Mauro Ranallo: Welcome everyone to Extreme Rules! Tonight we are sure to see some extreme, and violent action from our competitors!


JBL: That is right Mauro! This is Smackdown Live's first PPV after the brand split, and the superior brand will be showcasing its top talents here tonight!


David Otunga: Man oh man am I excited for what is about to go down here tonight! The first ever Women's ladder match, Fatal Four Way for the WWE Championship, Tag Team action to determine our first pair of Tag Team Champions, and we continue the Hardcore Tourney!


Mauro Ranallo: What are we waiting for!? Lets get this show started!
























Tag Team Tourney Sem-Finals Match
The Perfectionists v. The Dudley Boys
We start with Mr. Perfect and Curtis Axel double teaming Bubba Ray early. The referee breaks it up and we start with Bubba and Perfect. Bubba tosses Perfect to the corner and throws a quick chop. Perfect catches Bubba with a quick cross body off the ropes. Perfect with a right hand jumping off the ropes. Tag to Curtis. Bubba tags in D-Von and Curtis tosses D-Von inside. Axel with body shots to D-Von, and then Curtis dumped D-Von with a big side suplex. Tag to Mr. Perfect, and Curtis scoop slams him over D-Von. Bubba gets the tag and eats an arm drag from Perfect. Perfect launches himself at D-Von in the corner. He attempts this again with Bubba over D-Von, but they bail. Curtis then launches himself from the turnbuckle over the top rope and he takes out both of the Dudley Boys at ringside. Axel with a shot to Bubba on the ring apron and allows D-Von to catch him with a quick shoulder block. Bubba with a knee to Perfect on the ring apron and mocks him on the ring apron as D-Von distracted the referee. Tag to D-Von who stomped over Perfect. D-Von with a big chop that levels Perfect, and now a tag to Bubba who connects with a kick to the back - sleeper hold combo. Bubba catches Perfect with a Bubba Bomb this time for a two count.

A tag to D-Von who drops Perfect over his knee and then connects with a quick senton splash. Perfect fights off The Dudley Boys with shots from the corner. Bubba gets the tag as Perfect kicks D-Von in the head on the outside. Bubba cuts off a hot tag to Curtis Axel. Bubba with a massive shoulder tackle to Axel, and tag back to D-Von. D-Von goes up top, jumps and connects with a huge splash. Perfect kicks out! D-Von with kicks to Perfect in the corner. Mr. Perfect with an elbow, kick to the face and then D-Von trips him up off the top turnbuckle. D-Von misses a spear in the corner. Hot tag to Curtis! Tag to Bubba as well. Axel with a clothesline to Bubba and splash to D-Von. Axel dropkicks D-Von off the ring apron. Curtis slams Bubba and drops an jumping elbow. Axel catches Bubba with another dropkick on the way back from the ropes. Perfect tags himself in. Perfect has Bubba in position, wait! Here comes D-Von, Axel intercepts! Axel, and Perfect give each other a nod. DOUBLE PERFECTPLEX! ONE...TWO...THREE!

Mauro Ranallo: Wow, what a performance by these two teams! You couldn't go wrong with either choice here as these two teams put on an absolute clinic in that squared circle!


JBL: I can not believe my eyes! The father and son duo of the Hennig's are one more match away from being the first ever Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions!


David Otunga: This next match is going to be amazing, American Alpha takes on The New Day. One of these two teams will be facing off with The Perfectionists later tonight for the gold!




















Tag Team Tourney Sem-Finals Match
American Alpha v. New Day
Jordan & Kofi start. Crowd chants for Jordan. Jordan scares off Kofi early by diving down for leg takedowns. Jordan throws down Kofi, Big E tags in, but wants Gable. Crowd chants for Gable. Jordan obliges, Gable tags in. Big E messes with Gable for awhile just tossing him all over the ring. Big E starts a New Day chant, but Gable with a single-leg takedown, wraps up Big E’s tree trunk like legs and applies a standing leglock. Gable switches to a front chancery, holds on when Big E tries to roll out of it twice. Gable switches to a side headlock, but Big E kicks at Jordan. The referee is with Jordan, allowing Xavier Woods to distract Gable. Gable with a shot to him, but distraction allows Big E to hit a massive full body trucking!

Kofi is in, SOS to Gable for 2! Quick tags has Big E back in, stomps away at Gable in the corner, along with right hands. Big E chokes Gable with his boot in the corner, gets another 2. Chinlock applied, crowd wills on Gable. Gable gets free, judo-style hiptoss.

Jordan & Kofi tag in, Jordan knocks Big E off the apron onto Woods! Step-Over Belly-to-Belly to Kofi, followed by a running shoulder in the corner. Gable in, American Alpha hits the Grand Amplitiude for the win!


