Tough stretch of games for you my friend. You could desperately need a W. The keepers are playing out of their mind especially Agazzi. Although that wayward pass was very ugly and bailed you out. Although you were definitely the dominant team in that one. Loving this as always!

It's a rare sight for me to be the dominating team, but that's what I love about how this game is playing. I'm not being dominated by every single team, but there is still that element of anything is possible to happen.

I had Episode 7 uploaded, but it corrupted on YouTube, so will have it updated tonight along with the game recaps. Apologies for the Episode 6 recaps as I deleted the screenshots in haste of saving some memory on my drive, before I got my new 1 TB external hard drive

Lol, yeah I probably should have named the episode Bailed Out or Gifted! Or FIFA'd the CPU for once.

A good mix of matches though, can't put the game down. Agazzi was ridiculous, may have to look at him come transfer time.



Yeah, that's the truth, Hursty. Other teams are running away with. We are not giving up much goals, but we're not scoring as much either.

I've decided to move up to 15 mins from 10 to create more opportunities of fouls, chances on goals, but also a less direct offensive approach. We will see!

For me, the game shines brightest using 15 minute halves. Besides the obvious, being, well more of just about everything including variety, it allows for a more organic ebb and flow, nothing feels rushed, or forced, I couldn't play any other way.

I started my FIFA Video dynasty using 10 minutes halves on FIFA 13 which felt good for that game but now I'm using 15 minute halves with FIFA 15 and I could never go back.

When your clinging to a lead, the extra time really makes you sweat.

Absolutely, all great points. I started at 10 mins as well for my FIFA 15 Aston Villa side, but eventually went to 15 because the lack of goals.

The only reason I'm using 10 mins has been because of truly my time that is free before the wife and kids are running around lol. I do this live commentary and it takes a lot out of you sometimes, especially being on camera.

However, I'm going to go for 15 minutes. I love how this game is playing right now, it'd be a shame to not play it at the proper paces it demands. Thanks guys!

I rarely go past the first season in my Fifa careers, if I played more than 6 min halves I think my careers would last 5 games overall hahahaha. For me it's like when you sim a lot of games in NBA or MLB: it's quantity (of seasons) over quality... of course longer FIFA games brings stats closer to reality but I think it's way harder to have a longer career playing 10~15 minutes halves.

Great work so far, Matt. Funnily enough, I was just reading your Lam Matteo thread hahaha. I wish PES wasn't so broken this year so I could start a BAL (always hated Fifa's BAP... how can you CHOOSE which team you start? *******)

Is that the 2nd time the CPU passed back to the keeper and it resulted in a goal for you? I guess that is why those teams are not in the Premier league.

Lol yeah it was - the first one was understandable it was a very hard pass to the keeper, but this 2nd one bugged me because it was a simple pass and the keeper was acting like a midfielder/defender dragging the ball across his body slightly backwards. Goes to prove that EA made the GK's into a utility player with a playmaker mentality, problem is they play-make with a short pass, and then only send long balls up when they are under pressure.

That's why I've been looking at some values - as posted in the OS Sliders thread .

I feel like I've earned a little good fortune considering my past MM's with Fleetwood and Aston Villa have resulted in sacks. Who knows, like I said, being in the top 10 (let alone Top 5) of a table is foreign territory for me .
