    Summary:
The headlines surrounding this game will be one of panic for Milan fans who watched their team go down at home to an awful Catania club. However, the underlying truth is that Milan played a great game, but Catania played a perfect game. Milan would start off hot, as El Shaarawy would put in an early rebound goal off an errant Allen shot in the 3'. Catania would not let that affect them, pushing the attack right back at Milan. Acerbi would take down Llama on a late tackle inside the penalty area, drawing the foul and the yellow card and giving up a penalty kick. Maxi Lopez would put the penalty home, evening up the game early. Catania continued to keep Milan on their heels, largely on the play of Maxi in the middle, disrupting the Milan midfield and slicing through the backline with excellent skill and passing. Maxi would once again find room drawing defenders in his direction before lobbing a ball over the top that Biaganti would find, striking a perfect ball into the top left corner for the 2-1 lead. Milan would find some magic late, finally getting some chances of their own. Boateng would find himself on a 2v1 with Emanuelson. e would give to Emanuelson, and the winger would miss a wide open shot on net, just wide of the post. Just as he has done so many times before, Allen played the hero in the 90'. He would dribble around the Catania penalty area, looking for space. The two defenders that were on him stumbled into each other, and that was all the space Allen needed to fire off a right footed bomb into the far corner past the outreached hand of Andujar. San Siro went crazy as Milan tied up the game. But the game was not over. On the restart, the referee did not blow the whistle, giving Catania one last chance. Maxi once again played the decoy, giving the ball to a cutting Gomez just inside the penalty area. Acrebi charged, but that left just enough room for Gomez to send a great through ball to Barrientos for a wide open look at the net. He wouldn't miss from there, poking a ball just underneath a diving Brkic for the game winner. Milan loses a heartbreaker to Catania, 3-2.

We are only 10 games into this season, but already the power players are making themselves known. Serie A favorites Juventus are once again off to a hot start as they find themselves undefeated and all alone at the top of the Serie A standings. Only 4 points separate 2nd place from 7th place as a group of teams including Inter, Udinese, and Milan all fight to separate themselves from the pack.

Once again Allen is making big plays happen for Milan

A few valuable players such as Fabbrini and Leandro Damiao left Serie A for other leagues in the fall transfer window, but that does not mean that there are still not great players performing at a high level. The leader of this group is Milan's Allen who has found himself in no shortage of controversy this year. Regardless of the off the field press, his on the field performance is outstanding as he once again is leading the league in goals. Their rivals Inter also have a couple of top performers in Destro and "Chicharito" Hernandez, doing well with their 1-2 combinations. The rest of the league leaders are below.

        Summary:
Milan would take a trip for their matchup in the downpouring rain against a resurgent Udinese. Udinese fans had been riding high ever since their recent influx of capital with their new American investment group owners. The team already had a good amount of talent and made sure to put an all out pressure on Milan's front 3 attackers. Unfortunatley for them, it backfired horribly in the 5' as El Shaarawy would put in a header off a long ball in the air sent in by Constant from the right side. Padelli came to far foward and El Shaarawy made him pay for it by knocking it with his head up and over the keepers outstreched hand for the goal. That would be the only goal of the match as from here it became a tough defensive battle between both clubs. Jelavic would get a couple chances to equalize, with the best chance coming early in the second half on a header from a corner kick attempt. Brkic would make the diving save, and the rebound by Boder would clang off the post. Milan would take control from here as Paulinho played the steadying force for the team in the midfield. Allen was largely held in check this match, but then again Acerbi and the back line for Milan did the same with forwards Jelavic and Muriel. A good solid win for Milan carries them towards another meeting against Hamburger SV in the Champions League.

