    December Week 4 Previews

RAW PREVIEW - "GO HOME" SHOW

    1) Mack worrying the WWE Champ?
Last week in Raw's main event, David Degenerate and #1 contender Mack Wheeler faced off in a non-title matchup. The WWE champ clearly did not take his opponent seriously, and it cost him! The "Human Semi" dominated the match and seemed poised to win after delivering his finishing spear and trying a pin, but Mr. McMahon interfered and David lost by DQ. Mack then demanded an official title match and requested the Tables, Ladders & Chairs stipulation. Raw GM Stephanie McMahon honored the request on the big screen, so the "Dangerous Genius" might need to re-calibrate for his new challenger!

    2) Gravedigger draws first blood
The "Graveyard Monster" came out and explained his actions from the previous week, when he attacked Carson Pain mid-match and helped Mack retain his #1 contender spot. 'Digger was not fond of Carson receiving multiple chances at recapturing the WWE Title, and vowed to end the "broken shell of a man" in a PPV match! Carson came down to reply and accused Gravedigger of being the one behind the vehicular attack on DMK, but the "Monster" denied that and claimed it to be a "cowardly" action. 'Digger offended "The Original" by claiming that DMK was a much stronger person, and a brawl broke out! In the end, it was 'Digger standing tall with Carson bleeding from the forehead. How will Carson respond this week, and will anything more be added to their upcoming PPV match?

    3) Brett & Renegade agreed to a U.S. Title clash
Last week, Renegade officially issued a challenge to U.S. champ Brett Diamond, demanding a rematch from their title clash back at Judgment Day. But to make things more interesting, the "Party Animal" wanted to battle in a Table match! The "Professional" agreed, but pal Beth Phoenix thought that it was not a great idea. Brett and Renegade haven't really had much interaction, so it will interesting to see what happens in the buildup to their PPV title bout!

    4) Two title matches scheduled for this week
Raw will feature 2 title matches this week just a few days before the Tables, Ladders & Chairs PPV. Tag Team champs Alpha & Omega were attacked twice by the Bullet Boyz last week, demanding a title rematch! Will the Japanese luchadors be able to rally and retain, or were the multiple attacks enough to weaken them? In other news, Hardcore champ Tank Blazer issued an open challenge for his title and former hockey player Corey Youngblood answered the call! The "Captain" will defend his belt on Monday's show, making two title bouts for Raw!

SMACKDOWN PREVIEW - "GO HOME" SHOW

    1) A weakened World champ... or playing possum?
World Heavyweight champ Eric Executioner and his manager Mr. Black have had arguably their worst month every since they've joined forces, and that trend continued last week. The 3 challengers for Eric's title - Ace, Antonio Jordan & Rebel Ford - all teamed up to defeat Eric's 3-man squad last week in a big main event. But after the match, Eric & Mr. Black were seen laughing strangely despite just suffering yet another loss. Is the sinister duo planning something, or are they hiding something up their sleeve? All 3 challengers have worked well together so far, but what will happen at the PPV when they have to battle each other in hopes of ending Eric's reign? This week could give us an indication of that, but it could depend on if Eric & Mr. Black have something to change the course of this month's buildup!

    2) Guy Justice hosts Angus & Joseph
Another edition of "In Search of Truth" featuring Guy Justice as host will be on this week's episode of Smackdown, with two special guests... Angus and Joseph T. Lutte! The feuding rivals have had altercations over the Money in the Bank briefcase, and last week had a brutal Falls Count Anywhere battle. What will the European foes have to say, and will Justice's controversial segment play any role in their rivalry?

    3) Eve steals the #1 contender spot
Eve Torres made a surprising return to Smackdown a few weeks ago, and shocked everyone more by turning heel and betraying Audrey Vega. Last week, a Triple Threat #1 contender's match between Eve, Audrey and Michelle McCool got really intense and violent. A sledgehammer was the weapon of choice for all 3 ladies, and Eve received the brunt of most of the match's carnage! In the end, Michelle McCool appeared ready to win the match after hitting her finisher on Audrey, but Eve recovered and stole the win! To make things worse, Eve attacked Audrey after the match! Now with Eve in line to face Jersey Jenny for the Women's Title, but her rivalry with Audrey still brewing, it will be interesting to see what develops just days away from the PPV!

