The show starts with Shane McMahon and Teddy Long making their way to the ring. Chants of “SmackDown”, “Shane-O-Mac” and “Teddy” come from the crowd and both men look to be in a good mood.

Shane: Welcome to No Mercy everyone! Tonight we have a stellar card for you all and if you've been following along you know exactly what to expect from SmackDown at this point! We are going to tear the house down!
Teddy: That's right playa! We've got Championships on the line and some personal scores to settle tonight in the ring. So let's get tonight started.....with a tag team match!

Match 1: Blake & Murphy vs. The Hit Squad

Kid Dynamite and Blake start this out and KD hooks the arms of Blake and slams him down with an underhook suplex then follows it up with a springboard plancha to Blake's chest. Blake now with an atomic drop and kicks and an elbow drop to Dynamite's chest. He look to keep the offense going but Dynamite counters with a jawbreaker then a tornado DDT. Tag made to Mr. Black who's almost caught with a belly to belly by Blake but he counters with a headlock takedown. Black tosses Blake over the top rope with a belly to belly and he lands hard outside on the mat. While Dynamite goes to work on Blake outside, Black goes over to Murphy and gets in his face telling him “this is what happens when you mess with family”. He turns around as Blake is being rolled back in the ring but Murphy from behind grabs him and brings him back first into the ropes and it stuns Black just enough for Blake to make the tag. And Murphy hits a big powerbomb on Black and just goes to work with stomps. He throws Black in the corner and and turns to walk towards Dynamite in the opposite corner. The ref goes to stop him meanwhile Blake is choking Black in his corner. Murphy walks back over and picks up Black but he pops Murphy with an uppercut and sends him into his corner and Dynamite is tagged back in the match. Black picks up Murphy and drops him right on Dynamite's knee then Dynamite hits a DDT that busts Murphy open and begins to fire up! He gets a few more clotheslines in then calls to Black in the corner and the two connect with Black Dynamite!

Cass and English lock up and Aiden takes Cass down to the mat then picks him up and works the arm of Cass then hits a big uppercut. Cass gets back into it tossing English over his shoulder and tags in Enzo who comes in with a running elbow to Aiden. Aiden though chops the legs of Amore and tags in Simon who starts punching Zo over and over and even slams the neck of Amore into the bottom rope! Another tag to English and he drop kicks Enzo and hits a big elbow drop. Whirling Dervish to Amore! 1-2 Cass comes in and breaks it up! Enzo makes the tag to Cass but he's greeted with a german suplex and a airplane spin from Gotch. Simon picks up Cass attempting a suplex and Cass knee's Simon in the head and breaks it up. He tags in Enzo who hits a DDT and then a quick tag back to Big Cass. Rocket Launcher! The ref is more focused on Gotch in the corner who's messing with the turnbuckle pad and Aiden kicks out. Cass with a back body drop but Aiden reverses it into a suplex then bows before hitting a leg drop to Cass.
Competing chants of “that was manly” and “how you doin” bounce back and forth now. Simon gets tagged back in now and as Cass is being held in the corner Simon kicks hard at Cass's knee and he crumples to the mat in pain. Cass tries fighting up but can't as The Vaudevillians have him grounded in their corner. Enzo can be heard telling Cass to get over to him. Cass elbows Simon and he falls into the corner. Cass drags Simon over and tags in Enzo who gets on the top rope and Cass from his knees manages to toss Enzo in the air and they connect with the Rocket Launcher!!!

We cut backstage now to Austin Aries being run down by Tom Phillips for a quick word before his match....
Tom: Austin tonight you put your Intercontinental Championship on the line for the first time. How are you feeling going into this match?
Austin: When you've been around as long as I have nerves are nothing. I'm feeling very confident tonight and I'm going to prove that I was right to call Chris Jericho washed up. Tonight he'll be added to the list of guys to lose to Austin Aries.

Match 3 Intercontinental Championship: Chris Jericho vs. Austin Aries ©

Austin and Jericho walk up to each other and Jericho tells Austin he's going to get it before locking his arm behind his back and slamming Aries down with a back suplex. Jericho with a double ax handle from the second rope. A suplex by Chris is blocked, Austin's is blocked, and Chris with an elbow then a big powerbomb to Austin. Chants of “Jericho sucks” ring out as he locks in the Walls of Jericho! He yells out “who sucks now huh” Austin breaks the hold but Chris tosses him outside the ring. Now the two start fighting outside the ring and it goes over to the announce table. The ref is at the count of 4 and he cannot see when Chris smashes Austin's head into the Intercontinental Championship in the time keepers area! Aries is stunned and Jericho quickly gets him back in the ring.....Codebreaker!!!

