Dana White Out as UFC President

    -- Las Vegas, Nevada

After a dispute with a fighter gets out of hand, the UFC board has announced the resignation of Dana White. "It comes to great disappointment in how the last event was handled afterwards, and further investigation prompted Dana White to resign," said one of the members of the UFC Board. Quickly filling in his shoes, President Bowers takes over and looks to continue the elevated success of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Bowers steps in coming from Pride Championship and has been a successful businessman since he was in his early 20s. "I am very grateful to take over for Dana and very grateful to get such a popular brand," said Bowers. The success Dana built will forever be remembered, but Bowers will look to expand on the success of the brand.

    In with the Old

Currently, the UFC has a fighter roster that is very impressive with talent. Bowers is bringing back some of the familiar older faces such as Chuck Liddell, Bas Rutten, and more. Some surprising signings include Kimbo Slice and Mike Tyson! We will look for some of these fighters to quickly rise in the ranks and take their shot at the champions in their respective divisions.

Now, Let's get ready to RUMBLE!

        Re: UFC: The Casual Side

        Main Event
Mark Hunt def. Frank Mir by Knockout (Round 2 2:48)

Aljamain Sterling def. Thomas Almeida by Submission (Round 2 2:13)
Cub Swanson def. Max Holloway by Unanimous Decision
Myles Jury def. Brian Ortega by Knockout (Round 1 2:20)
Ray Borg def. Justin Scoggins by Submission (Round 3 3:40)

        Preliminary Card
Stefan Struve def. Kimbo Slice by Unanimous Decision
Jessica Penne def. Joanne Calderwood by TKO (Round 2 2:52)

        UFC Fight Pass

CM Punk def. Augusto Montano by TKO (Round 1 4:37)

Fight of the Night goes to Cub Swanson def. Max Holloway
-- Easily the fight of the night, both Swanson and Holloway went at it standing up as well as on the ground. Swanson would get some heavy shots in during the first round while Holloway would rebound in round 2 delivering some punishment on the ground. During round 3, the score was set to go in any direction as the two fighters put on a stellar performance. In the end, Cub Swanson showed too much control in the ground game declaring him the winner by unanimous decision.

The main event featured heavy hitter Mark Hunt and the all around fighter Frank Mir. Hunt would prove to be too much as he kept the fight standing and the heavy haymakers would let a careless Frank Mir fall victim to a nasty combo. Hunt would secure the full knockout in the second round and excited the fans around the arena.

The only questionable fight of the card was Stefan Struve and Kimbo Slice. Struve easily out performed Slice in every aspect of the fight, especially on the ground. Kimbo Slice is going to have a very hard time in the UFC until he develops more of a ground game to not make his fights so one sided.

Overall, the UFC fans and the new president was very happy with the outcome of the card and look forward to Fight Night on FOX in a couple weeks!

            Re: UFC: The Casual Side

                LIVE from Houston, TX

UFC Fight Night on FOX just ended! We had a very exciting night featuring many knockouts! Some big surprise performances and a debut from a boxing legend. The results are in and posted above, let's head inside for the post fight press conferences!

To kick off the press conference, a few fighters sit down to discuss the event and their matchups. The camera quickly cuts over to Rory McDonald while the crowd rushes in. McDonald will now get a chance at Condit for the #1 contender spot to face off later this year for the Welterweight championship!

"This question is for Erik Perez, Erik, going into round 3, this was a fight that the judges could have ruled either way, what were you thinking as time was ticking down when you had the submission all but locked in?" asked a reporter. "Well, Eddie had landed some solid shots on me all night long and I knew it could not go to the scorecards because crazy things happen when they do. I saw an opportunity with (Edddie's) arm out of place and was able to secure the armbar with a few seconds remaining in the fight, not much to think about when focusing on ending the fight," said Perez.

"Cat, your fight earned Fight of the Night, do you think the judges scored this one right on such a close bout?", Cat responded saying "No, this was not scored correctly. It was a close fight, but I dominated the ground a majority of the fight and even landed more accurate strikes. The judges did not score it right and it was hard to hear when the winner was announced." A shocked look appears on the face of Bethe Corriera. The tension is growing between these two.

Another question comes in, "Mike, after stepping away from Boxing, MMA has a lot more techniques needed to be successful, how did you win in such dominating fashion tonight?", Mike responds "I did what I do. I knock you out cold, no one can handle the shots and (Roy) wanted to keep the fight standing up and that is where I have and will continue to shine."

As the press conference draws near an end, the focus shifts heavily toward Rory McDonald and his first round knockout of Nick Diaz. Questions fly in, most jumbled in the noise, but McDoanld answers a couple. "Rory, you came into this fight knowing the winner gets the #1 contender fight at UFC 4, did this motivate you?"... "You know, I try not to look ahead and worry more about what is right in front of me, Nick is a tremendous fighter and focusing on anything other than what was in front on me would have me on the other end of this fight," said McDoanld. Another reporter quickly asks, "Now that you know Condit is coming up, how do you see that fight going?"... "I will train as hard as I always have, have a great camp, the best camp, and come out ready to fight, the title shot has been long overdue, I am still overcoming hurdles and fixing to get what is mine."

Fight Night on FOX press conference draws to an end and what an exciting event it became. With UFC 1 right around the corner, the full card should be announced in the coming days. Rumor has it that this card features some very anticipated rematches. Stay tuned in for more exciting UFC action and the release of the UFC 1 fight card! Thanks for reading and we will see you next time on PPV!

                LIVE from Las Vegas, NV

After two exciting fight nights, we head to our FIRST UFC main event! UFC 1 being hosted at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas! As rumored, it features two very anticipated rematches, Holm vs Rousey and McGregor vs Aldo. After the last fight with the world being shocked by a Holm knockout, Rousey comes back better than ever looking to prove the world, this was all a fluke. Holm, on the other hand, cannot afford another loss after losing the championship on her first title defense. For the main event, Aldo looks to last longer than a couple punches as he hopes to regain his title he lost in embarrassing fashion. McGregor made a quick recovery after being submitted at 170 against Diaz and looks to shut Aldo up for the last time.

After the two main events, we look at a very stacked Main Card. The main card will start with Uriah Faber taking on TJ Dillshaw with the winner getting a shot at Dominick Cruz at UFC 4. With this chance, Faber looks to leapfrog over Barao for the shot at gold, he will do all he can to take advantage of the opportunity! After this, we will see a matchup of red hot Diaz vs Pettis. With Diaz beating McGregor, the UFC is giving him one shot with the top of the Lightweight division and the reward for winning this bout? A fight with the #1 contender Eddie Alvarez at UFC 4 with a guaranteed title shot given afterwards later in the year. The main card before the main events is topped with the Women's Strawweight Championship. It features two unbeaten women both very dominating. Gadelha will look to stop the unbeatable Jedrzejczyk but it might prove to be too much of a task.

Catch us early in the night at the Prelim fights which will host Fedor's UFC debut and pit him against the powerhouse, Alistar Overeem. A very high bout for a prelim, but the stakes are huge, winner could get a good bump in the rankings. The next fight will feature Forest Griffin returing to the octagon and a very promising Corey Anderson who has been very successful since his contract with the UFC.

The event kicks off Saturday, March 26th at 10 PM EST. Join us at the event and be prepared for an exciting night with big moves coming depending on the outcome of the card!