    4) Hitman & H.E.R.O. score a big win
The H-Squared duo put an impressive beatdown on Parker & Coop en route to a big victory to open last week's show. Their commitment to improving their teamwork seems to be working, and it could lead to bigger and better things. Possibly a Tag Team Title shot in the near future?

The Slammy Awards voting is now closed! Thank you to all who voted, and if you didn't but still follow the Universe, thank you for your time and interest! The award winners will be announced during this week's show results!

A title match scheduled for Sunday's PPV became a Triple Threat by the end of the show, and a Ladder match for the Money in the Bank briefcase was also made! The final Slammy Award was given out at the beginning of the show too. But beyond all that, the main event of the show had some major shocking moments that left both the crowd and the match participants in confused, shocked faces. An unlikely new alliance was made, while the 3 World Heavyweight Title challengers were forced to face each other for the first time. TLC PPV Preview

          MATCH CARD PREVIEW

          United States Championship (Tables Match):
          Brett Diamond {C} vs. Renegade

The feud between the "Professional" and the "Party Animal" has been odd over the past 2 months. In October, Brett won a Beat-the-Clock Challenge to become the new #1 contender and then upset Renegade at the Judgment Day PPV to claim the U.S. Title. Since then, the strange behavior of Renegade has only gotten stranger. He appears out of nowhere, stumbles over his words, makes vague threats and even violently ended his alliance with Lee Money. Brett on the other hand, has remained calm in the face of his rival's weirdness, and even supported "Cash" after Renegade's betrayal. The wild former champ finally issued a rematch challenge, and requested to make it a Table match! The "Professional" agreed, setting up the PPV's opening match. Can Brett overcome Renegade's crazy antics and keep his title, or is the "Party Animal" going to surprise everyone and take back the belt?

Ladder Match (for the Money in the Bank briefcase):
          Angus vs. Joseph T. Lutte

For 9 months, Angus has held the Money in the Bank briefcase and has showed no indications of using it soon. The coveted contract expires at the next WrestleMania, which is looming closer than you think. But the lack of action by the "Irish Giant" has drawn the ire of another European, Joseph T. Lutte! The "Fantastic Frenchman" has struggled lately, still reeling from his feud with Quinn Cadbury. Joseph questioned Angus' possession of the briefcase, viewing him as wasting the opportunity. In a backstage altercation this month, Joseph attacked Angus and tried to steal the briefcase! But luckily, the "Irish Giant" recovered just in time and grabbed his rival, slamming him through a catering table. After a brutal Falls Count Anywhere match in which Angus won, they agreed to settle their differences during Guy Justice's "In Search of Truth" talk segment. Joseph challenged Angus to a Ladder match, with the prized contract on the line! The "Irish Giant" agreed, setting up a very interesting battle for Sunday's PPV. Will Angus keep his unbeaten streak alive and figure out how/when to use the briefcase, or will the 3-time Intercontinental champ earn another guaranteed title shot... and go for the big gold belt?

          First Blood Match:
          Carson Pain vs. Gravedigger

Ever since Gravedigger was forced to switch over to the Raw, he has been on a vicious mission to destroy the red brand's fan favorites. First, he took on DMK in a lengthy, violent feud. Although he failed in his quest to defeat the "King", his ire then turned to another top superstar... Carson Pain! During his feud with DMK, 'Digger also earned multiple chances to capture the WWE Title from Carson, but wasn't able to reach that goal as well. But after Carson lost the title (due to controversy), "The Original" received multiple chances to reclaim the belt. The "Graveyard Monster" disappeared for a month and a half, supposedly watching the developments from afar. Witnessing Carson get several shots at the WWE Title angered 'Digger, and he returned during a #1 contender's match this month to attack Carson and ruin his chance to get another WWE Title match. The next week, Gravedigger explained his actions and Carson initiated a brawl, but it was "The Original" left busted open! During a Slammy Awards segment, Gravedigger indicated his pleasure in causing Carson to bleed and requested that their PPV match become a First Blood match! Will Carson be able to overcome the angry "Monster" and make him bleed, or can 'Digger again find a way to put the crimson mask on his rival?

