    The Three Way Brand Split

    Welcome fellow OSers!
This dynasty will feature a 3 way brand split 2 of my friends and I are doing, and it will be ECW vs RAW vs Smackdown.
To start off we did a 20 round draft, and the next post will have a summary of it. We will try to post a show every Sunday and Thursday (starting today), and after 3 shows there will be a PPV (the next post will show them as well).
That's pretty much it, we hope you'll enjoy it, and maybe we will make a yearly awards show after Wrestlemania if enough people would want. Also, every Summerslam will feature a "mini rookie draft", more info on that later, and after every Wrestlemania we will do a full draft (more info later).

Re: The Three Way Brand Split

Two weeks ago a big announcement was made by the WWE Chairman, Vincent Kennedy McMahon, that the popular brand extension is back with authority ( ;D), with 3 shows drafting the best Superstars and Women in WWE:
RAW, the longest reigning weekly television show in history received the 2nd pick in the draft.
Smackdown!, the Blue Brand recieved the 3rd pick in the draft.
ECW, the most hardcore show in history of wrestling is back strong with the 1st pick in the draft.

The draft was a serpentine type, meaning the last pick of each round is the first pick in the next round and vice versa. There were 20 rounds in the draft, and if someone picked a tag team or a stable, they would have to wait the same amount of rounds as the members in the group.

    The Draft:
ECW had the first pick and went full force selecting John Cena, to show everyone that they mean business. RAW went with the Phenomenal One, AJ Styles to start with and with two consecutive picks, Smackdown took Kevin Owens and Shinsuke Nakamura. Up again were RAW, and they went with The Architect, Seth Rollins to follow up Styles. ECW continued to surprise everyone and with their next 2 picks they too Triple H and The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar, along with his manager Paul Heyman. RAW then took The Lunatic Fringe Dean Ambrose, and the look on Rollins' face was priceless, seeing his enemy going to the same show as him. Smackdown stayed with their indy wrestling mentality and selected Finn Bálor and Sami Zayn, meaning the once best friends Owens and Zayn are not going to be apart from each other. RAW then took Cesaro and ECW went with The Brothers of Destruction Undertaker and Kane. Next up was the first Female Wrestler in the draft, as Sasha Banks went to RAW, then Smackdown took Neville and The Miz with his wife Maryse. RAW were up again and the first stable to appear in the draft were The Wyatt Family, meaning RAW will have to wait 3 more turns untill their next pick. ECW selected the Big Dog Roman Reigns and a surprise return of Tyson Kidd, next were Rusev, Lana and Paige to go for Smackdown, but after a short discussion it was decided that Lana is considered as an independent Superstar, meaning Smackdown had to give up on Paige, but after ECW selected the Usos, Paige went straight back to Smackdown along with Enzo Amore. RAW finally had another pick and went with another stable, The New Day, meaning they will wait 3 more rounds for their next pick. In a smart move ECW then picked Enzo's partner Big Cass and the Big Guy Ryback, followed by The Club going to Smackdown. RAW were back on the clock and made sure they get more star power with Randy Orton, and ECW picked The Lucha Dragons. We then saw 3 Women picks in a row, as RAW went with Charlotte and Smackdown with Bayley and Asuka. RAW then picked American Alpha, meaning they will wait 2 picks again. Damien Sandow and King Barrett went to ECW and Smackdown took Dana Brooke and Natalya, followed by RAW selecting Becky Lynch. ECW went with the Prime Time Players and RAW took Dolph Ziggler, then Smackdown went with Tomasso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano. Y2J went to RAW, and with their last 2 picks ECW took Alberto Del Rio and Hideo Itami. The last pick for RAW was Sheamus, and Smackdown had a steal with Samoa Joe to close the draft off.

Right after the draft a trade was made between Smackdown and ECW, where Smackdown got Big Cass and Alberto Del rio and ECW recieved Rusev and Lana

Re: The Three Way Brand Split

Month 1, Week 1: Monday Night Raw - Live from the TD Arena in Boston, Massachusetts!