            Summary:
The rivalry matchup between old foes Inter and Milan was less competitive than usual as the roar of the fans carrying the red and black banners continued to wave throughout San Siro as Milan dominated the match from start to finish. Milan would get started in the 3' as Allen would find himself just on the right outside corner of the Inter penalty area. Allen would fake shot to fool Biachetti, cutting inside for a wide open chance on net. Instead of taking the shot as Handanovic charged from the box, Allen would sweat the ball across to El Shaarawy for the easy early goal. The second Milan goal was almost a duplicate of the first, as Allen once again found himself in a one on one with Biachetti. Allen would once again fake shot to get inside, but this time Mbaye would stay home in the middle to prevent the pass. Allen would check to his left and would take the ambitious shot with his left foot. The ball would curl to the upper left corner well out of Handanovic's reach for the 2-0 lead in the 9'. The other Milan forward, Carmona, would get involved in the action to close out the half with a rocket volley off an El Shaarawy cross to put the game at 3-0. The only thing marring the match for Milan were late injuries. Trellez went down early in the second half on a routine header that twisted his knee. He will be out at least a month with the injury. Then just before the end of the game, a major blow would be dealt to Milan as El Shaarawy would be taken down from behind late on a breakaway, lading awkwardly on his shoulder. He would immediately come off the field, and early reports are that he will be out at least 2 months with the injury. This was a big win for Milan, but it remains to be seen how Milan will replace the uncanny production of El Shaarawy up front.

David Seville @ExtraTimeDave- Well so much for losing endorsements. It looks as if @2AlvinAllen will sign a deal with Adidas after getting dropped by Nike. Is this the sign of a turnaround in Allen's rep or is it just a savvy, low risk, high reward chance for Adidas?

Pete Patterson @PeteFC_ESPN- The USMNT has submitted their international friendly roster, and one noticeable name is missing from the list. @2AlvinAllen is once again left off of the team. Bruin and Altidore have been the first names on the team sheet recently. Does this mean trouble for the young star?

Gabrielle Anthony @GabbyGabs- To all my friends and family, I love and miss you all and will contact you as soon as I can. Just know that I am safe and in good hands. That is all I can post for now. Please understand. Thanks.

                  Summary:
Attack, attack, attack was the mindset of a Napoli team looking to impose their will on a Milan team that looked very sluggish early on in the contest. The chief of these attackers was the striker Dumitru who it seemed that Milan had no answer for. Dumitru would lead an early attack that would see EL Kaddoouri get free inside the Milan penalty area. He would send in the excellent through ball and El Kaddouri would finish up high past Amelia for the early goal in the 13'. Soon after Dumitru would get a goal of his own, this time on the assist from Hamsik on another long build up by Napoli in Milan territory in the 18'. It looked like it would be a Napoli runaway, but somehow Milan regained composure and made it a match. WIth El Shaarawy hurt, the burden now fell to Allen and Carmona up front to generate some offense, and they would answer the call. Just before the end of the half, Carmona would break free up the wing, cutting past Zuniga with a nasty step over move just before sending forward the long lob pass that caught Allen in stride. Allen would finish with a finesse ball just over the head of the diving Frison to put the match 2-1 heading into the second half. The second half would be a battle of midfields as Muntari and the Milan side continued to battle with D'Agostino and his Napoli teammates. Neither team could seem to breakthrough, but just before the end of the match, Milan would get one final chance on a small window on the right wing. Boateng would find Allen on the right wing just outside the corner of the penalty area. No defenders closed, so Allen cut inside and took a chancy shot with the outside of his left foot that caught Frison off guard. The ball would bend up towards the far post and looked wide, but the ball just bounced off the inside of the post and rolled past the line for the 90' goal. Another closing goal for Milan gets them the draw as they steal a heartbreaking point from Napoli.

                    Galatasaray v. Milan
                    Champions League Group Stage

Undefeated Milan made their way back home to San Siro to face a struggling Galatasaray in Champions League play. The situation was a must win for Galatasaray if they wanted to keep pace and move to the knockout stage, but realistically they were in a race with Hamburg for third place in the group as Milan and Valencia seemed to be locked in for first and second in the group.
The game would get started with Galatasaray in firm control of possession with Felipe Melo running the show from the center midfield. A key matchup in this game would be to see how he and his team would matchup up against a piecemeal backline made up of midfielders and second tier players for Milan as fitness and injuries had taken their toll. Through the first 20 minutes of the match, Galatasaray took 6 shots to Milan’s 0 shots. One of these chances came on a cross by Colak. Brkic came out to try to catch it in the air, but the ball just sailed overhead and hit Yildrim right on his foot. The striker fired towards net, but the ball clanged off the post and was cleared away by Mesbah.
Milan would finally head out on a counter attack opportunity and began to play with the ferocity that was expected of them. Carmona and Allen would work their magic again, using the give and go on the left side of the pitch to free up Allen inside. Allen would fire near post, sending the electric strike past the keeper Ceylan in the 29’. From there Milan would firmly take control of the game, preventing any more shots by Galatasaray in the first half and teeing off on the keeper in their own right. The half would end with a dangerous Allen shot that would head just wide of the far post.