          Women's Championship (Triple Threat Match):
Jersey Jenny {C} vs. Eve vs. Audrey Vega

Entering September, Eve Torres was the reigning Women's champ but has suffered major trauma as a part of Rebel Ford & Eric Executioner's World Heavyweight Title feud. She had been kidnapped, threatened and basically became a pawn in the vicious game. In a Women's Title defense days after Summerslam, Eric & his sinister manager Mr. Black appeared to distract her which allowed rookie Jersey Jenny to take advantage and win the title! Distraught, Eve decided to take a leave of absence and ended her relationship with Rebel Ford. This month, she returned as a surprise partner for Audrey Vega in a tag team match against Jenny & Michelle McCool. But mid-match, Eve abandoned Audrey and turned heel! A week later, she won a #1 contender's match to earn a Women's Title shot! But Audrey had been feuding with Jenny for a while, and desperately wanted to get a chance at the gold as well. After upsetting the champ days before the PPV, she turned the title match into a 3-way battle! With so much animosity between all 3 ladies, it will be exciting to see who will emerge as Smackdown's top female!

          World Heavyweight Championship
          (Fatal 4-Way TLC Match):
Eric Executioner {C} vs. Rebel Ford vs. Antonio Jordan vs. Ace

The developments involved in the buildup to this match were absolutely jaw-dropping, and this Sunday's match has unlimited potential. Eric Executioner had been dominating the World Title scene since winning the belt at Night of Champions, including beating & injuring Rebel Ford and overcoming Ace and Antonio Jordan in separate PPV title defenses. But on the first Smackdown of the month, Triple H came as a guest of Rebel Ford to announce the firing of GM Teddy Long and the installation of "The Game" as the interim GM! Triple H was also going to announce a title match, but Eric angrily started a brawl with Ace and Antonio. A supposedly-injured Rebel was also there, but he removed his foot brace and used a crutch to smash over Eric's head, revealing that he was finally healthy! Triple H announced a 4-way Tables, Ladders & Chairs match as punishment for Eric & Mr. Black's illegal payments to Teddy, setting him his most difficult challenge yet. Rebel, Ace and Antonio worked on friendly terms through most of the month, but Eric & Mr. Black tricked them into facing each other just days before the PPV. Antonio came out on top in that match, but another big development occurred during the match as well... Eve aligned herself with Mr. Black! The Women's #1 contender shocked former boyfriend Rebel Ford, leading to his elimination in the main event battle. There's so much going on in this match, that no one can truly predict who will come out on top. With the odds against Eric, is there any way for him to retain again? But although the 3 challengers are committed to ending Eric's reign, only 1 of them can emerge as the possible new champion. What is going to happen???

          WWE Championship (TLC Match):
David Degenerate {C} vs. Mack Wheeler

To close out the show, the newest WWE Title rivalry will have the fans watching closely. Former Hardcore champ Mack won a #1 contender's battle royal at the beginning of the month, setting up a future showdown with the "Dangerous Genius". David brushed off the new threat, even agreeing to a match with the "Human Semi" on Raw. To everyone's surprise including the champ, Mack dominated the match and appeared ready to win... until Mr. McMahon interfered to cause a DQ! Mack was angered by the WWE Chairman's action, and challenged David to a TLC match! Raw GM Stephanie McMahon scheduled the bout, and the following week, Mack did pin David in a Tornado tag match just days before Sunday's PPV! The "Human Semi" has all the momentum heading into this match, but David has Mr. McMahon in his corner and several past wins in matches like these. Will David's cowardly reign finally come to an end, or will Mack complete a life-long dream and win Raw's top prize?

              RAW PREVIEW

              1) The "Little Hellraiser" fulfills an unwelcome promise
Eight months ago, Anarchy engaged in a losing feud against Mack Wheeler and rookie Big Juan Santos, two of Raw's largest & strongest grapplers. After falling way short, Anarchy vowed that he would ruin a future chance for Mack, which the "Human Semi" laughed off at the time. But at last night's Tables, Ladders & Chairs PPV, it was no laughing matter! After tipping a ladder and sending WWE champ David Degenerate crashing through 2 stacked tables, it appeared that Mack was going to win the match and the historic title. But just as Mack was going to reach up and unsnap the belt, the "Little Hellraiser" jumped the barricade seemingly out of nowhere, climbed the ladder and pulled Mack off, smashing him through a setup table! Anarchy then helped David wake up, and the "Dangerous Genius" climbed the ladder to retrieve his title. It was a shocking ending to an incredible PPV, but there are so many questions that need to be addressed. But the biggest question has to be... Why, Anarchy, why???