Backstage we go and we see a split screen of Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns getting ready for their match tonight. Roman is putting his gloves on and flexing his wrists while Joe is shadow boxing.

Match 4 #1 Contenders for SmackDown Tag Team Championship: Lucha Dragons vs. The Revival

Kalisto and Scott Dawson start this out and Kalisto's high flying offense is on display early as he connects with double knees to the chest of Dawson and then a sit out jawbreaker. He tags in Sin Cara who's met with a suplex from Scott and Scott tags in Dash. Dash is met with a powerbomb then a underhook back breaker from Sin Cara. Both men dodge back suplex attempts by floating over the shoulders of each other but Cara has the last say as he does get the back suplex the third time. He tags in Kalisto who connects with a spinning elbow from the top rope. He goes to pick up Dash but Wilder gets a tag to Scott who plants Sin Cara with a huge spine buster! Sin Cara blocks a punch and locks the arm of Dawson to tag in Kalisto and they connect with the spinning elbow combo again!

We see Dean Ambrose now in an interview with Renee Young....
Renee: Dean this past Tuesday Seth Rollins stole your WWE Championship. Tonight you put that very title on the line. What's going through your mind?
Dean: Seth thinks that just because at one point he was “the man” that gives him the right to do whatever he wants. Tonight I'm going to do whatever I want to him and get my belt back because last I checked, I was WWE Champion and not him. Clearly his mother never taught him to not take things that don't belong to him.

Match 5: Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena

Wyatt with a big suplex to Cena. A clothesline by Cena is blocked and Bray powerbombs him to the mat. Bray begins to laugh as he rakes the eyes of Cena and hits a jawbreaker. Cena now gets a suplex and quickly covers Bray but a kick out at one. Bray takes out the knees and goes for a cover but again, a kick out at one. John with a big clothesline then a big powerbomb. Five Knuckle Shuffle! AA but Wyatt kicks out at 1!! We don't see that too often! Cena now sets Bray on the top rope and hits a superplex! Another kick out at 2 from Wyatt! Bray again takes out the knees of Cena and picks him up for a big Uranage slam!! A T-Bone suplex from Bray! Bray in the corner now and that sinister side is bubbling up.....Sister Abigail and Cena has a crimson mask!! 1-2-Cena gets the shoulder up at two!!! Bray gets down on his knees and starts laughing and yells “good John good”. Bray with stomps now as he picks up John for another Uranage slam! Cena kicks out at two! John with a powerbomb but Bray kicks out at two!! Another Five Knuckle Shuffle and now Bray is bleeding!! AA again! This time Bray's out at two but barely!
Both men are spent as they get to their feet. Bray hits an uppercut that stuns Cena and another Sister Abigail! 1-2-AGAIN Cena's out at two!! Cena now with a lifting sideslam. He attempts another Five Knuckle Shuffle but this time Bray thumbs him in the eye and stops the attack. Cena tries the AA but it's reversed again! Bray with a sick back suplex then a running senton! A headbutt now from Wyatt as he looks for Sister Abigail again....it's countered into an STF BY CENA!!! Bray has no choice but to tap!!

Match 6 Extreme Rules: Samoa Joe vs. Roman Reigns

Joe comes out with quick strikes and a kick to the gut then a suplex. Roman fires back with a suplex of his own then a drive by punch to the face of Joe. Joe wrenches the arm and hits a shoulder tackle to Reigns. He tosses Roman outside the ring but Roman pops Joe with a punch. Joe gives one right back to him then a chop to the back of the neck. Joe with a back body drop then a vicious powerbomb! He sends Roman into the stairs twice in a row and Roman is in trouble. Roman now gets back into it as he sends Joe into the barricade. Joe dodges a punch and throws Roman back into the ring. Joe rolls back into the ring but is met with a Spear!! Joe's able to kick out at two!
Roman goes outside and grabs a kendo stick. He goes to the top rope and comes down with the stick connecting with the chest of Joe! Joe catches the stick and pelts Roman with it now over ad over again. A Chimera-plex from Joe but Roman kicks out at two! Roman goes to get up but Joe sweeps the leg and takes Roman down and pelts him with quick kicks. A suplex from Samoa Joe, cover but Reigns is out at two. Joe locks in a headlock and says to Roman “I'm going after Dean next”. Roman with a back elbow to break the hold. He tries a Superman Punch but Joe blocks it away and hits a knee in the face of Reigns and now he's bleeding!! Joe sets Roman up for the Muscle Buster in the corner but Roman gets out of it to the surprise of Joe and flattens him with another Spear!!