Brkic comes up with a big save against Yildrim

The second half would begin with Galatasaray trying to recapture some of their early game magic by pushing up on the right side of the pitch, attacking left back Mesbah and center back Paulinho who were both stepping into a tough role in this match. They played well by using Paulinho’s speed and cutting off passing lanes, both Mesbah and Paulinho were able to parry away most attempts by Colak and Inan to get through on that side.
Milan would get their chances as well. Muntari was playing extremely well in the middle of the pitch, mostly taking on Felipe Melo defensively, but he also got his chances on the offensive side of the pitch as well. He would take a deep shot from 30 yards out that Ceylan barely got a hand on, forcing a corner kick chance for Milan. Abate would take the corner, and Allen would find it with his head, but Ceylan would again find a way to get a hand on it and knock it to a defender to clear the ball away.
As the clock would tick precious seconds away, Mancini would look to the strikers Yildrim and Yilmaz to get something going offensively for their club. Galatasaray went on an all out attack to try to get some sort of points from the match. The strong build up would center on the middle of the Milan penalty area, just outside the box. Burak Yilmaz would do a nice give and go with Felipe Melo to get free just inside the penalty area. Bonea and Paulinho bit towards the immediate threat, allowing Yildrim to sneak in behind on a nice through ball. Yidrim would be all alone with Brkic inside, but the savvy keepr had already read the play and had charged out, cutting off the angle. The Galatasaray star attempted to power the shot over the keeper, but Brkic read it perfectly and dove to his right, knocking the ball away with authority for the excellent save where it would be cleared away. The San Siro crowded cheered with their keeper as Brkic roared defiantly after that incredible save. Galatasaray would not recover from their, as Milan would run out the remainder of the clock, sealing the 1-0 victory.

                      Summary:
Milan would leave their matchup in all smiles as the struggling visitors Chievo Verona could do little to stop i Rossoneri from dominating the pitch. Carmona would get things started with a goal in the 17’as Allen would find the winger cutting to the middle and one timing a ball that would deflect off the keeper Romero and sneak just inside the post. Carmona would return the favor in the second half by lobbing a ball over the top of the last defender that would hit Allen in stride for the easy breakaway goal. Chievo Verona would get one back late in the match from Samassa on a nice through ball from center midfielder Hetemaj, but Milan would close out the scoring with a late 90’ goal from Carmona on a rocket to the upper corner to secure the match for Milan. Next up for Milan it’s a trip to face struggling Parma.

Re: Mr. Second Place: An Autobiographical Tale of Alvin Allen (Fifa 13)