              2) Renegade's risk pays off
Last night's PPV opened with a great Table match for the U.S. Title between Renegade and champ Brett Diamond in a rematch from their battle back in October. In a controversial finish, the two rivals were fighting on the top turnbuckle when Renegade pulled Brett off, and both men crashed through a table simultaneously. The match official ruled that Brett touched the table only a split second before Renegade did, and gave the "Party Animal" the win and the title! Renegade's erratic behavior over the past few months has appeared to be a hindrance, but his risky move somehow gave him a huge victory! Will the controversial ending be addressed, and will the "Professional" aim for his own rematch?

              3) Trucker stops the "Captain"
Days before the PPV, Hardcore champ Tank Blazer defended his belt in an open challenge against Corey Youngblood and won a brutal battle. But after the match, the "Captain" attacked the former hockey player, adding salt into the wound. But before major damage could be done, Big Mutha Trucker raced down to the ring to save Youngblood! Tank took off before Trucker could get his hands on him, but the former allies are obviously heading for a clash. The big question is... will the 4-time Hardcore champ be looking to re-join the WWE's extreme division?

              4) Raw's woman rivalry and the successful Tag Team champs
In other news, Divas champ Brittany Black and Beth Phoenix have been feuding for months but the "Glamazon" hasn't had her due rematch yet. Is that title bout upcoming soon? The reigning Tag Team champs, Alpha & Omega, were successful in defending their titles last week on Raw, beating the Bullet Boyz soundly. What's next for the high-flying duo and their elder mentor Master Kimoto?

              SMACKDOWN PREVIEW

              1) The "Narcissist" survives again in an awesome match
In what could be a Match of the Year candidate, Eric Executioner defended his World Heavyweight Title in a 4-way Tables, Ladders & Chairs match against Ace, Antonio Jordan and Rebel Ford. There were crazy spots, close calls, blood and everything you could ask for from a great title match. But in the end, Eric shoved Antonio off the top of the ladder and unhooked the belt to retain his title again, making it his 5th title defense and 4th PPV win in a row. If Eric can keep his title in a 4-way war, who could possibly challenge the sinister champ and his creepy manager Mr. Black?

              2) Eve outlasts the rookies to reclaim her title
In a Triple Threat match for the Women's Title, Eve Torres outlasted champ Jersey Jenny and rival Audrey Vega to win back the belt she lost back in September. It was a great match, but the use of a steel chair is what turned the tide. Eve's recent turn as a heel and her alignment with Mr. Black could spell doom for the Smackdown females. How will the rookies respond to the loss, and have we just entered a long title run for the newest champ?

              3) Mr. Money in the Bank keeps the briefcase
In a great Ladder match between two European rivals, Angus used the same sledgehammer he used to defeat Joseph T. Lutte earlier in the month to put a final beatdown on his foe, and then snatched the coveted Money in the Bank briefcase just seconds before Joseph tried to stop him. The win kept the unbeaten streak alive for the "Irish Giant" and allowed him to retain possession of the coveted contract. Now that he's defended the briefcase, the obvious question is... when will he use it? And after another high-profile loss, what's next for the "Fantastic Frenchman"?

              4) Quinn's many enemies and a dominating ECW champ
Despite not having a match at the most recent PPV, Intercontinental champ Quinn Cadbury has shown a knack for making enemies very quickly. His feud with Antonio Jordan seems to be developing, while he has also recently had run-ins with Ace. With both of those men likely angry after losing chances at the World Title, could Quinn's belt be their next focus? In other news, ECW champ Hitman Jack just passed the 6-month mark on his title reign and looked very impressive in a dominating win over new rookie Jester Price last week. The reign of the "Lethal Canadian" doesn't look like it's ending any time soon, and his partnership with H.E.R.O. appears to be getting stronger by the week. Could the H-Squared duo be looking for another shot at the Tag Team Titles soon?