*The show starts with many fireworks and the title screen, followed by Vince McMahon appearing on the titantron*
Vince: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! Welcome to the redone brand split! RAW, Smackdown and ECW!
But let's not forget, I am only one man, and I certainly can't run 3 shows successfully. So without further ado, please welcome your new RAW General Manager!
*AC/DC Back in Black starts playing and the crowd goes nuts for Jake Carter*
Vince: Your new Raw General Manager, JAKE "The Punisher" CARTER!
*once he gets to the ring, Carter grabs a mic and swings it like he always does*
Carter: If I didn't know, I'd think you're happy to see me *crowd cheers*
        Well I guess you are.
2 weeks ago Vince calls me and says a new brand split is coming up, and he wants ME to run Monday Night RAW. As you can see, I said yes. People of Boston and the viewers on TV, let's not waste any time and announce the first match in the newer, better version of RAW! That match will be the first match in a tournament to determine the WWE Champion, and it will feature Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton!

*After a commercial break we're back with Orton and Ambrose making their entrances*
Match 1: Randy Orton vs Dean Ambrose - Mauro Renallo and Corey Graves
Renallo: Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the first match in the post draft RAW, and it is electric here at the sold out TD Arena in Boston.
Graves: Of course it's electric here, this is the first match in a tournament to decide the WWE Champion, and it's featuring The Viper and The Lunatic Fringe.
Renallo: I am Mauro Renallo and alongside me is the man you just heard, Corey Graves. Corey, give us your prediction for this match
Graves: To tell you the truth Mauro, I don't know. With these two the only way to predict is to wait for the 3 count.
Renallo: I can see why you'll say that *Bell Rings* AND HERE WE GO!
This is the start of a new era in WWE and in wrestling as a whole, as we see the 2 man or should I say maniacs starting off with the collar and elbow tie up, Orton with the chin lock, Ambrose uses the ropes for the irish whip and Orton floors Ambrose with a shoulder tackle.
Graves: Right from the back it looks like Orton wants it more than Ambrose, but I'll tell you that, you can never really know what's going on in Dean's mind.
Renallo: That's why he's the Lunatic Fringe. Speaking of which, Ambrose is now on the attack, putting lefts and rights in Orton's stomach, but Orton gets a big uppercut that floors Ambrose, who's now holding the leg of Orton-
Graves: Whoa whoa whoa whoa it looks like- IT IS, the ankle lock and this could be over right now.
Renallo: But Orton, wisely getting to the ropes to force the break. Graves, we've heard Carter saying there will be a tournament tonight for the title, who do you think is in it?
Graves: If I had to guess I'd go with AJ Styles, Seth Rollins, Sheamus and Bray.
Renallo: I can agree with you there but back to the action, Orton hits a big uppercut again, but Ambrose bounces off the ropes and hits a huge clothesline!
Graves: We've seen Ambrose do that move from practicly anywhere in an arena, and it's still shocks me how he kind of gains his powers from the ropes like that.
Renallo: Now Ambrose is calling for it, telling Orton to get up and probably hit the Dirty Deeds, he locks it in BUT ORTON COUNTERS WITH AN RKO!
        Graves: OUT. OF. NOWHERE!
Renallo: The cover from Orton now, one, two thre-
Graves: NO! Ambrose kicked out, how did he kick out?!
Renallo: Ambrose with an incredible showing of resilience kicks out of the RKO. But Orton is setting up another RKO and if he hits that, the match is over.
        Graves and Renallo: RK-
Graves: NO! Ambrose pushed him away!
Renallo: And now he hits the Dirty Deeds!
Renallo and Graves: One, Two, Three!
Renallo: And Ambrose wins the match after kicking out of the RKO, and will continue to the next round.
Graves: This is what the WWE is all about, at any given moment you can lose a match. And this is the perfect example.