No lockup here, Dean takes Seth down with a suplex. Seth grabs the leg of Ambrose but Dean gets out of it. Seth with a slingblade. Dean with punches and a kick but it's caught and a dragon screw takedown by Ambrose. A kick to the chest of Seth then a cover by Ambrose, Seth gets up at two. Seth with a DDT then a pin attempt of his own. Kick out at two. Seth twists the arm of Dean and hits a school boy super kick! He goes for the Pedigree but Dean reverses it and hits a DDT! Cover, Seth's shoulder's up at one. Dean with a snapmare takedown then stomps to the chest. The pick up is reversed by Seth but Dean reverses back into Dirty Deeds that makes Rollins bleed!! 1-2- No Seth's shoulder is up at two! Dean with a knee lift now!
Seth quickly grabs the leg of Dean and stands up. He rakes the eyes of Dean and goes for a belly to belly but Ambrose counters with a neck breaker. He sends Seth into the ropes and connects with knees to the chest then a russian leg sweep. Rollins puts Dean into the corner and hits a Buckle Bomb but Dean kicks out at two!! Seth now kick to the gut.....Pedigr-NO Dean reverses it into a DDT again, He tries another knee lift but Seth dodges and hits another school boy super kick!! Seth picks him up and plants him with a Pedigree!!!

Yeah I was surprised Aries lost the match too but at least he'll get a rematch.
That Bray and Cena match had me on the edge of my seat man. There were so many close two counts and I really wanted Bray to win for storyline purposes but again, this is only the start.
And Seth winning the title is interesting and considering the actions he took Tuesday before the PPV he's going to have a lot to brag about.
Overall, I'm happy with how things turned out!

OHHHH NEW ORLEANS!! DON'T YOU DARE BE SOUR, CLAP FOR YOUR WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS AND FEEL THE POWER!!!
Big E: American Alpha, you cannot, won't stop the New Day! We ooze positivity and that is what makes us the best tag team on Raw....well and of course we have the belts so that helps too.
Kofi: That's right E, I don't know why these kids keep trying us man. They can be ready and willing all they want but in the end it won't matter and do you know WHY American Alpha?
Big E: BECAUUUUUSE.....NEW DAY ROCKS!

Match 1: The New Day vs. American Alpha
Big E and Jordan start and Jason takes him down with a German suplex and then works the arm with a hold. He picks Big E up and tags in Gable and the two connect with a double wheelbarrow suplex. Chad with a quick cover but only a one count. E gets a big powerbomb on Gable and tags Kofi in. Kofi with a drop kick then another one, this time from the apron. Kofi tries sweeping the leg but Gable dodges and takes him down. Tag made to Jordan who sets Kofi on the top rope, super arm drag! Kofi gets back into the match after a gut buster then follows it up with a Boom Drop. Kofi now sets Jason on the top.....superplex to the outside!! Both men hit the floor hard. Big E rolls Jason back in the ring and then Kofi. Kofi with the cover but somehow Jordan kicks out at two!! Big E gets back in now and the two big men go at it again exchanging power moves but Jason gets the upperhand after an underhook suplex from the top rope. Gable gets tagged back in but is quickly taken down by E with a belly to belly! Unicorn Stampede time for the New Day! Xaiver goes and once again takes out Jordan on the apron!

Corbin: Who's my opponent tonight? I swear if it's R-Truth you're going to regret it.
Triple H: This is the second week you come into my office like that. You better be careful kid or you won't last around here. You're opponent tonight is the man Dolph Ziggler beat to become United States Champion at Extreme Rules, Tyson Kidd. Good luck, now get out of here.

The music of Daniel Bryan hits and out he comes to the ring.
Bryan: We've got two weeks left till Payback but I don't want to wait that long to get my hands on Brock Lesnar! Brock you just love getting the jump on people well I'm standing right here! Let's see you try and get the jump on me now!
After a few minutes Brock's music hits but Paul Heyman comes out instead.
Paul: Daniel you're not very smart are you? Why would you even THINK of calling out my beast? You must have a death wish You won't have to wait much longer though...in 2 weeks you will be beaten,victimized and defeated by my client, the WWE Universal Champion......BROOOCK LEEESNARRRR!
Bryan: Look Paul you can talk all you want but that's all you do is talk. And since that's what you do best tell Brock this for me, tell him that he'll never crush my will to fight and that's much more powerful than any F5 he can give me. He's going to have to work to put me down. I didn't come back just to get squashed, I came back to win championships, and that's exactly what I'm going to do at Payback.

Match 2: The Miz vs. Titus O'Neil
Before the bell rings Dolph Ziggler comes down to join the commentary team at ringside. They lock up and Miz gets behind Titus and takes him down with a suplex then an arm drag. Titus gets a short arm clothesline Miz with a quick DDT. Titus goes for a suplex but it's blocked an Miz gets it off instead and another quick DDT. O'Neil with a few punches then a stalling suplex. He stays on Miz with a huge belly to belly. Miz now rolls outside to catch his breath but Titus allows him no time as he hits a gutwrench suplex on the outside then rolls Miz back in the ring. Titus with a backbreaker then tosses Miz over his head! Cover but only a two count! Titus tries a powerbomb but Miz punches his way out but now Ziggler gets involved getting up on the apron. Miz goes to swing at him but Ziggler gets out of the way, Titus from behind...Clash of the Titus!

