King of the Ring PPV Preview

    MATCH CARD PREVIEW

    Unified Tag Team Championship:
    G.L.O.W. (Joseph T. Lutte & Quinn Cadbury) (C) vs.
American Cool (Antonio Jordan & Krizz Torture)

This feud between the arrogant European duo and the fan-favorite American pair has been hot lately, and it will finally come to a head over the Tag Team titles to open the show Sunday. Earlier in the month, Joseph & Quinn paid Vincent Serum to attack Krizz, which kept him out of commission for a few weeks. He returned and saved Intercontinental champ Antonio from a potential 3-on-1 attack, and the American partners found an unlikely 3rd partner in Mr. Money in the Bank Angus to help them win a hard-fought 6-man tag match on the final Smackdown before the PPV. With no outside forces at ringside and just the two teams going at it, who will walk away with the belts?

    Divas Championship (Triple Threat Match):
Beth Phoenix (C) vs. Brittany Black vs. Maryse

The "Glamazon" pissed off Raw GM Stephanie McMahon with her comments earlier in the month, which led to Steph creating this 3-way title bout. Brittany officially defended her #1 contender status in a very close matchup with former champ Maryse, but now the French-Canadian beauty is still in contention. Last week, Maryse and the "Evil Diva" couldn't get along in a tag match against Beth and the Bella Twins so that adds more intrigue to this match. Can Beth survive and keep the title? Or will another Diva be leaving with the butterfly belt?

    United States Championship:
Big Mutha Trucker (C) vs. David Degenerate

The "Dangerous Genius" has spent all month trying to prove to Trucker that he should be afraid of a potential rematch. First, he beat Hardcore champ Shawn Midnight one-on-one and then last week, the scheduled match between these 2 rivals never even started after David started a pre-match brawl... which he ended by slamming the steel steps right into Trucker's face! Will the "Resident Redneck" be 100% by Sunday, and hopefully hold off his former friend to keep his title? Or will David's constant tricks give him a 4th U.S. title reign?

    King of the Ring Tournament
Final Match: Renegade vs. Eric Executioner (w/ Mr. Black)

The return of the King of the Ring Tournament has been an exciting development to watch, as 8 Raw and 8 Smackdown competitors that began the tourney has been dwindled down to 2 finalists. Renegade earned the Raw Final victory last week over Mack Wheeler, while Eric E. continued his dominance by defeating a resilient H.E.R.O. in the Smackdown Final. If Renegade can overcome the narcissist and his creepy managerial sidekick, then the party animal earns a WWE Title shot at the upcoming Night of Champions PPV. But if Eric can beat Renegade, then he will earn a World Heavyweight Title match at Night of Champions. It's an exciting match, with potential world-shattering results. Who will be named the official King of the Ring?

    World Heavyweight & Women's Championship
    ("Winner Take All" Mixed-Tag Match):
Rebel Ford (C) & Eve (C) vs. Ace & Melina

The development of this big match has been interesting to watch. Melina, who used to be Rebel's beau when he was on Raw, had been on a rough road since he got drafted to Smackdown. Rebel went on to win the World Title in his 1st Smackdown match, and the connection between them was severed. Rebel recently got hooked up with Women's champ Eve, which drove Melina to very jealous feelings. In response, she began to stalk the two and found a new friend... Rebel's rival Ace! The "Ultimate Superstar" and the Hollywood starlet have been getting the upper hand on the champion couple all month long, including Melina's victory over Eve a few weeks ago! As a result of these developments, Smackdown GM Teddy Long designed a match to settle the issue... a mixed-tag match with BOTH the World Heavyweight and Women's titles on the line! Can Rebel and Eve retain the gold and send Melina back to Raw for good? Or will Ace finally complete his goal of reclaiming the belt, while Melina remains on Smackdown... as a new champion?

