#48 D.J. Porter and #72 Billy Nixon finished 2nd and 3rd to push themselves farther away from the pack in the season point standings just short of the halfway point in the season. There is still 18 races left to go and it is still anyone's championship to win. This was the 1st trip to Caraway this season and was more active in terms of hard racing and impatience than for most of the season as there only has been a couple races where the caution flags and sheet metal pile mounted up. There was 4 cautions on the day and 3 drivers lead a lap exchanging the lead 3 times during the race.

#2 Jimmyboy85: Another top ten...still not what we're looking for but still in the running for the championship. ..so I like to think.

#15 no9uawdodge: What have we learned in thirteen races? Obviously that we're one of the have nots in this series.

#51 Don Bouquin: Well we got a pole. But still fell from 1st to 12th. Still need to get this Buick up to race speed.

#12 Eleno Jianoran: Fourth Place Finish is a Good Move for the Jollibee Car, Hopefully I Can keep this race moving next week in South Boston, VA!

#22 Jacob Winter: Things were going ok until those guys started racing like idiots out there and wrecked me...maybe they should go back to go carts.

#32 James Taylor: We decided to pit instead of staying out and we ended up with a good finish. Almost close to cracking the top 10 in the standings so that is good.

Not a whole lot to write home about on track wise. #2 Jimmyboy85 invents break dancing sporting parachute pants behind the wheel and takes home a cool 1000 dollars for taking out the man that hasn't had any bad luck all season long in points leader, #72 Billy Nixon. That grand will have to used in the emergency room as the plastic from the pants don't hold up too well in a 120 degree race car. #22 Jacob Winter retaliates on a fellow forum member #48 D.J. Porter sitting 2nd in points in after getting taken out last week. Points wise it tightened up just a bit, but Nixon and Porter still have a comfortable lead battling amongst themselves even after both had a bad day. There was 3 cautions on the day and 7 drivers exchanged the lead 9 times during the race.

#2 Jimmyboy85: Not what we wanted. ..just seem to be watching the championship dream slip away.

#51 Don Bouquin: Well now a win. We still need to move up in points but it is starting to look up. The car is starting to work.

#25 Ryan Cole: Maybe my luck isn't all bad. Involved in a wreck and I still finished 6th. Wow.

#7 Ron Draggo: Things are just not going our way right now, but we are still within striking distance.

#22 Jacob Winter: I hate driving rough, but I'm not going to just sit back and be banged around like a pinball every week. The time has come to treat others the way I'm treated. Glad to finally get a top 5 finish. Hopefully the momentum can carry over to next week.

The victory places #12 Eleno Jianoran in 2nd place in the season points standings with the field still trying to chase down #72 Billy Nixon which finished 12th on the day allowing a few drivers to gain some much needed points. The man that came into the race 2nd in #48 D.J. Porter was forced to withdraw from the race with 27 laps to go when his engine let go. There was no cautions on the day and 5 drivers each lead a lap exchanging the lead 6 times on the day.
