We are here to announce more competitors for the CWC and details of the tournament.

First the tournament will begin air Satuday Nights beginning the night before Takeover: Revenge with first round action.

We are also proud to announce more competitors

WWE has signed for the CWC the following international and Independent Superstars:
Akira Tozawa, Noam Dar, Kota Ibushi, Arya Daivari, Ricochet, WIll Ospreay, Gran Metalik.

This leaves 2 spots open which will be addressed in the next week.

I finally just got caught up, and I'm loving this! Every year I look forward to checking your universe out and every year it gets better and better. I was just able to get WWE 2k17 a few days ago and have been planning my universe out, I just wish I had enough free time to post it on here. So I just had my wife put random numbers 1-32 on my CWC participants since whe doesnt watch wrestling and wanted it completely random and the first round is going to be fun once it starts.

Not sure exactly what you mean by old wrestlers? My Universe is current. I use CAWs for current guys not in the game.

SO I have decided to focus more on the storytelling until I get through crowning brand champions over the next month on most shows because technically I am still setting my Universe up and cant really get to rivalries until the brand championship tournaments are done.

May 2016 Week 2

- The show begins and Commissioner Shane McMahon makes his way out to the ring.

Shane: “Welcome to the first episode of Smackdown Live since the draft and as you watched last week Smackdown Live dominated that draft and we are the land of opportunity. Tonight, we will begin our tournaments to crown our first ever brand champs. Some of them will be crowed prior to our first brand Pay Per View Battleground, but the brand championship will be crowned at Battleground, but we will discuss that in a little big because we have some other big pieces of news to deal with. Last week it was revealed that my choice for GM of Smackdown had been medically cleared to return to the ring so I needed to go out and find a new GM. I looked high and low for a new GM and I think have found the perfect person. WWE Universe please welcome the new GM of Smackdown. “Just Close Your Eyes” began to play and the crowd went wild as Christian made his way to the stage.”

Christian: “Thank you Shane McMahon for this opportunity. IT is not one that is taken lightly. I know you want Smackdown to be the land of opportunity and I know what it’s like to be held back and then to be given my proper opportunity when I made my move to TNA in my career and showed everyone I belonged at the top. Tonight, we begin our new era and like you said there were several battle royals to seed our brand championship brackets. Let’s see some highlights.”

- Shane directs the attention to the Titan Tron as they showed highlights from 3 6-man battle royals.

- In the first battle royal we saw Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, Drew Galloway, Finn Balor, Baron Corbin, and Curtis Axel face off.
- ELIMINATION ORDER:
o Ziggler by Axel. Axel somehow held onto the ropes as Ziggler went to clothesline him over it.
o Baron Corbin by Cody Rhodes
o Curtis Axel by Cody Rhodes
o Finn Balor by Galloway and Rhodes
o Galloway by Rhodes
o WINNER: Cody Rhodes

Christian: “Well that match set up the following first round matches in the Smackdown Brand Championship Tournament.”

- The Titan Tron shows the following bracket

Shane: “Tonight we will begin first round matches from these outcomes. And we will also see two matches in the women’s championship tournament as well as a first round tag team tournament match but let’s get to action right now.”

- Tyler Breeze made his way to the ring, followed by AJ Styles.

Smackdown Championship First Round
AJ Styles v. Tyler Breeze

- Styles and Breeze locked up and Styles pushed Breeze against the ropes and delivered and elbow then whipped him across the ring and delivered a big dropkick to him. Styles then picked up Breeze and delivered a suplex. Styles stayed in control and got Breeze down then came off the middle rope with a double axe handle and then worked him over on the mat for a 1 count. Styles stayed in control until Breeze reversed an irish whip and took Styles down and delivered several kicks to him. Breeze got really cocky and posed on the top turnbuckle which allowed Styles to get to his feet. Breeze fought back thought an delivered a shin breaker to Styles. Styles battled back and locked in a torture rack and then on the mat hit a quick DDT. Styles picked up Breeze and delivered a Death Valley Driver into a neckbeaker. Styles went out to the ring apron and delivered a flying forearm for a 2 count. Styles stayed in control and was able to deliver a reverse lifting DDT followed by the Styles Clash

- After the match the Balor Club showed up and surrounded the ring and attacked Styles. All of a sudden we hear the following on the speakers…“BEER…MONEY!” and out ran James Storm and Bobby Roode to the shock of the audience. This surprise appearance ran the Balor Club out of the ring and stood tall with Styles.

Styles: “Balor, Gallows, Anderson, I TOLD you I had friends.”

- As The Balor Club was backing up the ramp new GM, Christian came out.

Christian: “Well it would seem that one of our open slots in the tag team tournament is filled now as Beer Money is now in the tournament and in fact, tonight Beer Money will face off with the Balor Club in the first round of the tournament.”

- The fans cheer, Beer Money smile and the Balor Club goes crazy at this announcement as we go to commercial.

Smackdown Tag Championship First Round
The Usos (Jimmy/Jay) v. The Ascension (Konnor/Viktor)

- HIGHLIGHTS:
o Jimmy Uso delivers a huge superkick to Konnor for a 2 count.
o Viktor delivered a double underhook sit out powerbomb on Jey for a 2 count.
o Jimmy delivered the butt splash into the corner on Konnor.
o The Usos delivered a Superkick/Superfly Splash combo on Viktor for the win.

[spoiler]After the match, The Usos celebrated but all of a sudden flames shot up from all 4 ring posts and The Ascension seemed to gain more life in them and they brutally attacked

o Sheamus delivered a big boot for a 2 count
o Sheamus delivered White Noise but Barrett kicked him away and got a 2 count
o Barrett delivered the Bullhammer for a 2 count

Beer Money (James Storm/Bobby Roode) v. Balor Club (Karl Anderson/Luke Gallows)

- Storm delivered the Last Call superkick on Gallows for a 2 count
- Gallows delivered a sit out powerbomb for a 2 count on Storm
- Gallows delivered a big boot for a 2 count on Storm
- Anderson delivered a Gun Stun on Roode
- Roode delivered a Bridging Fisherman Suplex for a 2 count on Anderson
- The Balor Club went for the Magic Killer on Roode but Storm delivered a superkick to Anderson and then Beer Money delivered the DWI on Gallows.

Barrett: “I’m not talking about the Brand Championship, I’m talking about the tag championship. I know you are looking for one more team and I want in.”

Christian (looking at Shane): “Well we do need one more team” (turns to Barrett) “You’re in. and you will compete next week against the newly signed American Wolves. Good Luck.”

Smackdown Women’s Championship First Round
AJ Lee v. Emma

- HIGHLIGHTS:
o Emma delivered a big superplex for a 2 count
o AJ Lee delivered a jumping headscissors for a 2 count
o Emma rolled up Lee for a 2 count but Lee reached the ropes
o Lee delivered a Shiranui in the corner

Thanks, I needed to add tag teams and since in real life Beer Money had actually been recent TNA World Tag Champs and needed a team to go with Styles I figured two more TNA originals woudl be good.

Looking forward to the Styles/Beer $ - Balor Club feud for sure.