    No DQ Match:
    Gravedigger vs. DMK

Here... we... go. This match pitting the returning "Graveyard Monster" against the man he views as the person who has everything 'Digger desires. Gravedigger wants to destoy DMK and take everything away from him, and coerced DMK into challenging him. Gravedigger beat up WWE champ Carson Pain multiple times this month while DMK looked on but didn't help. Finally, DMK stopped Gravedigger from challenging for the WWE Title, claiming that he admired Carson's never-give-up attitude and that 'Digger himself didn't deserve to face a champion like that. But the ploy turned out to be exactly what Gravedigger wanted, which led to this No DQ matchup. Who will claim Raw's "dark soul" and prove themselves worthy of being feared by all?

        Questions?

Hey guys, just got a couple questions for those who follow the site/thread. Nobody's posted any feedback yet which isn't a big deal but I am hoping for a few responses on things...

        1) What do you think of the written results? Too much detail, not enough, just the right amount? Easy to read, difficult, etc.?

        2) What do you think of the website layout/format? Easy to navigate? Suggestions for improvement?

        3) I know I have a lot of work to do on past show results, updated career profiles, etc. and I'm working on that stuff slowly when I get a chance. I don't want to spend forever doing all that and not doing any new/current stuff. Any suggestions on what older stuff I should update first?

        4) What do you think of the storylines/booking so far? Interesting/boring/etc.?

        5) Are you ok with the previews in the OS thread with results on the website format?

Thanks in advance to anybody that responds. I have limited time to update the site (wife, kid, job, etc) so I do my best. Just wanted to make it enjoyable for those who follow. Let me know what you think or what suggestions you have!

          July Week 1 Previews

          RAW PREVIEW

          1) Gravedigger wins the battle... but the war is far from over
The main event of the King of the Ring PPV featured a brutal, nail-biting No DQ match between Gravedigger and DMK. DMK ended up busted open and beaten down, leading to a 'Digger victory. But the satisfaction of a violent win didn't last long for the "Graveyard Monster"... as a bloody, crowd-supported DMK rose up after the match and asked 'Digger for more! The lasting image of the show was Gravedigger shaking in rage on the stage as he glared at his rival and listened to the crowd chant against him. What's next for these two dark men? And since WWE champ Carson Pain interfered on DMK's behalf during the match... how does "The Original" get involved?

          2) Trucker outsmarts the "Genius"
U.S. champ Big Mutha Trucker walked into the King of the Ring PPV with the title and a heated rematch with former friend David Degenerate... but walked out still with the belt! Despite David's constant tricks, Trucker outlasted him and pulled out the victory to retain the title. Who will be Trucker's next opponent? And with David's penchant for doing whatever it takes to get what he wants... how will he respond after another tough loss?

          3) Beth stays strong
Despite getting pushed into a 3-way title match against Brittany Black and Maryse, the "Glamazon" retained her Divas Title in impressive fashion at the King of the Ring PPV. Hopefully Beth has learned her lesson to watch what she says. What's next for her and her beau Brett Diamond?

          4) Renegade falls short of the crown
Despite outlasting the other Raw competitors in the King of the Ring Tournament to qualify for the PPV final, Renegade was not able to defeat Eric Executioner and earn a WWE Title shot. The party animal showed no fear of the strange Mr. Black character and put up a good fight against the narcissist, but was unable to pull out the win. After all the dirty moves and assistance from partner Lee Money that he has used lately, will the rivals he has created along the way come back for some revenge?

          SMACKDOWN PREVIEW

          1) Rebel and Eve stay champions
In a very interesting, emotional battle between World Heavyweight champ Rebel Ford and Women's champ Eve and challengers Ace and Melina in a "Winner Take All" mixed-tag match for both belts, the champions found a way to claim victory. With Melina now dispatched back to Raw and Ace vanquished again, it seems like Rebel and Eve can finally relax. Except...

          2) King Eric will reign
... Eric Executioner claimed victory in the King of the Ring Tournament final and earned a World title shot at the upcoming Night of Champions PPV. I don't know what's worse for Rebel: facing the annoying arrogance of Ace, or the remorseless violence of Eric E.? And don't forget... Mr. Black is always by Eric's side. Will Eric continue his path of terror all the way to the World Title? Or can Rebel keep his momentum and roll on with Eve and the fans behind him?