                    RAW PREVIEW

                    1) David did it... and is going to "Hell" for it!
To open Raw last week, GM Stephanie McMahon welcomed private investigator Pete Johnson to reveal his findings from his investigation into the attack on DMK after the Judgment Day PPV. As it turned out, it was WWE champ David Degenerate! The "Dangerous Genius" claimed he was following Mr. McMahon's advice to "eliminate all competitors", and Stephanie was disgusted with his actions. She was going to strip him of the WWE Title, but according to Inv. Johnson, DMK requested no "extraordinary" punishments. Instead, Stephanie scheduled a hardcore-style main event for David against 4-time Hardcore champ and rival Big Mutha Trucker. During the main event, Tank Blazer attacked the "Resident Redneck" but Trucker demolished a resilient WWE champ to win the bloody battle. After the match, Stephanie appeared again and announced his next title defense... a 3 Stages of Hell match against Mack Wheeler at the Royal Rumble! An Extreme Rules, Tables and Cage match awaits David against the angry "Human Semi", who destroyed Anarchy in a vicious Cage match last week as well. Will David be able to find a way to survive this month as champ? Or is Mack going to end the controversial reign of the "Genius"?

                    2) Renegade's gone insane... I think?
New U.S. champ Renegade won back the title in controversial circumstances at the last PPV, and he faced Travis Roarke in a normal match last week. But still, the "Party Animal" still turned the match into an exercise in craziness! Renegade smashed the "Assassin" through the announce table, brawled with an interfering Brett Diamond and even attacked the referee! He won the match despite Travis' impressive resiliency, but the insanity didn't stop there. He was confronted by Lee Money later in the show, who tried to talk some sense into his former friend. But instead, the U.S. champ got offended and challenged "Cash" to a match for this week! Is Renegade's erratic behavior due to a mental condition, substance abuse problem... or is it all part of the plan?

                    3) 'Digger eyes the Rumble
Gravedigger, brewing with confidence after his First Blood win over Carson Pain at the last PPV, vowed to win the Royal Rumble in order to give himself a much-desired WWE Title shot. Each week this month, Gravedigger has scheduled open 4-man battle royal challenges to anyone who dares to try and beat him. His first challenge was a success, with the "Graveyard Monster" last eliminating Big Juan Santos to win the match. Who will step between the ropes this week against the determined and scary 'Digger?

                    4) A new Hardcore Title feud, the "Glamazon" preps and other news
Big Mutha Trucker appears to be eyeing a return to the division he dominated for nearly 2 years, especially after beating the WWE champ in a hardcore-style main event. He saved Corey Youngblood from a vicious post-match beatdown by current champ Tank Blazer 2 weeks ago, and the "Captain" responded last week by interfering in the main event! Are the former tag partners heading for a clash? In other news, Beth Phoenix is scheduled to face Melina this week on Raw. The "Glamazon" had been feuding with Divas champ Brittany Black since the rookie beat her in October, but a title rematch has yet to take place. And finally, Tag Team champs Alpha & Omega may be getting new challengers soon, especially after seeing the myriad of tag team battles last week on Smackdown. Who will emerge as the Japanese duo's newest threat?

                    SMACKDOWN PREVIEW

                    1) A "Giant" cash-in!
In what might be the most shocking moment of the year already, Angus cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase last week, ruining Eric Executioner's title celebration, and defeated the "Narcissist" in a good battle to become the NEW World Heavyweight Champion! The "Irish Giant" had just defended the coveted contract in a Ladder match at last month's PPV, and decided to cash it in only 5 days later! Eric and Mr. Black were absolutely stunned when Angus came out, and were even more stunned when he won! Eric's reign of terror over Smackdown has come to a crashing halt, but the angry "Narcissist" and his sinister manager will likely have something to say this week!

                    2) Quinn's big mouth angers Ace
Intercontinental champ Quinn Cadbury is an arrogant prick, and he always manages to say the wrong thing to wrong guy. Last week, Ace was leaving the arena after winning a tag match with Rebel Ford and accidentally crossed paths with the "English Gentleman". Long story short - a few insults led to a match for this upcoming week! Ace is still angry from losing his shot at the World Heavyweight Title, but the 2-time Intercontinental champ could easily turn his attention back to a familiar title!

                    3) The tag team scene heats up
Smackdown was the home of 2 great tag matches last week, and it seems that the next challengers for Alpha & Omega's Tag Team Titles could come from the blue brand! Ace & Rebel Ford make an unlikely pairing, but they looked impressive in beating Parker & Coop. The Bullet Boyz infuriated American Cool with insults, but Antonio Jordan & Krizz Torture got the last laugh by winning a match later in the show. Not only that, but Hitman Jack & H.E.R.O. have also been looking to climb the tag ranks. That makes 5 teams just from Smackdown in the title hunt, so it will be interesting to see who emerges as top dog!