Match 3: Baron Corbin vs. Tyson Kidd
Baron with a kick to the chest and a powerful suplex to Tyson. Kidd now using his speed kicks Baron to the ropes and then hits a slingshot suplex. Tyson whips him off the ropes and now a powerslam. Baron puts Kidd in the corner and gets stiff kicks to his chest. He tosses him onto the apron but brings him back in as he tosses Kidd by the head right back into the ring. Kidd with a jawbreaker that slows the offense of Corbin but Baron takes Kidd down and starts kicking Tyson in the back and chest. Tyson gets back up and runs off the ropes but is met with End of Days!

AJ Styles now comes to the ring before his match....
Styles: I'm AJ Styles and you all know I've been on a hot streak as of late. I am the best wrestler on this show and there's no doubt about that. Cesaro, I want you to take notes because since you can't finish in big matches allow me to show you how it's done when I beat up.....Sami Zayn!

Main Event: AJ Styles vs. Sami Zayn
Zayn starts with a backbreaker to Styles. Quick punches and kicks from Zayn and a suplex to cap it off. AJ fires back with some kicks of his own then an arm drag. Zayn now with an exploder suplex and then he sends AJ to the floor outside. Sami with a springboard cross body to Styles on the outside!! He gets Styles back in the ring....Blue Thunder Bomb!! 1-2-Styles kicks out! Koji Clutch from Sami!! AJ gets out of it and now begins to roll! Inverted DDT then a brain buster! Now it's Styles who plants Sami on the outside after a back suplex into the apron! The two brawl exchanging punches on the outside now and Sami gets AJ back in the ring and rolls him up but Styles gets out at two! He stuns Sami with a thumb to the eye and hits a fireman's carry neckbreaker then follows that with the Styles Clash!!

The show starts with the music of new WWE World Champion Seth Rollins and he makes his way to the ring with a smirk on his face, and to boos from the Bakersfield crowd.
Seth: I told you all but no one believed me. There was a reason I took Dean's title before No Mercy and I was right to do so. I was the better man that night, just like each and every night. And now I stand before you your new WWE World Champion! I am the man around this place, and Dean even though you will get a rematch at Ascension, it will not matter one bit. I will show you that I am a much better champion than you can ever hope to be. Relish in this moment because the man is back at the top!

Match 1: Apollo Crews vs. Curtis Axel
Apollo Crews makes his SmackDown debut to a loud ovation from the crowd!
Apollo takes down Curtis with a swinging neckbreaker. Curtis now with a drop kick to the back of Crews. Quick cover but Crews is out at one. Apollo sends Axel over the top rope to the floor by the announce table. He stays on Curtis and picks him up for a belly to belly. Back in the ring now a cover by Crews but a kick out at two from Curtis. Crews shows off that power he has picking up Curtis from the ground and hitting a German suplex then three straight powerbombs! An enziguri from Crews and he takes time to play to the crowd. He then hits a gorilla press into a moonsault and the crowd goes crazy!!

Enzo and Big Cass come out to the ring fired up as usual.
Enzo: This past Sunday we showed those circus clowns The Vaudevillians no mercy as we whooped their butts all up and down this ring! How you doin'!
Cass: Got that right Zo, and there's plenty more where that came from. So who wants to step up to the Realest Guys in the room?
The Lucha Dragons music hits and they make their way down to the ring, they are the number one contenders after beating The Revival at No Mercy. They don't get very far though because on the ramp they get attacked from behind by The Revival! Both Kalisto and Sin Cara get thrown off the ramp and onto the stage floor.
Scott: Whoops. Looks like we're the new number one contenders now.

Match 2: The Realest Guys vs. The Revival
Cass and Scott Dawson start out and Big Cass hits a stalling suplex followed by quick stomps. A big punch from Cass and another suplex attempt, this one stopped as Dawson knees Cass in the head and hits a powerbomb. He tags in Dash and Enzo now gets in off the tag as well. Enzo with an atomic drop then a jumping neckbreaker. An elbow drop from the top rope and then a running cross body!! Enzo again goes high risk, he waits for Wilder to get up and tries to hit a DDT but is caught with a punch to the throat from Dash. He drags Enzo over to the corner and make a tag. The Revival hit a double suplex then lay in punches and kicks to Amore in the corner. Enzo manages to get away from the two and tag in Cass. Cass comes in but is met with a double clothesline. As Cass is getting stomped on by Dash, Dawson removes the turnbuckle from his corner. Cass gets up and out of nowhere hits a big boot to Dawson who's the legal man now. Wilder comes in and tries to slow the big guy down but is thrown hard into the exposed buckle and rolls out of the ring in pain. Cass tags in Enzo and it's Rocket Launcher time!!