*As Orton is helped by the refs to backstage, Carter enters the ring*
Carter: I hoped you people are pumped up because our next match is a Fatal 4 Way for the United States Title! Instead of introducing the participants, I think I'll just let them do it themselves.
*First up is Sheamus, who receives a lot of boos, next is Chris Jericho who receives mixed reactions. Up next is Dolph Ziggler who gets many cheers, and last but not least is Cesaro who is being cheered the most*
Fatal 4 Way for the US Title: Sheamus vs Jericho vs Ziggler vs Cesaro
We start off with Cesaro going after Sheamus and Ziggler after Jericho, all 4 men just switching blows at each other for a few minutes untill Jericho hits his Suplex on Ziggler and Cesaro hits a huge Uppercut on Sheamus and on Jericho, and Cesaro is the only man standing up.
He goes for his triple Gutwrench Suplex on Sheamus but can only get a 2 count, then he goes fa Neutralizer on Jericho, who wisely rolls out of the ring. Ziggler is up on his feet though, and he hits the Famouser on Cesaro, then pick up Sheamus and hits a Zig Zag but Jericho breaks the count at the last moment. Cesaro hits Jericho with a Springboard Uppercut, meanwhile Ziggler goes to the top rope and tries to hit a crossbody on Cesaro, but he hits him with another uppercut in mid air! Goes for the pin 1,2- Sheamus breaks the count and hits the Irish Curse on Cesaro, then the Brogue Kick on Ziggler and punches Jericho away, covers Ziggler for the 1,2,3 - and Sheamus is the new United States Champion!

*Renallo and Graves recapping the match, then Carter comes back*
Carter: What a match! Congratulations to Sheamus for his US Title win (crowd booing). But now we have another WWE Championship match to determine the participants in the match for the title. The match will be Seth Rollins against AJ Styles!(huge pop from the crowd) And the sec-
*Rollins interrupts Carter to an enormous pop*
Rollins: Wait, wait, wait, hold on a minute. I am the WWE Champion. I never lost the title, so how come I have to qualify for the title shot?
Carter: Well, you were the WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, this is the WWE CHAMPIONSHIP.
Rollins: No, this is bull****. Mr.McMahon will not allow this!
Carter: I'm sorry to tell you that, but this is MY show. Vince has no control over RAW. So stop complaining like a bitch and do what I tell you. (Crowd boos)
Rollins: You're right, Vince has no control over RAW. But he has control over YOUR JOB. *No chance, that's what you*
Vince: Sorry Jake, but Seth is right. He didn't lose the title therefore he should be granted the title match.
Carter: Would you look at that, a world record! It took you 2 matches to force me to do what you want on my show Vince. Okay Rollins, you get your match. But I just changed the kind of match. First of all, since he was supposed to face you for the WWE Title match, AJ Styles automatically qualifies.
        Rollins: But what about Ambrose?
Carter: Which brings me to the second part. You will face AJ Styles AND Dean Ambrose for the title. In an Elimination Triple Threat Match. *Seth is shocked*
Rollins: What? You can't do that! Vince, he can't do that.
Vince: Actually Seth, it is his show. *Carter smiles*
Carter: Well then we have our main event! But untill then we have 2 more Titles with no holders. First up, the Tag Team Titles! It will be American Alpha facing The New Day (new day rocks chants)

Tag Team Title Match: New Day vs American Alpha
With the titles on the line and a big announcement just before it, the crowd is very hot here at Boston, with 90% cheering for New Day. American Alpha made the jump from NXT and to RAW in the draft and already they have a chance to be the champions, but they will have to beat the New Day in order to do so, and looking at how New Day are controlling the match right from the get go, it's not going to be easy. Big E hits power move after power move, and Kofi hits a flying maneuver after another, and American Alpha are looking lost in the tempo of the main roster. New Day hits the Midnight Hour for the dominant win in just 9 minutes.
*Xavier picks up a microphone after the match*
Woods: AND STILL, your double u, double u, e, tag, team, champiooooooons!
        New Day: US!!

*Commercial break leads to Carter in the ring again*
Carter: I guess American Alpha didn't eat their Booty-O's. Although I think they deserve a rematch at Money in the Bank. What do you say? *Yes Chants*
Well then, at MITB American Alpha will have a second chance at the Tag Team Titles. In a ladder match!
But up next, the last match prior to our main event will be for the Women's Championship!