          3) G.L.O.W. shines
Despite their failed attempts to gain any sense of psychological and/or physical advantage over their American Cool rivals in the buildup to the PPV, the G.L.O.W. team of Joseph T. Lutte and Quinn Cadbury used some impressive teamwork to defeat Antonio Jordan and Krizz Torture to retain the Tag Team titles. The European duo have their 1st title defense under their belt, but don't be surprised to see Antonio and Krizz clamor for a rematch.

          4) Craig Bullet... the "Criminal" champion
On the final Smackdown before the King of the Ring PPV, Craig Bullet defended his ECW title against former champ Rusty. But thanks to his partner Tony's pre-match interference, Craig had a huge advantage and easily retained his title over the resilient "2 Xtreme" superfan. Will Rusty respond and challenge the "High-Flyin' Criminal" to another (and hopefully fair) rematch? Or does Craig and Tony have other plans in mind?

              RAW PREVIEW

              1) DMK sends 'Digger a violent message
Last week, WWE champ Carson Pain survived a brutal battle against Travis Roarke and rallied for a close win. But his victory celebration was cut short by Gravedigger, who came out to challenge "The Original" to a WWE Title match. But Raw GM Stephanie McMahon had some bad news for the "Graveyard Monster" - due to his interference at the Extreme Rules PPV, DMK was still entitled to a title opportunity as well! Not only that, but DMK himself let loose of his pent-up aggression and started a show-closing brawl with 'Digger! It's pretty obvious that Gravedigger and DMK have their sights set on destroying each other... and the WWE Title! What's the next step in this intense feud? Also... how will Carson get himself involved?

              2) The search for a new U.S. #1 contender continues
The "Billion-Dollar Princess" also had a major hand in developing a plan for identifying U.S. champ Big Mutha Trucker's next opponent. Two qualifying matches took place last Monday, where Mack Wheeler and Brett Diamond scored HUGE upsets over Hardcore champ Shawn Midnight and David Degenerate, respectively, to earn spots in a 4-man battle royal. This week, Renegade battles Corey Youngblood in one qualifying match while former-partners-turned-rivals Travis Roarke and Dylan Dynamite face off... in a Table Match! Dynamite and the "Assassin" agreed to up the ante on their qualifying match due to their recent feud, but only 1 of them can earn a spot in the battle royal. Who will join Mack and Brett to complete the battle royal lineup... and possibly become Trucker's next foe?

              3) David gets a mysterious invite to chat
After the "Dangerous Genius" received a shocking loss to Brett Diamond last week, he went on an uncontrollable tear backstage that included vandalism and an attack on a crew member. But his violent rant was interrupted by an unknown man, who invited David in for a chat. Will we find out who pulled David aside and if so... what does he want David for?

              4) Lee Money's reign is threatened
Stephanie threw her weight around a lot last Monday, including announcing a match for the upcoming Night of Champions PPV... a Cruiserweight Title Scramble Match! Steph was not pleased with Lee Money's actions of late, and informed him that he would defend his belt and put his 8-month reign on the line against 4 other challengers. Steph also will be keeping his opponents a secret until they each get a chance to face "Cash" one-on-one throughout the coming weeks! Anarchy got the first shot last Monday, but Lee found a way to claim victory. Who will Lee face this week and claim their spot in the Scramble match?

              SMACKDOWN PREVIEW

              1) King Eric spooks Eve... and punishes Rebel
After World Heavyweight champ Rebel Ford notched an impressive win over Tag Team champ Joseph T. Lutte in the main event, the mysterious Mr. Black played a strange chanting recording and applauded sarcastically. The distraction allowed his client Eric Executioner to sneak up from behind and beat the champ with a lead pipe, which frightened Women's champ Eve so badly that the final image of the show was her cringing in fear. Eric's recent King of the Ring Tournament victory earned him a World Title shot at the upcoming Night of Champions PPV, but it's clear that he and Mr. Black are not going to wait to gain a psychological and physical advantage. How will Rebel respond this week? Or does the creepy Mr. Black have more scary ideas?