Winners: American Alpha

Hardcore Championship Tourney Match:
Kevin Owens v. Vader
The bell rings, and Vader immediately gets Owens in the corner before punching away at him. VAder puts him in the corner, but Owens avoids him. Owens hits the ropes, and Vader immediately shoulder blocks him down. Owens rolls out of the ring to recover. Vader follows, and scoops him up, but Owens slides off and sends him into the outside ring post. Owens then superkicks him down and gets in the ring to look for a count-out...but it is a hardcore match, no count-out Kevin! Owens gets out of the ring as it becomes apparent Vader will get back in the ring. Owens clubs away at him before leaping off the apron with a vicious tornado DDT on the floor! Vader somehow gets in the ring to Owen's surprise. Owens immediately flattens him with a senton splash for a near fall. Owens goes to the top rope, but Vader grabs him by the throat. Owens tries to punch him off, but Vader is able to pull him crotch-first onto the top rope. Owens falls to the floor and writhes around in pain.

Owens is on the outside, and Vader comes around running and flattens Owens! Vader now has a steel chair to the crowd's delight, he goes to hit Owens, but Owens counters with a surprise kendo stick to the gut, and tackles Vader into the barricade. Vader moves toward Owens...Pop-Up Powerbomb on the outside mat! 1-2-3.

Maurao Ranallo: Here we go! The first ever Women's ladder match here at Extreme Rules! Smackdown Women know how to get it done, and I expect nothing else but greatness from Sasha, and Bliss!








Smackdown Women's Championship Ladder Match
Alexa Bliss v. Sasha Banks
Sasha Banks avoids an out of nowhere superkick early from Bliss. Both bail to grab ladders sliding them under the bottom rope inside the ring. Bliss launches Banks face first into a ladder at ringside. Bliss then tosses Banks into the timekeepers area. Alexa sets up a big ladder under the title inside the ring. Sasha pushes it over to cut Bliss off, but Bliss lands and then drops Sasha with a rolling forearm. Bliss sets up a ladder across the ring apron and announce table. Alexa plants Sasha with a spinning side slam on the outside. Bliss sets up another ladder in the ring. Sasha again cuts her off, but Bliss sends Sasha face first into the ladder. Bliss then pushes the ladder over and it bounces off the head of Banks! Sasha climbs up the top turnbuckle and tries using the ladder, but Bliss kicks her off and Banks crashes on the outside. Bliss attempts a suicide dive, but Banks gets a ladder up! Alexa crashes into the ladder and then lands shoulder first on another on the outside! Sasha quickly sets up a ladder inside the ring, climbs, but Alexa cuts her off. Banks kicks Alexa away, gets her hand on the title and Alexa pushes the ladder overs as Banks crashes into the ropes. Banks catches Bliss with a big dropkick. Bliss catches Banks during a hurricurrana attempt...

Bliss running powerbombs Banks spine first over a ladder in the corner! The cameras zoom in on the body of Sasha who is filled with marks and welts all over her back. Alexa puts a ladder over the chest of Banks, and catapults her into the second rope. Banks is busted open. A WWE doctor starts attending to Sasha. Sasha sees Bliss climbing up the ladder in the ring. Sasha slides in and jumps up with Bliss. Banks with big rights. Both fall off the ladder. Banks counters a neckbreaker, and drops the face of Bliss over a ladder. Sasha Banks sets up the ladder. Alexa Bliss cuts her off. Sasha jumps off and catches Bliss with a DDT. Banks uses another ladder as a shield as Bliss hits her with one. Bliss catches Banks clean with the ladder. Bliss keeps swinging and Banks catches Alexa with a quick superkick. Banks catches Bliss with a big shot and Alexa falls back first on the ladder over the ring apron and announce table. Banks climbs up the ladder in the ring, she reaches up and grabs the title.

Smackdown Tag Team Championship Finals Match:
American Alpha v. The Perfectionists
Before American Alpha could even make it to the ring, The Perfectionists blindsided the tag team, unleashing a vicious assault. The father and son duo then strode to the squared circle as General Manager Daniel Bryan and officials checked in on Jason Jordan & Chad Gable.

Fearlessly, but perhaps recklessly, the former NXT Tag Team Champions got back up, and charged their heelish rivals, sending them from the ring. Despite the setback, a calm and collected Henning family came back into the squared circle as the referee rang the bell to finally start the match.