                    4) Eve earns the approval of Mr. Black and Zach dominates the Cruiserweight champ
In other news, new Women's champ Eve Torres received a warm reception from new manager Mr. Black during last week's show. He invited her to Eric's title celebration, but she declined and Mr. Black offered to show her some appreciation at a later date. Also, the "Mohawked Maniac" looked unstoppable in a big win over Cruiserweight champ Rusty. The champ had no answers for Wesley, and suffered a tough loss to open the show. Will Rusty be looking for a little payback, or has Zach revealed a new aggressive streak?

                          RAW PREVIEW

                          1) David suffers the pin again
WWE champ David Degenerate has had a rough month, and his misery continued last week. David & Mr. McMahon tried to convince Raw GM Stephanie McMahon to back down from the 3 Stages of Hell match she scheduled for the Royal Rumble PPV, but the "Billion-Dollar Princess" refused to change her mind. Instead, she made a big tag team main event pitting David & Hardcore champ Tank Blazer against rivals Mack Wheeler & Big Mutha Trucker! It was a hard-hitting show closer, but in the end, the "Human Semi" speared and pinned the WWE champ again! As the weeks go by, it seems more and more likely that the "Dangerous Genius" will have a hard time surviving 3 rounds with Mack at the next PPV. Will David find a way to recover before it's too late, or is the momentum riding high in Mack's favor?

                          2) Renegade bends the rules... and then breaks them anyway
U.S. champ Renegade had a grudge match against former pal Lee Money last week, and went about trying to inflict as much damage as possible without earning a DQ loss. He tossed "Cash" into the steel steps, smashed him through the announce table and was basically a wild animal throughout the match. It appeared like he was okay winning by countout with Lee seemingly knocked out in the announce table debris. But when "Cash" rose up and slid back into the ring, Renegade lost his mind and decided the smack his foe with the steel steps in plain view of the official, earning a DQ loss anyway. Brett Diamond ran down to prevent more damage to Lee, but Renegade dashed out before the two could have an encounter. It seems like the "Party Animal" and the "Professional" are heading for another title bout, but it has just to be officially scheduled. What's going to happen this week?

                          3) A "Badass" Hardcore feud
Big Mutha Trucker & Tank Blazer used to be close allies when the Badass Coalition stable was wreaking havoc on Raw over a year ago, including winning 2 Tag Team Titles together. But lately, it appears their friendship has turned into a fierce and violent rivalry. Trucker stopped Tank from a post-match attack after defending his Hardcore Title last month, and the "Captain" interfered in Trucker's main event battle with David 2 weeks ago. Last week, they were on opposing teams in the tag main event and Trucker's team came out on top. Their feud builds more and more each week, and the question remains... will the 4-time Hardcore champ be interested in returning the division he dominated for two years?

                          4) Brittany & Beth set up a match, Gravedigger dominates again and the strange vignettes
Last week, Divas champ Brittany Black decided to observe the show-opening match between rival Beth Phoenix and Melina, but things went off the rails quickly. Beth taunted the "Evil Diva" throughout the match, and Brittany pal Maryse came down to cause a distraction mid-match! Afterwards, Brittany and Beth agreed to face each other for the title at the Royal Rumble PPV! In other news, Gravedigger was successful again in his battle royal challenge, this time outlasting 3 Smackdown grapplers. Who dares to take on the "Graveyard Monster" this week? And finally, strange vignettes have been playing midway through the last 2 shows. What do they signify?

                          SMACKDOWN PREVIEW

                          1) Angus has an interesting first show as World champ
New World Heavyweight champ Angus opened the show last week, and the usually-quiet "Irish Giant" voiced his appreciation for the fans' support. He was interrupted by a very angry Eric Executioner, and his manager Mr. Black demanded a title rematch right then. But GM Triple H stepped in before any altercation, offering a title rematch for the Royal Rumble. Suspecting that Eric & Mr. Black might try something, "The Game" threatened suspicion if they attacked Angus outside the sanctions of a match. Angus was upset over Hunter's decision, claiming his desire to be a fighting champion. Triple H then offered to let him team up with Cruiserweight champ Rusty in the show's main event, and the "Giant" accepted. In the show-closing match, Rusty surprisingly pinned Joseph T. Lutte to help Angus & himself beat Joseph & Zach Wesley. Meanwhile, Eric defeated Guy Justice in a great match earlier so both rivals are clearly on their game. What's going to happen next between Eric and Angus, and can the "Narcissist" control his aggressive urges and hold off on any unwarranted attacks?