              2) G.L.O.W.'s overconfidence costs them 2 matches
The Tag Team champs felt great after they defended their titles at the King of the Ring PPV, but they got in over their heads last Friday. The "Fantastic Frenchman" couldn't outlast World champ Rebel Ford (see above) while Quinn Cadbury failed in his challenge to Antonio Jordan's Intercontinental title. The European duo have proven before that they get pretty nasty when they are wronged, so expect revenge this week. To those two... the cost of payback is no concern!

              3) Hitman shoots up the ranks
A 6-man battle royal to determine the new ECW #1 contender was held last week, and Hitman Jack was the final man standing! This week, the lethal Canadian is scheduled to cash in his title shot against champ Craig Bullet so it's time for the "High-Flyin' Criminal" to put up or shut up! Will Craig enlist Tony to again pay a role in the match, or will he dare to face Hitman alone?

              4) The "Irish Giant" stays unblemished
Angus picked up yet another win last Friday over Vincent Serum to open the show, and had Antonio Jordan's support too. It's been over a year and the big guy still hasn't tasted defeat. Carrying around both the undefeated streak - and the Money in the Bank briefcase - makes Angus one of the most dangerous men on the Smackdown roster!

Check out the website for the most recent show updates! Two more men qualified for next week's U.S. #1 Contender battle royal while a 3-way WWE Title match was made... but only 1 man stood tall to end Raw! RAW PREVIEW

                  1) 3-way dance for WWE gold set
Another huge title match was officially set for the upcoming Night of Champions PPV last week on Raw when WWE champ Carson Pain, DMK and Gravedigger all agreed to face off for Raw's top title. DMK came out to discuss the tough decisions he's faced within the last few years, which earned the respect of "The Original". But 'Digger didn't like being left out of the WWE Title conversation, and put forth a challenge as well. Not only that, but the "Graveyard Monster" again exerted his physical power over his rivals and stood tall to close the show, raising the belt high in a possible sign of things to come. Will Carson and/or DMK be able to even faze 'Digger before the 3-way title collision at the PPV?

                  2) Trucker gets a challenger
A highly-anticipated battle royal to determine the new #1 contender for Big Mutha Trucker's U.S. title will be held on Raw. Mack Wheeler, Brett Diamond, Renegade and Travis Roarke all won qualifying matches to put themselves in this bout, but only 1 man can outlast all. Who will earn a title shot and take on the "Resident Redneck"?

                  3) Midnight creepin'
Last week, Brett Diamond and Mack Wheeler crossed paths and wished each other luck in the upcoming U.S. #1 contender battle royal (see above). But after their conversation ended, the cameras picked up Hardcore champ Shawn Midnight watching in the background. Shawn and Brett have had a recent history... is "Daddy Mack" coming for more? Midnight also didn't seem too happy when he lost his qualifying match to Mack earlier this month, and is known to be the jealous type. What is going through his mind?

                  4) Lee tastes defeat... more losses to come?
Last week, Cruiserweight champ Lee Money suffered a tough loss at the hands of Paulie Dominos in another preview match before "Cash" puts his title on the line in a 5-man Scramble match at the Night of Champions PPV. This week, another challenger will be revealed and get his shot at Lee. Can the champ get back on track with a victory, or is the pressure starting to mount?

                  SMACKDOWN PREVIEW

                  1) Score one for the heels
Last week, a huge 6-man tag match closed the show and involved 2 rivalries in one match. The unlikely team of Joseph T. Lutte, Quinn Cadbury and Eric Executioner actually found a way to pick up a big win over the fan favorite squad of Rebel Ford, Antonio Jordan and Krizz Torture. The G.L.O.W. team rebounded from the previous week's 0-for-2 effort while Eric continued to look strong. Rebel ended up taking the pinfall and finished the match bloody, which didn't look good for the World Heavyweight champ as he heads towards a title match with the narcissist and his creepy manager Mr. Black. Can Rebel find some way... any way... to prove to everyone that he still has a chance to retain his title?

                  2) Hitman strikes big
Last week, a title change took place as Hitman Jack earned his 1st ECW Title reign by defeating Craig Bullet in a great match. It's been a long road for Hitman as he has risen back up the ranks and is finally holding a strap again. With Craig busy this week (see below), what will Hitman do in his 1st week as champ?