We cut backstage to Samoa Joe in an interview with Byron Saxton.
Byron: Joe you failed to beat Roman Reigns at No Mercy. Where do you go from here?
Joe: If you think I'm done with Roman Reigns you're a fool. He got lucky this past Sunday. I WILL destroy him, and tonight I send him a message by defeating Dean Ambrose.

Back in the ring now new Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho is in the ring mic in hand...
Chris: Welcome.....to the title reign of Jericho!! Drink it in maaaaaaaaaaaaaan! Now some of you will say “Chris I saw you bash Austin's head into the belt before getting him back in the ring” and you know what I say, I say that's a lie! I would never do something like that! Why would me, a multi time Intercontinental Champion need to resort to such tactics as that to win? Those people are liars and do you know what happens to liars.....you know what happens to people who doubt my title reign huh......YOU JUST MADE THE LIST! And Austin Aries, when I beat you again at Ascension, you'll be on the long list of guys who have lost to Chris Jericho twice.

Match 3: Chris Jericho vs. Alberto Del Rio
Del Rio with a float over DDT then locks in a triangle hold but Jericho gets to the ropes and rolls out of the ring. Alberto goes after him but Chris gets back in the ring and decks him with a clothesline and he goes to the corner to taunt. A knee to the face from Alberto then a big German suplex and a few stomps. Jericho fires back with and elbow drop then a jawbreaker and a big knee to the face. Cover from Chris but ADR is out at two. A Northern Lights suplex from Jericho....Walls of Jericho! Del Rio gets to the ropes and breaks the hold. An atomic drop from Chris then more stomps. Codebreaker!! Codebreaker from Jericho!! 1-2- Wow! Del Rio gets out at two! And look at Jericho taunting again. He then yells at ADR telling him to stay down as he tries a powerbomb Del Rio punches his way out of it and then hits a backbreaker. He goes into the corner and connects with a superkick! Si,Si,Si! Cross Armbreaker from Alberto but Jericho somehow gets out of it! He sends him to the mat and hits a Lionsault!!

After the match Austin Aries comes to the ring. He rolls in and stands behind Jericho. Chris turns around and the two stare each other down as Chris holds the Intercontinental Championship high in the air before rolling out of the ring.

Match 4: John Cena vs. Rusev
As Cena is making his way to the ring the lights go out and when they come back on Bray Wyatt is standing behind Cena with a steel chair. He cracks Cena with it and then hits Sister Abigail to Cena on the chair!
Bray: You think you are immune John? That's your problem. No one is immune to anything in this life. I will drive you from this place! You and everything you stand for! Hustle, Loyalty and Respect are nothing in my world and you.....you will become nothing!
Match result: No contest

Main Event: Dean Ambrose vs. Samoa Joe
Joe charges Ambrose and hits a running STO then gets a headlock in. Ambrose with a DDT then a double ax handle from the top rope. A spinebuster now from Dean! Hard irish whip into the ropes from Joe to Dean. Joe tries a suplex but Ambrose gets the knee to block and responds with a flapjack . A punch and a sideslam now by Ambrose and now more punches to the head of Joe. A pin now but Joe gets out at one. Dean sets Joe on the top rope but Joe blocks and kicks Dean in the face stunning him, then comes down with a cross body on Ambrose but Ambrose catches him for Dirty Deeds!!!

The show starts with the music of Asuka as she makes her way down to the ring for the opening match.
Asuka: Sasha, watch closely as I break Dana Brooke. This will be your fate at this Sunday at Shimmer and I will be new WWE Women's Champion.

Match 1: Asuka vs. Dana Brooke
Dana charges Asuka and hits a neck breaker then locks in a headlock. Asuka gets out of it and hits a sideslam then a drop kick to Brooke's back. A German suplex from Asuka then another kick to the back. She goes to pick Dana up but Brooke sweeps the leg and takes her down. She tries to keep her offense rolling but Asuka with a wrench of the arm and another sideslam. A stomp to the left knee of Brooke then she pulls the arm back. Surfboard applied then right as Asuka let's go she runs off the ropes and connects with a hip attack! Kick out at two from Dana! Asuka goes to the corner and taunts to the crowd. She then pounces on Dana and applies the Asuka Lock!

Asuka's celebration is cut short when Sasha's music hits and out comes the champion! She makes her way into the ring and the two have a stare down. It ends with Sasha holding the WWE Women's Championship in the air then exiting the ring. Asuka just stands there with that smile she's known for.