Amid their heated battle, Jordan & Gable somehow managed to fight their way back, suplexing their foes around the ring. Jordan and Axel are inside the ring going toe to toe with each other as the match is finally calming down and coming into stride. Perfect has a chair, and is trying to bring it into the ring, but this isn't a no DQ match! The referee is distracted with Perfect, and Axel with a low blow to Jordan! Swinging neckbreaker, one...two..no! The Perfectionists continue to work over Jordan in their corner, as Gable is trying to get the crowd roaring for the tag. With Axel in, he makes a mistake and tries and goes for an Perfectplex, however Jordan manages to reverse it and back drops him to the mat with a German! Gable is now demanding the tag, and gets it! Axel dives and tags in Perfect! The two men both come marching in, but the strange, quick offense of Gable has Perect confused! Gable tries for the out of nowhere dropkick, but wait Mr. Perfect intercepts with a dropkick of his own in the back! Right into the swinging neckbreaker! 1-2-Jordan breaks it up! Axel goes for Jordan, but Jordan catches Axel and launches him right on over the top rope. Now Jordan is measuring to take flight and goes for it, but is caught with an European uppercut! Out goes Jordan on the outside, and Gable who is now back up is giving back some rights Perfect gave him earlier, Axel with the distraction!...dropkick! Out goes Axel. Gable turns around and quick roll up by Perfect! 1-2-NO! Chad Gable kicks out and this tag match is still going! Jordan makes his way back up onto the apron and is wanting the tag to enter the match, Gable tags him in...senton from the apron onto Axel! Jason Jordan with a spear into the turnbuckle, Gable is back up and tags himself in. GRAND AMPLITUDE! ONE...TWO...THREE!

Hardcore Championship Tourney Match:
Dean Ambrose v. Raven
Match can only be won by pinfall or submission. Ambrose unloads with shots in the corner early. Raven sent off the turnbuckles, then yells at the referee to get out of his way.. Ambrose with a clothesline. Raven comes back with a back elbow. Jericho scales the ringside, but Ambrose stops him. Ambrose with a crossbody and right hands, then sends Raven into the barricade multiple times. Ambrose ponders what weapon he wants from the ring, then starts his search, but Raven stops him. Raven looks around, but Ambrose heads over with him. Raven grabs a mop, but Ambrose stops him and nails Raven in the ear with the point of the mop. Ambrose with a running shot with the mop, then drives it across Raven’s back multiple times. Ambrose does a Sandman-style White Russian Leg Sweep with the mop, then puts the mop in Raven’s face. Raven comes back with a 2nd Rope Missile Dropkick for 2. Raven looks down at Ambrose and nails him with the mop. Raven looks around the ring, but Ambrose stops him. Ambrose with a Back Suplex on the outside mat. Both men look around the ring on opposite sides. Raven grabs the barbed wire 2×4, while Ambrose grabs nunchuks. Raven looks at Ambrose as Ambrose starts to do some Katas with the nunchuks. Ambrose nails Raven multiple times with the nunchuks. Raven bails, and starts to again look around the ring and tries to leave, but Ambrose stops him. Raven sends Ambrose off into the announce booth, and grabs a kendo stick. Raven nails Ambrose multiple times with the kendo stick, sending Ambrose into the ring, while Raven taunts the crowd with the kendo stick.

Raven with a kendo stick shot from off the top onto Ambrose. Raven now nails Ambrose multiple times with the nunchuks, then hits a snap suplex for a 1 count. Raven heads back around the ring, and grabs a leather strap. Raven begins whipping Ambrose with the leather strap repeatedly. Raven goes up the ropes, but Ambrose uses the strap to slam Raven off the ropes. Ambrose now has the strap and whips Raven repeatedly with the strap. Raven comes back by sending Ambrose into the turnbuckle. Raven again yells at the referee to move out of his way. Raven scales the turnbuckle, but Ambrose heads up to stop him. They fight on the the top rope, with Raven getting crotched on the ropes. Ambrose heads back around, and grabs a fire extinguisher. Raven moves around the ring and goes for the straitjacket, but Ambrose pulls him to him, along with the straitjacket. Raven throws the straitjacket at Ambrose, then hits a DDT for 2. Ambrose sent back into the turnbuckle, then Raven hits a Dropkick, sending Ambrose again into the turnbuckle. Raven taunts the crowd, then unloads with shots to Ambrose. Raven grabs the straitjacket and goes to put it on Ambrose. Ambrose gets free and gives Raven a Violence Party, followed by a running forearm and a clothesline for 2. Raven comes back with the Butterfly Backbreaker for 2. “We Want Violence” chants by the crowd. Ambrose avoids the running bulldog and hits one of his own. They fight again up top, Ambrose knocks Raven off, then goes to the top of the ropes and leaps off, nailing Raven with the Standing Elbow Drop! Ambrose gets 2. Ambrose moves around the ring, and grabs a bucket. Ambrose opens the bucket to reveal a bag inside. Ambrose opens the bag to reveal thousands of thumbtacks! Raven looks at it in shock! Raven tries to leave, but Ambrose gets him on his shoulders. Raven counters with a Victory Roll for 2. Raven counters a slam and tries to powerbomb Ambrose, then counters an Alabama Slam into another DDT. Ambrose gets to the outside. Ambrose goes for Dirty Deeds, but Raven counters back into the DDT, but Ambrose powers up and grabs the kendo stick, nailing Raven with it to get free. Ambrose heads up top, but Raven nails him with the fire extinguisher. DDT by Raven, but Ambrose kicks out! Raven grabs the barbed wire 2×4 and nails Ambrose in the ribs and the back with it. Another shot to the ribs by Raven. Raven dares Ambrose to get up, but Ambrose counters another DDT and slams Raven onto the thumbtacks! We see that Raven’s back is covered in thumbtacks. Dirty Deeds by Ambrose into the thumbtacks for the win.