                  3) Tag Team #1 Contender's Match
Despite Craig and Tony Bullet losing tough matches last week, including Craig's title loss to Hitman Jack (see above), the Bullet Boyz find themselves in a nice position to rise up the ranks in another division... the Tag Team ranks! The former 2-time Tag champs have been itching to get back in the thick of the Tag Team race, and somehow received a #1 Contender's match against Antonio Jordan and Krizz Torture this week. Can the Bullet Boyz put themselves right on track for a shot at G.L.O.W.'s title reign or can the American Cool duo remain the main threat to the Europeans?

                  4) Justice & Angus face their fears
In an announced tag match, Guy Justice and Angus will team up against Zach Wesley and Vincent Serum. Angus defeated Serum a few weeks ago while the "True Savior" outlasted Wesley on Superstars last week, but needed 2 Justice Lock submissions to do it. Can the "Mohawked Maniac" and the "Vicious Vampire" team up to get a little payback? Or will Justice and Mr. Money in the Bank, who still has yet to be defeated, find their own teamwork to score another win?

                    July Week 3 Updates

Check out the website for the most recent updates! It was a crazy week as we continued to get closer to the upcoming Night of Champions PPV. Raw saw a new U.S. #1 contender get determined in a highly-anticipated battle royal that even featured a shocking interference, while WWE champ Carson Pain, DMK and Gravedigger got involved in a parking lot brawl to end the show. Smackdown featured some insane moments, including a jaw-dropping interference in the Tag Team #1 Contenders match. Not only that, but Women's champ Eve was saved by World Heavyweight champ Rebel Ford to close the show, but find out what happened to lead up to that crowd-pleasing moment!

RAW PREVIEW - "GO HOME SHOW"

                      1) DMK and Carson fend off Gravedigger... but something doesn't feel right
To close Raw last week, Gravedigger made good on his promise and attacked WWE champ Carson Pain in the parking lot. But the "Graveyard Monster" failed to account for rival DMK, who came in and assisted Carson in sending 'Digger off frustrated due to another failed attempt. But despite their teamwork, a very strange staredown between DMK and Carson was the final image, suggesting a lack of trust between them. How will that play out this week as we inch closer to the WWE Title Triple Threat match between the 3 rivals at Night of Champions?

                      2) Renegade outlasts all to earn U.S. title shot
In the highly-anticipated battle royal to determine the new #1 contender for Big Mutha Trucker's U.S. Title, Renegade scored the final two eliminations and got a little help (see below) to win the match and earn the coveted title shot. The party animal and the "Resident Redneck" have had a brief history before, but the fans were behind Renegade the last time they met and it's clearly the opposite now. Can the fans' support for Trucker overcome Renegade's recent rise or will the party animal win his first U.S. title?

                      3) Midnight's jealousy boils over again
Speaking of the U.S. #1 contender battle royal match, an interesting development happened early in the match that led to the first elimination. Hardcore champ Shawn Midnight ventured down to the ring and basically caused the elimination of Mack Wheeler from the match... and then mercilessly beat up the "Human Semi"! Is "Daddy Mack" again letting his jealous nature cloud his judgment? How will Mack respond this week?

                      4) Lee again falls short; scheduled for final preview match
Cruiserweight champ Lee Money suffered another preview match loss last week, falling to former rival Dylan Dynamite. "Cash" seems like he is getting desperate as the Scramble match at the Night of Champions PPV approaches, but he still has 1 more preview match to go this week. Who will be the final entrant in the Scramble match and get a one-on-one shot with the champ this week?

SMACKDOWN PREVIEW - "GO HOME SHOW"

                      1) Rebel not going down easy
The crowd went wild at the end of the show last week as World Heavyweight champ Rebel Ford, despite obviously bloodied and weakened from a backstage beatdown, saved Women's champ Eve from a potentially-dangerous situation involving Eric Executioner and Mr. Black. It's clear that Rebel, despite the low odds of him successfully defending his World title against the aggressive narcissist and his creepy sidekick, is not going to make things easy... which is fine in the fans' eyes! Can Rebel find a way to faze his brutal challenger and/or his mysterious manager? Or can Eric and Mr. Black again raise doubts about the future of Rebel's reign?

