This is a project I've been doing since May 2012, and this sub-forum seems like the perfect place to share it. Basically, I have a Twitch channel, which is a video game broadcasting site, if you are unfamiliar. I stream various wrestling and sports things on there, and most of it is CPU vs CPU stuff. The main showcase pieces are the Human Cockfighting League (HCL) and its Japanese rival promotion KUMITE.
Long story short, they're UFC and PRIDE parodies using UFC Undisputed 3 for the 360. I originally would search for awful user-created fighters and repackage them, but now that the servers are long gone, I make liberal use of the "random" button.
Each promotion has 4 weight classes, from welterweight to heavyweight (or lightweight to heavyweight for KUMITE/PRIDE). I record, edit, produce, and broadcast the shows on my Twitch channel, with commentary provided by me and a friend of mine. (If you like Mike Schiavello, my terrible impression of him for KUMITE will either make you happy or make you cringe.)
Anyway, just wanted to throw the channel link and other links out there in case this was interesting to anyone. Each promotion has a monthly show. HCL is run like UFC, with champions. KUMITE is strictly tournament based, with no defended belt. The annual tournament (KUMITE) winner is the champion.
KUMITE 7 just aired yesterday, with KUMITE 8 airing August 23. HCL 32 airs Sunday August 3. Typically KUMITE shows air Saturdays at 2pm ET, while HCL shows air Sundays at 8pm ET (prelims at 7:30pm). All shows (except HCL 1 and 31, due to errors) are archived on the page.