Gabby and I continued to play house over the course of the next few weeks. Helms did not contact either one of us, but I figured it was best for her to continue to stay low. Gabby was going stir crazy, but she understood that before she could head home, we needed to understand what was going on. As scared as we both were for her safety, we found ourselves reconnecting with each other. I realized that for the first time since Quinn died I had allowed myself to be close to another woman. Those nights when I could be with her were some of the best in my life.
I continued to try to get some time with Leo, but he and Madame Apuzzo were busy restructuring their plans at Geneeskunde, leaving me with little insight into what was going on. I headed over to their offices in Milan, but the access I had been afforded to was now revoked. I needed help on the inside. My brother A.T. found himself working side by side with the Valente and Apuzzo families and was now firmly entrenched in their inner circle. It was time to bring him up to speed on what was going on.
“Alvin, what’s going on?” A.T. asked as I opened the door to let him in my house, “You sounded like you were in trouble.”
“I sort of am, little brother,” I sighed as I directed him to sit down on my couch. “What’s going on with Leo lately? I can’t get any time with him.”
A.T. smiled, “Don’t worry about it man. He’s still a little mad about that press conference you pulled. I’m sure it’ll blow over. Besides, him and Apuzzo are working on something big right now.”
                        “What’s that?” I said curiously.
“Well, it looks like they found someone who wants to buy the A-81 project. I can’t go into much detail right now as the deal is of the off the books variety…”
A.T. trailed off as he caught a glimpse of Gabby walking down the stairs and into the living room. As it dawned on him who was walking towards him A.T. jumped off the couch and pulled a gun from his waist. I realized that he knew who she was and I jumped between both of them as my brother had a gun pointed directly at my face.
“Alvin, what is she doing here?” he yelled. As she started to back away, A.T. pointed up and shot at my ceiling. “Naw, sweetheart, you stay right there.”
“Alton, what are you doing?” I yelled back.
“No what are you doing shacking up with the girl who destroyed our A-81 deal let alone completely ruined your athletic reputation?”he screamed back.
I motioned with my hands for him to calm down, “Look, A.T., calm down, this is why I brought you over here. Someone put a hit out on her and we need to talk to Leo to straighten this out.”
Just then A.T. unexpectedly punched me in the stomach and pushed me out of the way. He grabbed Gabby and held her as he twisted her around with the gun pointed at her temple.
“I put the hit out on her!” he screamed. “She messed us up, man!”
The flood of emotions I felt when I lost Quinn rushed back into my head as I watched Gabby held against her will with a gun to her head.
“Alton, look, please, don’t do this.” I pulled myself off the floor. “Look around man, I’m still doing fine. You said yourself that Valente and Apuzzo were working on a new deal.”
Alton clicked the hammer of the gun. “Not good enough Alvin. Did you know she was being used by the feds? Give me one good reason not to pull this trigger.”
                        “Alton please, I…” I started.
“No, Alvin, this is…” A.T shouted.
Gabby then whispered something in her mousey voice.
“What did you say? Speak up,” A.T. yelled at her.
“You said you want a reason not to kill me,” she spoke softly.
“Yeah, and?” he replied with disdain. “Why shouldn’t I?”
                        “Because I’m pregnant.”

                          Summary:
Parma just could not catch a break against Milan. The defending Serie A champions crushed their competition with a flurry of shots, shooting an astonishing 15 times 11 of which were on target. Parma would strike first with a goal in the 36’ on a counter attack that found Biabiany all alone against Brkic. He would put away the easy finesse shot for the opening goal, but after that it was all Milan. Paulinho, Allen, and Carmona would all find the back of the net in the one, but it was truly the outstanding play of the midfield of Milan pushing up and putting pressure on the Parma back line. Parma could not get out of their own territory as Milan would dominate play and teed off on their opponent. This would be a tune up game for Milan as they will look to close out Champiuons League play at home against Valencia in just 3 days time.

Posted a lot this weekend for the first time in a while.

Ok so here's the deal, I bought Fifa 14 and I decided how I'm going to do this thing. I will finish this season in Fifa 13. Meanwhile, while I post to this, I am also simultaneously doing a Player CM in Fifa 14. I will get that CM to the current year in this story and then go from there.

So to recap, once this season is over, I will be moving forward with gameplay on Fifa 14 and it will be in the 2016-2017 season. Thanks.

                              Valencia v. Milan
                              Champions League Group Stage

Bonega looks on stunned having been swept by Milan

The match was over before Valencia knew what hit them. The buzz saw known as Milan wreaked havoc on their competitors, cutting through the opposing side with their superior pace and skill. Milan got started early in the 10' with a blistering shot by Allen from range with his left foot, cutting up past the outreached gloves of Diego Alves. Boateng would finish another chance before the end of the first half on a great give and go feed with Muntari which was started by a Carmona through ball. The goals will be the story of this match, but the astonishing fact was that it just seemed like Valencia was not ready to play this match. Balotelli and Soldado looked a step slow on the ball. Bonega would do his best to try to push his midfield forward, but possession laid in the feet, so to speak, of Paulinho, Boateng, and the rest of the Milan side. Carmona would add another goal late on a header off an Allen cross to put Valenica out of their misery. This would put an end to the group stage with a dominant performance by the Group G winners Milan. They won all of their matches in the group and look poised and ready for a run for the Champions League crown.