Tamina comes down to the ring now and she has an angry look on her face. Who can blame her after all she's had to deal with from Alexa Bliss these past few weeks...
Tamina: I'm out here tonight to clear the air. Alexa you have no right to say the things you do about my father or our family name. You think that's all that got me here was the Snuka name? Well girl let me tell you something. I didn't know who the hell you were before you got here and just because you're a champion you think that puts you above everyone else? That could not be further from the truth. You have a big mouth for such a little girl and I plan to shut it for you not only tonight, but when I take that Women's Intercontinental Championship from you this Sunday you won't have **** to say to me.
Alexa's music hits and she comes to the ramp....
Alexa: Are you done crying yet? Be a big girl Tamina. Better yet, be a smart one and just save yourself the humiliation and leave that ring right now. Because tonight and on Sunday you'll be the one on the mat when it's all said and done. Then you'll go crying to AJ Lee, or maybe even your father about how you “need help” to get the job done. You can't beat me and you should just quit while you're ahead.

Match 2: Alexa Bliss vs. Tamina
Alexa goes to clothesline Tamina but she ducks and hits the referee instead!! Tamina goes to attack Bliss but Alexa rolls out of the ring, grabs her title and hits Tamina with it! By this time the referee gets up and sees the carnage that has taken place. He calls for the bell and we'll have to wait till Shimmer to get a resolution to this rivalry. Bliss walks to the back to the fans booing her.

In the back we see Paige and Skye talking. Paige tells Skye that tonight she's going to make sure Skye wins and she'll do whatever she can to support her. The two hug and quickly go back to talking a game plan for the match later in the night.

Match 3: Bayley vs. AJ Lee
Lee grabs Bayley by the hair and whips her to the mat. Bayley gets up but is met with a frankenstiner by AJ. She then crawls on top of Bayley slowly then proceeds to headbutt her a few times. Bayley gets a clothesline then an elbow drop bu the offense is short lived as Lee hits a crucifix slam. Bayley now with a twisting neck breaker, she sends AJ to the apron and then suplexes her back inside the ring. A pin attempt by Bayley but AJ kicks out at two. Bayley sends AJ into the ropes but Lee with an elbow then puts Bayley in the corner for a Shiranui! She goes to for the Black Widow but its reversed into a Bayley to Belly! Cover now but AJ's foot gets on the ropes at two to stay in it!
A jumping neck breaker from Lee, A jawbreaker from Bayley. Bayley sets AJ on the top rope...frankenstiner! Followed by a Bayleyplex! Bayley goes to set AJ on the top rope maybe looking for an avalanche Bayley to Belly but AJ stuns her with a kick to the face, rakes her eyes and applies the Black Widow! Bayley has to tap out!! AJ starts pointing and laughing at the downed Bayley!

Charlotte's music hits now and out she comes. She raises AJ's hand and then turns her attention to Bayley. She starts stomping on her repeatedly and AJ now joins in! Charlotte tells Bayley that the #1 Contender spot will belong to The Queen. She spreads her arms wide and soaks in the boos. Just then Sara Maple's music hits and she comes rushing the ring. Charlotte and AJ bail as Maple checks on Bayley.

The scene cuts to the room we've seen the Valentine Sisters in before. This time we see the Women's Tag Team titles on a table and then Raine and Chloe walk into view behind the belts.
Raine: The time for talk to be over is almost upon us dear sister. We face our challengers two more times. Tonight and then at Shimmer with our tag titles on the line.
Chloe: Shimmer was named as such with us in mind. We are stars, and we will continue to burn bright at the top of this division. Prepare yourselves Soul Sisters. Because Sunday is the only day that matters and we will be ready when it counts.

Match 4: Skye w/Paige vs. Billie Kay
Billie with a suplex then stomps to Skye. Skye with an arm drag then a backflip into double knees to Kay's chest. Kay takes Skye down and then puts her boot right under the throat of Skye then stomps on the arm. Billie goes to pick Skye up but she punches Billie in the gut and hits a back breaker. A jawbreaker is blocked by Kay then a back breaker, Russian leg sweep combo. An arm lock is applied. Skye gets out of it and starts a comeback with three straight clotheslines then a quick combo of slaps, punches and kicks that was impressive! She sets Kay in between the ropes and goes outside. What does she have in mind....an apron drop kick! She rolls back in the ring and heads to the top rope. Skye jumps down but is met with a sick boot to the face from Billie!! Paige attempts to get on the apron to stop the count but the ref doesn't even see her as he counts to three! Paige gets in the ring and tries to argue with the ref but his mind has been made up. She pulls Skye out of the ring and tells her “we'll get you a win for sure next week.”