                          2) Ace scores a win over the Intercontinental champ... again
Ace took on Quinn Cadbury last week in a non-title match after a war of words the previous week, similar to how they met up in November. Despite slightly different circumstances, the result was still the same: the "Ultimate Superstar" pinned the arrogant champion! Ace may be a little focused on his new tag team (see below) but the former 2-time Intercontinental champ could also be interested in ending Quinn's cocky reign.

                          3) The Tag Team Title race heats up
The race for the #1 contender spot for Alpha & Omega's Tag Team Titles continues, with Smackdown holding nearly all the battling tag teams. Last week, the H-Squared team of Hitman Jack & H.E.R.O. beat the Bullet Boyz and a match between American Cool and Rebel Ford & Ace was made for next week... with the #1 contender spot potentially on the line! The fans will have a tough time deciding who to cheer for in that match, but will Hitman & H.E.R.O. have a legit claim to a title shot as well?

                          4) Eve's possible trouble with her new allies
Eric & Mr. Black may be rightfully focused on the World Title scene since Eric's shocking loss, but their female ally is also interested in having some support as well. Women's champ Eve Torres tried to check in on Eric, but Mr. Black seemed very vague in his response. Former champ Jersey Jenny then dropped in, offending Eve and questioning her new partnership with the sinister duo. As a result, Eve & Jenny agreed to a mixed-tag match this upcoming week involving Eric and Jenny's brother Paulie Dominos. Will Eve and Eric be able to find common ground and defeat the Jersey Family... or has J.J. discovered a kink in the Mr. Black system?

January Week 3 Raw & Superstars Results

Another week closer to the Royal Rumble, and another Raw shaking things up! Mr. McMahon played a big role in the shaping of this week's show, choosing 2 of the 4 matches and assigning one person in particular to participate in Gravedigger's 3rd battle royal challenge. The WWE champ changed the outcome of one of those matches, while he participated in the other. But why was David Degenerate & Mr. McMahon then running away at the end of the show? Also, the Divas Title match for the Royal Rumble added a big stipulation, a title match was made for next week's Raw and the U.S. Title rivalry became more violent! Don't miss these updates as the Rumble inches closer!

Another Friday Night Smackdown, another week closer to the Royal Rumble! The blue brand fielded a hot show from Orlando this week, and there's definitely some developments to pay close attention to! We have new #1 contenders for the Tag Team Titles, although a controversial interference seemed to change the match's outcome. Mr. Black's clients had to team up for the first time in a mixed-tag match, but they were clearly not on the same page. And in the main event, the new World Heavyweight Champion was scheduled for a one-on-one bout... but his unbeaten streak was nearly overcome! You gotta dig into these updates before the "go home" show next week!

RAW PREVIEW - "GO HOME SHOW"

                                1) David angers the "Human Semi"
When you have a hungry, beastly #1 contender gunning for you, the last thing you probably want to do is provoke him. But WWE champ David Degenerate apparently decided to ignore that advice last week, and he's likely going to be expected to pay for it this week... and the following Sunday at the Royal Rumble! Last week, Mack Wheeler was assigned a Handicap match against Parker & Coop at the behest of Mr. McMahon, and surprisingly seemed poised to beat the Olympic duo. But David ventured down to the ring to cause a distraction, and an angry "Human Semi" decided to attack his rival intruder! The problem was... David was hoping for Mack to go after him! As a result, Mack lost track of the match in progress and got counted out! The cowardly champion escaped and laughed at his challenger, making Mack even more furious. Later in the show, David had a more-difficult-than-expected main event match against Anarchy, the man that helped him beat man at last month's PPV. Following the match, Mack ran down to confront the "Dangerous Genius" but again David escaped. These two rivals are likely going to collide this week before they face off in an insane 3 Stages of Hell match at the Rumble!