                      2) The French master of disguise
In one of the more shocking moments as of late, the Tag Team #1 contender's match featured an decisive interference that had everyone's jaws on the floor. With the ref out, Joseph T. Lutte revealed himself as the timekeeper and nailed Krizz Torture with the ring bell. The shot allowed the Bullet Boyz to pick up the victory and become the new #1 contenders, while Intercontinental champ Antonio Jordan and partner Krizz were left down and out. How in the world did Joseph manage to disguise himself and turn the tide in the match? And I guess a bigger question is... why? How will Antonio and Krizz respond this week as it seems they are now temporarily out of the Tag Team title picture?

                      3) Hitman's quest to raise the bar
After defeating Billy Carter in his first match as the new ECW champ, Hitman Jack was approached for a quick interview in which he commented that he wanted to raise the prestige of the ECW Title. What does Hitman have in mind to bring the title back to respectable levels?

                      4) H.E.R.O. gets another European shot
Last week, rising rookie H.E.R.O. lost to Joseph T. Lutte in a hard-fought battle that was overshadowed by the confrontation between Rebel Ford and Eric Executioner. This week, H.E.R.O. gets another chance to score a win over a European Tag Team champ... this time, it's Quinn Cadbury! Can H.E.R.O. defeat the "English Gentleman" and get a little payback?

                        Hey guys,

Took a few days to update some of the wrestler profiles, specifically the Career Overview sections. I finished the Raw roster yesterday in case you are interested in reading those. I am currently updating the show results and will hopefully have those done by the end of the weekend. Next week, I will update the Smackdown roster profiles and update with the Night of Champions results. Stay tuned!

                          July Week 4 Updates

Check out the website for the most recent show updates, just days before the Night of Champions PPV! The Raw episode had several big matches, including a 6-man tag match that included the U.S. and Hardcore champs while WWE champ Carson Pain faced DMK in the main event... as suggested by rival Gravedigger? Find out how that match came to be! Then the blue brand of Smackdown held their final episode of the month, which featured some interesting developments. The Tag Team champion G.L.O.W. team each won singles matches this week, but find out how Krizz Torture played a role in both... and got escorted out by security! The show ended with a fierce promo regarding the upcoming World Heavyweight Title match between champ Rebel Ford and King of the Ring winner Eric Executioner, which left the fans buzzing for what might take place between them on Sunday's PPV! Read up on all the news!

                            Night of Champions PPV Preview

                            MATCH CARD PREVIEW

                            Cruiserweight Championship (Scramble Match):
Lee Money (C) vs. Anarchy vs. Dylan Dynamite vs. Rusty vs. Paulie Dominos

Five men will battle it out for the Cruiserweight Title in a Scramble-style match to open the show. Two men will begin, with another competitor entering every 2 minutes. Each fall makes a new temporary "champion", with the last person remaining as champion when the 15-minute time limit is up winning the match and the belt. Reigning champ Lee Money has held the belt for over 8 months, but this month has clearly been the roughest one so far. Raw GM Stephanie McMahon announced the Scramble match early in the month and scheduled 4 preview matches, giving each challenger a 1-on-1 opportunity against "Cash" each week. Lee struggled to gain any momentum, going only 1-3 against his 4 challengers, and has put his title reign in serious doubt. But Lee has survived many multiple-man title matches during his reign, so the odds may be in his favor to survive again. But with the Scramble rules in play, all it takes is one last-second pinfall or submission to win the match! Can Lee push his reign to a 9th month... or will we have a NEW Cruiserweight champ???