Main Event: The Valentine Sisters vs. The Soul Sisters
Raine and Sandra start out and very quickly Raine gets control taking down Sandra and locking in a head lock. She gets in a few more moves before Sandra makes a tag to Brook but she's met with a huge super kick from Raine! Raine with a back breaker to Brook then a tag to Chloe and the two hit a double DDT. Chloe picks up Brook and goes for a punch but it's blocked. Brooke's punch is blocked and Chloe pulls Brook to the corner and Raine is back in. Another kick from Raine.
Brook manages to escape their clutches and makes a tag to Sandra who hits Whisper in the Wind to Raine. She tosses Raine into the corner but Raine punches out of it and hits a back breaker. Sandra responds with one of her own and tags in Brook. Brooke with the cover but Chloe saves the match and a brawl breaks out. It ends with Raine and Sandra in the ring still the legal women. A rolling drop kick by Raine, a arm drag by Sandra Blaze, Brook gets tagged back in...Soul Bomb! 1-2- Raine just gets the shoulder up at two! Raine makes a signal to her sister and Chloe gets down from the apron. She goes over and grabs the tag titles. She pulls Brook down and pops her with one, then tosses the other title in the ring to Raine who catches it. The ref tries to stop them but he can't as they both send Sandra to the floor when they connect with double title shots to either side of her face!

After the match the Valentine Sisters take Sandra and toss her over by Brook and they take turns stomping the ladies. They go to leave the ring and The Soul Sisters attack them now! They exchange punches with Raine and Chloe and eventually throw them into the barricade. The Soul Sisters leave to loud cheers from the crowd.

Sasha Banks' music hits and the champion is looking confident tonight...
Sasha: We are just a few days away from Shimmer where I will put my Women's Championship on the line against Asuka. I have never seen a woman work like she can in the ring and I will give her that respect. She is a force in this ring no doubt about it. She's also been a thorn in my side because of it. I cannot wait to show you what a boss can do, or what she is willing to do to protect what is her's! This right here is mine and you will NOT take this from me Asuka!

Just then Asuka's music hits and she comes down to the ring....
Asuka: Oh really Sasha, I won't take that title from you huh? You're not ready for Asuka I don't know how many times I have to say that.
Sasha: I have never faced you before that is true, but if that means I'm not ready for you then let's do something about that right here, right now!
Asuka gets up Banks' face and then hits her with the mic! A brawl breaks out now as the two women claw at each other. Both get in some good shots on each other before referees rush the ring and break up the fight. As they are being broken up they break free one more time and throw a few more punches at each other. This time the separation works and Asuka yells at Banks telling her she's “no match” for her. Banks says “we'll see on Sunday!” and this is how the show goes off the air.

WWE Shimmer comes to you from Orlando, Florida and it is going to be a great show! Here are the matches you can expect to see! Our analysts will leave predictions and we would like to hear what you, the fans have to say as well! So, who ya got and how does it shake out? Tune in for the show tomorrow!
Emma vs. Dana Brooke
This all started at the Rage PPV when Emma made her return. She lost the match and was attacked by her former friend Dana Brooke who said she had “no time for losers”. Since then Dana has attacked Emma every chance she got. These former friends now turned enemies will have to settle things in the ring. Will Dana break Emma like she has vowed or will Emma begin her rise back to prominence?

Women's Intercontinental Championship: Tamina vs. Alexa Bliss ©
Alexa has developed a big mouth and cocky attitude since being the first Women's Intercontinental Champion at Rage last month. She's made bold claims that her challenger is only in the WWE because of her family ties and her past as a bodyguard to AJ Lee. Tamina has not taken any of this lightly as imagined and finally at Shimmer the two will face off. Will the “Wicked Witch” Bliss retain her title? Or will Tamina make the Snuka name mean something again?

Women's Tag Team Championship: The Soul Sisters vs. The Valentine Sisters ©
The Valentine Sisters became the first Women's Tag Team Champions last month at Rage. Their first test is a very talented team who we saw this past Wednesday take the fight to Raine and Chloe after a heinous attack with the belts. This has been a very physical feud and the score will be settled at Shimmer.

Skye w/Paige vs. Summer Rae
Skye has been on the wrong end of a losing streak here lately. Her friend Paige got a win two weeks ago and she has promised Skye that her time will come. This past Wednesday Skye lost to Billie Kay after a failed distraction from Paige. Skye did not want to wait till next week so she was granted a match at Shimmer. Will Skye finally get that elusive win at Shimmer or will the losing streak continue against one of the veterans of the WWE Women's division?
Prediction: Skye finally gets a W

#1 Contendership for the Women's Tag Team Championship: The Queens vs. The Syndicate
The Syndicate have been a top team since arriving in the WWE, including beating both The Soul Sisters and the current champions in a non-title match. The Queens believe that they alone are next in line for a title shot just given both of their resumes. The duo of Sinister and Akane are out to prove they belong and secure that number one spot. They believe that no matter who the champions are they will be the next tag team champions. The Queens however, want to take their throne. At Shimmer we'll see who really is more deserving.

