Founded on 29 September 1887 Hamburger Sport-Verein e.V. more commonly known as Hamburger SV, Hamburg, or HSV, is one of the largest and most successful clubs in German football history.
Along with holding the distinction of being the only club to have participated in every season of Bundesliga, Die Rothosen(The Red Shorts) have captured six German Championships, one European Cup(Champions League), three DFB Pokals, two DFB-Ligapokals, one European Cup Winners' Cup, and two UEFA Intertoto Cups. Behind all of this success, however lies a dirty truth: HSV has not won a major trophy in almost thirty years. Financial troubles, bad player personnel decisions, mismanagement at the top, and a revolving door of managers(15 since 2007) has caused a downward spiral which has nearly ended in relegation two years running.
Something needed to change. Enter Bruno Labbadia. The 49 year old former striker, hired by the club for a second time on 15 April 2015, steered HSV to safety with a nail biting two leg play-off victory over Karlsruhe, ensuring their place in the Bundesliga for another season.

I am so ready for this. After a terrible year last year in which I just couldn't get anything going, I've made damn sure to get everything right in order to make this my one and only CM for FIFA 16. Before I get started though I thought I'd go over a few things:
First and foremost this is an HSV career mode, and my goal is to try and take them as far as I can, with the ultimate goal being the UEFA Champions League title.
If though things don't go well and the sack finds me, I will absolutely 100% continue on, taking the most attractive job offered.
As far as a National job, I'm still not sure. If I do take a position it will be with a European side only.
I guess that's it, first off is the preseason tourney, then it's off to the league where we open up against.....Bayern Munich

Labbadia Gears Up The Troops For Trip To Spain

Hamburg- With the full squad training now well underway, HSV head coach Bruno Labbadia must now prepare his club for their annual preseason tour which will take place in Spain this year, and includes for the first time and 8 club tournament with clubs from around Europe.
Said Labbadia: "This competition will provide me with a fantastic opportunity to build up our club's confidence going into the new season. It will also provide our young players an opportunity to show what they're capable of in a competitive setting, against some very good sides. I am truly looking forward to it."
The competition, sponsored by the Spanish LFP will be broken into two groups of four, with the top two clubs in each group moving on to the semi-finals. The groups will break down as follows:

3. UD Almeria(Spain)
4. SD Eibar(Spain)

I'm gonna play the preseason tourney with V7, because although it's not perfect, it's preseason. Once the patch drops, I'll start the campaign proper.

Finally settled on a slider set and played my first preseason tourney game. Rather than use video recap for each game, I'll post one video for the entire tourney. Look for that soon.

It's a version of A but on slow. I like for the game to play a certain way, and its not something that would be popular with the masses. it's difficult, every inch of space is challenged, and most importantly, its very unpredictable. I'll post the exact set I'm using in the OP, look for it tomorrow. Once it's there I'll update it as I make changes.

Can HSV Avoid Another Relegation Scrap?

Madrid, Esp. - Taking part in what's being dubbed as the European Continental Shield with seven other clubs from around Europe, Hamburger SV have advanced out of the group stage and into the semi-finals where they'll faces Portuguese outfit Paços Ferreira for the right to play in the final against either Middlesbrough or Rosenborg BK at the world famous Santiago Bernabéu home of European juggernauts Real Madrid
Although far from a juggernaut, HSV have thus far shown a willingness to do whatever it takes to get a result, going unbeaten in three group matches, defeating SD Eibar by 1-0, and drawing with both Middlesbrough and UD Almeria.
Said Labbadia: "I've been very pleased with the work rate, the willingness to compete, and the desire to win. Our young players have also done well, taking advantage of every opportunity given. Of course we've not been perfect, I'd like to see more goals of course, but that will come." Asked if he felt his club could avoid a third straight relegation scrap, the boss responded "Of course we can, and we will. This is not the same club as you know, we've had quite a turnover and although it may take time to come together as a unit, by season's end we'll be a top 10 club.