                            Hardcore Championship:
Shawn Midnight (C) vs. Mack Wheeler

Jealousy can be an ugly color on some... but Shawn Midnight tries to wear it well. Despite holding the Hardcore Title for nearly 3 months, Shawn didn't like losing to Mack in a qualifying match for the U.S. #1 contender battle royal. In response, Shawn waited for his moment to strike back... and did so in the battle royal itself! Shawn assisted in eliminating Mack from the match, ruining the chances of a title shot for the "Human Semi", and then viciously assaulted him at ringside. A confrontation the following week created this title match, and this sudden rivalry already seems to be heating up. Can Shawn prove himself again and overcome the fast-rising Mack, or will the "Human Semi" pick up his first title victory on Raw?

                            United States Championship:
Big Mutha Trucker (C) vs. Renegade

In a strange turn of events over the past year, Trucker and Renegade will meet in a title match at the Night of Champions PPV again... but this time, the roles have bee reversed! Last year, Renegade as WWE champ and fan favorite defeated challenger and hated heel Trucker. This year... it's Trucker with a belt and the fan support, while the party animal continues to rub people the wrong way. Renegade won the U.S. #1 contender battle royal to earn this title shot, and Trucker picked up the decisive pinfall in a huge 6-man tag match against Renegade's team on the "go home" show. Can the "Resident Redneck" score a major win in this renewed rivalry or can Renegade continue his dominant streak... and win his first U.S. title?

                            Unified Tag Team Championship:
                            G.L.O.W. (C) vs. Bullet Boyz

A shocking moment made this match come to be, and according to one person its price was "worth every penny". The American Cool team and the European duo of Joseph T. Lutte and Quinn Cadbury has been feuding for months, but the Tag champs retained the belts at the previous PPV. A #1 contender's match was made between American Cool and the Bullet Boyz, but during the match, Lutte revealed himself to be the disguised bellkeeper and used the ring bell to interfere, causing a loss for Antonio Jordan and Krizz Torture. That put the Bullet Boyz in direct line for a Tag Team title shot and the G.L.O.W.'s rivals on the outside looking in. Joseph revealed that he had "called in a favor" to the American Cool trio, and Intercontinental champ Antonio vowed that he would do something in retaliation. Could that be during this match? Will the arrogant Europeans overcome the former 2-time Tag champs... or will the 2-time champs become THREE-time champs?

                            WWE Championship (Triple Threat Match):
Carson Pain (C) vs. DMK vs. Gravedigger

The top title on Raw will be defended in a very heated 3-way bout, where it seems you can't trust anyone. Gravedigger's victory over DMK at the King of the Ring PPV made him a legit challenger, but DMK is still owed a title match due to 'Digger's interference back at the Extreme Rules PPV. That leaves WWE champ Carson in a precarious predicament, facing 2 angry behemoths bent on destroying each other... and taking his title! Carson and DMK have tried to show respect for each other lately, but 'Digger keeps throwing out reminders of their brutal history, which has obviously led to a distrust between them. On the "go home" show, 'Digger convinced them to have a match in which DMK seemed poised to win but seemed remorseful over his overly-aggressive actions. 'Digger took that opportunity to attack him with a steel chair and the "Graveyard Monster" stood tall again. Will 'Digger achieve his goal and destroy both men and claim the title? Can DMK finally reclaim the belt after a months-long battle? Or will Carson find a way... some way... any way... to survive and walk out with the belt?

                            World Heavyweight Championship:
Rebel Ford (C) vs. Eric Executioner

This match was made as soon as the King of the Ring PPV ended last month. Rebel retained the belt in a mixed-tag match, while Eric (with the creepy Mr. Black in support) finished an impressive run and won the King of the Ring Tournament Final and earned a title shot. But despite this match being declared early, that didn't stop Eric and Mr. Black from trying to make life hell for Rebel and Women's champ Eve. Eric viciously attacked Rebel multiple times, frightened and threatened Eve and caused the World champ to take the losing pinfall in a 6-man tag match. Rebel wants to know why Eric and Mr. Black are making this personal and not just about the title, but the ever-mysterious duo still aren't saying much. The narcissist has been dangerous, aggressive and downright scary since he's formed this alliance with Mr. Black, and it's clear now that winning back the World Title has been the goal all along. But is that their only goal, or do they have more sinister plans in mind? The odds seem to be stacked against him, but Rebel seems determined to overcome this uphill battle and walk out with the belt still in hand. Who will claim Smackdown's top prize - the narcissistic wrecking ball or the revolutionary fan favorite?