Women's Title Match: Charlotte vs Sasha Banks
The match starts by going back and forth between the two, no one can gain the upper hand for a few minutes, but Charlotte then hits a body slam and a knee drop like her father used to do. She taunts the crowd a little and when Sasha is back up she hits Charlotte with a chop to the chest followed by a "Woooooooo". This seems to play into Charlotte's head as she hits a big clothesline, then goes to the top rope and hits a pitch perfect moonsault that starts a "this was awesome" chant. Charlotte goes for the pin but sasha kicks out at 2, and Charlotte is going for the Figure 8 Lock but when she turns around, Sasha hits a Backstabber from the ground into the Armbar to complete the Banks Statement, and Charlotte is forced to tap. While Sasha is celebrating Becky Lynch attacks her from behind to everyone's surprise, and then she poses with the title as we head to our main event.

WWE Title Match: Seth Rollins vs AJ Styles vs Dean Ambrose - Triple Threat Elimination with Renallo and Graves in Commentary
Renallo: What an incredible Monday Night RAW we have here thus far, Sheamus is US champion, New Day are Tag Team Champions and Sasha Banks is the Women's Champion.
Graves: That's right Mauro, but now we have the big one, the WWE Championship Match between Seth Rollins, AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose in an Elimination Triple Threat Match.
Renallo: Let's look at what happened tonight when Rollins forced his way into the match, but didn't get what he wanted.
*A promo of the said segment appears on the titantron, then the 3 men enter the ring*
Graves: This match has the potential to be a great one.
Renallo: It does indeed. *Bell Rings*
Graves: Oh my goodness! Seth hits Ambrose with the Buckle Bomb immediately!
Renallo: AJ Styles cannot believe what he just saw, but he gets his mind together and hits Rollins with a Bloody Sunday! He goes for the cover and Rollins kicks out at 1.
Graves: Did Styles actually thought this was enough? Did he not see Rollins in action before?
Renallo: Maybe not but it doesn't matter, because Styles hits the Spine Breaker, but the Ambrose attacks him from behind and spins him into the Dirty Deeds!
Graves: How did Ambrose do that? He already had a match tonight, he even took an RKO!
Renallo: Unhinged and Unstable, Corey. But Rollins now with the roll up!
Graves: He can steal this one!
Renallo: A near fall from Ambrose. What's Rollins thinking here? Is he going for what I think he's going?
Graves: No way, that move was banned!
Renallo: Rollins going for it, CURB STO-
Graves: STYLES HIT HIM WITH THE PHENOMENAL FOREARM!
Renallo: Now Styles sets up the Styles Clash on Ambrose. He got it!
        Both: One, Two, Three!
Graves: that was too much for Ambrose. He could never do it after having a match not too long ago.
Renallo: That means Ambrose is out. Now it's just Rollins and Styles. Both men are just staring at each other.
        *Lights Out*
Renallo: It seems like we have some technical difficulties. I'm sure we'll be back in any moment.
        *Lights go back up*
Graves: THATS BRAY WYATT!! WHAT IS HE DOING HERE?!
Renallo: SISTER ABIGAIL! He hits Styles and Rollins with the Sister Abigail!
Graves: Is that Luke Harper? And, and Erick Rowan!
Renallo: The Wyatt Family are tearing the ring apart, they hit the referee as well now. But what does that mean about the title? Who's the winner?
Graves: Mauro I think they're coming for us as wel-
The Wyatts hit EVERYONE at ringside. Graves, Renallo, the Timeskeeper, Lilian Garcia, all the camera men, and even Jake Carter who wanted to stop them.
        Bray grabs Carter's microphone
Bray: Boston, Massachusetts. Where the infamous Boston Tea Party took place, a party of blood, death and horror. An event that resembles rebellion and anarchy formed by men with a vision. because when a man has a vision, he will do anything to achieve that vision. And anyone who's standing between a man and his vision, will suffer.*laughs, looks the Money in the Bank poster* RUN!
*lights out, then back on, the Wyatts are nowhere to be seen, and all the personal are being escorted on stretchers to end Monday Night Raw*

Sadly, we have to take a break from the brand split diary, one of us has some family stuff happening, but we will come back asap. In the meantime, I would love to hear some criticism (constructive please) about Raw

Sure thing. I'll look on other dynasties and see what I can do.
Btw, what do you think on the thing I did with the first match and the main event? Using the commentators to add a bit of realism was very fun to write. I think I'll do it on PPV's and Raw main events
