for Europa League (5th or higher)
    Domestic Cup : Reach Final
Europa League : Win the Cup

    ARE YOU SERIOUS?

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------
    JULY 2012
    Transfers
    In
RB Cedric 73 (SC Portugal) 3.9 Million
ST Lamela 77 (AS Roma) 5.6 Million
    Out
ST Ba 82 (AS Roma) 13.5 Million
CM Gosling 73 (Bayern Munchen) 3.0 Million
ST Xisco 69 (Norwich) 1.9 Million

    Matches

    v. Montpellier (3-0 Win) (Friendly)
Montpellier had plenty of chances, and the scoreline did not reflect the flow of the match at all. They really missed Arsenal summer signing Olivier Giroud up front. I was actually outshot, they simply could not find the back of my net.

@ FC Augsburg (2-1 Win) (Friendly)
Dominated this match, couldn't capitalize on a lot of my chances! Lamela looked good in his Newcastle debut!

    v. Hannover 96 (0-4 Loss) (Friendly)
Absolutely dominated start-to-finish by an in-form Hannover. Krul had no chance on any of the goals.

    OPENING DAY LINE-UP
    For Aug. 18th v. Tottenham
    (4-3-2-1)
    Krul (79)
    Santon (75)- Perch (70) - Taylor (76)- Simpson (76)
    Amalfitano - Cabaye - Tioté
    Ben Arfa - Lamela
    Cissé

Still hoping to sign Bayern Munich's Holgen Badstuber (CB, 83 overall). Perch is not expected to be a permanent starter. He's simply not good enough to be an everyday Premier League starter.

    August Schedule
    Sun. Aug. 18th - v. Tottenham
    Sun. Aug. 25th - @ Chelsea
    Tue. Aug. 28th - v. Aston Villa

Next update I'll have word on Badstuber, and a brief recap of my first three matches!
Hoping for 4 points, would be satisfied with three. Unless I sign Badstuber, Spurs and Chelsea will rip James Perch to bits at centreback.

    I like sportz.