                                2) U.S. Title feud boils over
The feud between Renegade and Brett Diamond over the U.S. Title has had some odd twists and turns, but last week their rivalry took a big intense leap when they brawled backstage! Lee Money and the backstage crew had to break them up, but these two are clearly not ready to settle their differences! With another title bout coming at the Royal Rumble, the "Professional" and the erratic champ might need to be separated again just days before the PPV!

                                3) The "Glamazon" scales a ladder and issues a challenge
Last week, Divas champ Brittany Black defeated Melina on Raw but the biggest news happened after the match. Beth Phoenix came out onto the stage with a ladder, and climbed up to the top to address her rival. The "Glamazon" issued a challenge for their upcoming title match... make it a Ladder match! The "Evil Diva" agreed, setting up a major stipulation for the Divas Title match at the Royal Rumble. Will the talented rookie be able to retain, or is the suddenly-confident Beth going to pull the upset?

Trucker & Tank go Hardcore, the Tag Team champs aren't impressed and Gravedigger tries to go 4-for-4
Last week, Big Mutha Trucker was interviewed and asked about his developing feud with Hardcore champ Tank Blazer and his entry into Gravedigger's battle royal challenge. The "Resident Redneck" appeared confident but was interrupted by the "Captain" himself. Tank inserted himself into Gravedigger's match too, and agreed to a Hardcore Title match for this week on Raw. During the match, Trucker got a little bit of payback by eliminating Tank before finishing runner-up to the "Graveyard Monster". Can Trucker win his 5th Hardcore Title, or is Tank ready to retain again? Speaking of Gravedigger, his 3rd battle royal win of the month is starting to make people buzz about him being the front-runner to win the Royal Rumble match. This week will be his final challenge, so it will be interesting to see who steps up... and if 'Digger can go unbeaten! In other news, the Tag Team champs were invited to Smackdown by GM Triple H to watch the #1 contender's match. But the Alpha & Omega and their mentor Master Kimoto didn't seem too impressed, including the elder teacher commenting that the match "didn't matter". Is the Japanese duo that confident that they will retain at the Royal Rumble?

SMACKDOWN PREVIEW - "GO HOME SHOW"

                                1) The World Heavyweight champ overcomes the "Maniac" but gets mocked
Angus had a main event non-title match against Zach Wesley last week, and the two behemoths had a very hard-hitting battle. But in the end, the unbeaten champ picked up the impressive victory. But following the match, Eric Executioner & Mr. Black came out and mockingly applauded their rival, drawing an intense glare from the champ. Eric has avoided challenging Triple H's order to not attack Angus, but he and his sinister manager have instead tried to resort to mind games. Angus doesn't seem to be phased... just angry! Will the two rivals collide just days before the title rematch at the Royal Rumble?

                                2) Quinn helps American Cool earn a title shot
In the Tag Team #1 contender's match between American Cool and Rebel Ford & Ace, a big brawl broke out between all 4 men and the referee had a hard time maintaining order. During the chaotic fight, Intercontinental champ Quinn Cadbury leaped over the barricade and smacked Ace with his title belt, knocking him out and preventing him from helping Rebel avoid a pinfall loss. Antonio Jordan got the win for his crew, putting them in position to challenge Alpha & Omega for the Tag Team Titles at the Royal Rumble. Antonio & Krizz are not ones to accept interference on their behalf, so will they have something to say knowing their win has some controversy attached? Also, is Quinn risking his title reign by attacking the former 2-time Intercontinental champ?

                                3) Mr. Black's clients fight for his attention
In a mixed-tag match against the Jersey Family last week, Mr. Black's clients Eric Executioner and Women's champ Eve teamed up for the first time... but were clearly not on the same page. They eventually won the match, but it definitely wasn't without its challenges. Afterwards, Eric & Eve were apparently competing for their manager's attention and it will be interesting to see how their relationship develops... and if the creepy Mr. Black can contain the tension!

                                4) Hitman & H.E.R.O. wants a chance and Justice explains himself
The Tag Team Title race may not be fully decided yet, as ECW champ Hitman Jack and H.E.R.O. mentioned challenging last week's #1 contender winner to another #1 contender match this week. Will they earn that chance, or be forced to wait until next month to continue their rise? In other news, the enigmatic Guy Justice tried to explain himself in an interview, claiming to be searching for a "truth" to reveal to everybody. He made it clear that he was deeply religious but determined to be successful, which many people viewed as a positive. What's the next step for the "True Savior"?