Neville v. AJ Styles v. John Cena v. Finn Balor





Shane McMahon: So sorry to interrupt this soon to be amazing main event everyone, but a thought just came to me. Instead of one fall...why not three? That is why this Fatal Four Way Match is now an elimination match!



We are back live and the bell rings. AJ Styles immediately bails. John Cena and Finn Balor take turns getting in shots on Neville. Cena clotheslines Neville over the top rope. Balor attacks Cena, and Styles is back in going after Balor. Finn with big rights to AJ in the corner. Cena is chasing down Neville on the outside. Mauro Ranallo reminds us about the elimination stipulation tonight during this match. Back inside the ring, Cena with a suplex on Neville. John with body shots in the corner as Balor tosses AJ back in. Neville catches Cena with a boot in the corner. Cena responds with a huge smacking right hand that sends Neville over the top rope. We are back to another stare down between Cena and Balor. Balor and Cena exchange right hands. Cena with a jumping shoulder block on Balor. Balor avoids Superman and then bicycle kicks Cena over the top rope! Balor with a suicide dive to Cena. Styles drops Balor jaw first over the ring barricade. Neville jumps back in and then over the top rope taking out Cena and Styles at ringside. Everyone is down.

Styles is getting in right hands to Cena. Styles gets up on the ring apron and connects with a flying Phenomenal Forearm! Neville cuts off Styles, tosses Styles back in and gets a two count off a pinfall attempt. Styles with a straight right hand to Neville and dumps him out. Styles with a clothesline on Balor, shot on Cena and a springboard 450 splash over Cena for a two count. AJ with a shot to the back of the knee of the returning Neville. AJ pushes Neville up in the corner, backs up and Cena pulls him out of the ring. Cena sends AJ face first into the ring barricade. Balor sends Cena's face first into the ring post. Balor with an elbow splash to Neville in the corner. Neville is back in this, and cutting off Balor with clotheslines. Styles is back in and eats a flying clothesline from Neville. Cena levels Neville with a big boot. Cena is clearing house with shoulder tackles. Cena splashes Styles and Neville in the same corner. Cena with a splash to Styles and Neville again. Cena with a big closeline that sends Balor out. Neville with a roll up for two on Cena. Cena plants Neville with a scoop slam and delivers the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Styles with an attempt of Phenomenal Forearm to Cena...misses, and nails Neville! Cena AA to AJ over the top rope, the cover on Neville. One...two...three!

Neville has been eliminated.

Tower of Doom spot in the corner with Cena bringing down Styles and Balor from the corner. Cena with repeated shoulder tackles to Balor. Cena catches Styles with a quick one now! Balor avoids another one, and Finn sends Cena through the ropes, but Cena cuts off a suicide dive with a right hand. Balor avoids an AA, and plants Cena with Bloody Sunday for a close two count. Cena avoids a Coupe De Grace. Balor with a pele kick to the head of John. Cena catches Balor with a springboard stunner when Balor attempted a springboard flying knee. Finn kicks out! Finn cuts off a shoulder tackle with a knee and superkick. Styles with a superkick that drops Balor! Styles with a leaping dropkicks from corner to corner on both Cena and Balor. Cena with a Superman effort lays into Styles, AA! Styles somehow kicks out! Styles with a superkick cutting off Cena. Cena counters an attempted Styles Clash with an AA! Balor is back, Cena counters a bicycle kick with the STF! Balor is looking close to tapping out! Wait!? Neville jumps on top of Cena! Neville is beating Cena to a pulp in the ring, Neville now with a power slam to the mat. Red Arrow! Neville leaves through the booing crowd. Balor heads up top...COUP DE GRACE! 1-2-3.

John Cena has been eliminated.

We are down to the final two it is Finn Balor, and AJ Styles. These two former friends will be the first WWE Smackdown Live Champion. The war paint is fading even more with each blow from Styles, Balor is not giving up however as he is giving it all right back to AJ. Finn goes for Bloody Sunday, AJ counters...STYLES CLASH! Thanks man! It was fun trying to get everything done in the way I was planning. Next PPV will be more surprising for me as I wanted outcomes for this one haha.