                                August Week 1 Previews

                                RAW PREVIEW

                                1) Carson survives... but at what cost?
After a crazy Night of Champions PPV, WWE champ Carson Pain was the only one to leave with his own title... and his situation seemed the most dire! But "The Original" found a way to claim victory, smacking a chair across DMK's face and covering Gravedigger for the pinfall to retain the title. Carson seemed like he had gone through hell to win the match, but things got worse when David Degenerate returned... and attacked him with a lead pipe! The "Dangerous Genius" and Carson have a deep rivalry history, but what are David's plans? Plus, DMK and Gravedigger can't be pleased that they couldn't get out of each other's way in the title match. How will things play out between these 4 competitors tonight on Raw?

                                2) The party animal gets nasty to win gold
A new U.S. champion was crowned at Night of Champions, as Renegade needed 3 finishers to finally put down Big Mutha Trucker and claim his 1st U.S. title reign. But winning the match by a bare thread wasn't enough for the party animal! After medical personnel tried to help Trucker, Renegade attacked his rival viciously after the match. The new champ has seemed a bit unhinged lately, which doesn't sound good for anybody. But Trucker's been known to be a resilient one, so expect a little payback from the "Resident Redneck".

                                3) The "Hardcore Semi"?
Mack Wheeler has had an impressive run since he got drafted to Raw at the beginning of Year 3, but he finally reached an actual accomplishment at Night of Champions... winning the Hardcore Title! The "Human Semi" took Shawn Midnight's best shots and dished back some punishment of his own, ending the bout with a vicious Speeding Semi spear to win the match and the title. Midnight can't hold back his jealousy, which means he's going to come back in a big way soon. But now that Mack has finally proven he can win a big one, will Midnight's response even matter?

                                4) A new debut?
Rumors have been flying around about the sightings of an elderly Japanese man, who apparently is looking for something or someone. Could these rumors come true tonight?

                                SMACKDOWN PREVIEW

                                1) Eric wins... and Mr. Black speaks
The main event of the Night of Champions PPV featured a heated World Heavyweight Title match between Rebel Ford and King of the Ring Tournament winner Eric Executioner. Despite Rebel's never-quit attitude, Eric proved to be too much to handle and the narcissist captured his 3rd World Title. After the match, Mr. Black ordered an extra attack on Rebel and had the Philly crowd burning with anger. Tonight, it has been announced that Eric and Mr. Black will address the fans for the first time. These last few months of silent destruction have been difficult to watch... what could Mr. Black and the new champ have to finally say? And of course, how will Rebel respond after losing his title?

                                2) Antonio the cameraman shocks the Europeans
In a clever plan of payback, Intercontinental champ Antonio Jordan disguised himself as a cameraman during the Tag Team Title match between G.L.O.W. and the Bullet Boyz, clocking Quinn Cadbury with the heavy camera. His interference and Craig Bullet's Law Breaker splash put the finishing touches on the Europeans' Tag Title reign, as the Bullet Boyz claimed their 3rd reign as champs. Smackdown GM Teddy Long warned Antonio and his American Cool friends that there would be repercussions if any of them interfered in the match, so expect some big developments to occur. Could Antonio's Intercontinental Title be in jeopardy?

                                3) Rusty steals a last-second pin, last-second title win
In the Cruiserweight Title Scramble match, Rusty scored a pinfall with only 20 seconds left and held on to claim his 3rd run with the belt. The "2 Xtreme" superfan ended Lee Money's 266-day reign and proved once again that he is the king of the high-flyers. Will "Cash" respond this week after dropping the belt in such narrow fashion?

                                4) Guy Justice begins his journey
On the final Smackdown of July, Guy Justice defeated Billy Carter and got on the mic to promote his journey for "Truth". The "True Savior" even invited Billy to join him, but the "Canadian Bomber" refused the offer. What does Guy mean by his search for "Truth", and how will that affect the Smackdown brand?