#1 Contendership for the WWE Women's Championship: Charlotte vs. Bayley
This has been a bit of a complicated one. Both ladies were in the ladder match where the first WWE Women's Champion was crowned and both have the skills to get the job done in the ring. However when Charlotte was upset by a newcomer named Alice she seemed to lose sight of the goal. Alice has not been seen or heard from since then but Bayley has made herself known. Beating Charlotte in a match and even playing a bit of a playful game which Charlotte had none of after one of her matches. This is sure to be a match of the night contender.

WWE Women's Championship: Asuka vs. Sasha Banks ©
This has been the hottest feud on Women of Wrestling. And rightfully so because it features two former NXT Women's Champions. Asuka feels Sasha got lucky in the ladder match at Rage. She told Banks that if she didn't slip it would have been Asuka with the belt. “The Boss” has done her job though as a champion and backed up her words with actions. This past Wednesday the feud was taken to another level as the two ladies brawled and had to be separated to end the show. Will the “Empress of Tomorrow” have her hand raised at the end or will “The Boss” make good on her promise and defend her title successfully the first time it is on the line?

Welcome everyone to WWE Shimmer! This is the second PPV for the women since having their own brand and tonight's show is going to be fantastic! The pyro is going off and it's time to see who will shine bright tonight! The time for talk is over! WWE Shimmer starts.....right now!!

Match 1: Emma vs. Dana Brooke

Both ladies get a very loud reaction from the crowd but they are different kinds. Emma gets loud cheers while Brooke gets belted with boos. But like usual she doesn't care one bit.
Dana bashes Emma's head on her knee to start then follows it up with an arm drag then a knee to the back. She goes to the corner and yells at the crowd. Emma gets up and hits a arm drag then a neck breaker followed by stomps and a knee to the back. She keeps up the offense with a back breaker then goes up top and hits a drop kick as Brooke gets up. Dana now with another arm drag and then a body splash from the top rope. She slaps Emma across the face then hits a swinging neck breaker. First cover of the match and Emma kicks out at one.
Emma whips Dana into the ropes and goes for a kick but it's blocked and Brooke dragon screws Emma's head right into the bottom turnbuckle! Dana laughs then goes to pick up Emma but she dodges and pushes Dana into the turnbuckle head first. She fires up and connects with the Emma-mite Sandwhich! Emma's got Dana right where she wants her.....Michinoku Driver!!! 1-2-3!!!

Tamina gets a mixed reaction from the crowd despite being on the receiving end of a lot from Bliss leading up to tonight's match. Alexa enters the ring looking as confident as ever.
The two lock up and are forced to the corner and the ref has to break the hold. Bliss takes the quick chance to slap Tamina across the face and says she's going to put her back into obscurity again. Alexa stomps the chest of Tamina then pulls her hair and slams her face first into the mat. Tamina gets up and quickly takes Bliss down then runs off the ropes for a leg drop. Tamina goes to the second rope and hits an ax handle. Tamina gets Alexa up and gets a hurricanrana. Cover now but Bliss gets out at one. Bliss quick roll up but Tamina gets out at one.
Tamina's drop kick is blocked. Bliss with a hurricanrana of her own now. She follows that with Insult to Injury! Cover 1-2 Tamina kicks out at two! Bliss yells at the ref questioning the count. She then kicks Tamina in the back over and over yelling at her to stay down and go away. Bliss now goes to the top rope possibly looking for Twisted Bliss but Tamina looks too far away.....she connects with it anyway!! Right in the center of the ring!

Both teams look super focused tonight. But Raine and Chloe look extra dangerous tonight. We've seen throughout this rivalry that they will go to extremes to protect those tag titles.
Brook and Chloe start and Brook gets first offense with a neck breaker then a Biel throw. Chloe with an uppercut then a hurricanrana. She gets a hold on the arm of Brook and stomps on it and follows that with a drop kick to the back. Chloe goes up top and dives down but misses as Brook rolls out of the way and tags in Sandra. Sandra is met with a hurricanrana then Chloe makes a tag to Raine. Raine with a clothesline to Sandra. Sandra with a take down then a leg drop. She picks her up and hits a Russian leg sweep. A tag to Brook who connects with a frankenstiner. Pin attempt but Raine gets the shoulder up at one. Brook goes to pick Raine up but a thumb to the eye stops that and a tag is made to Chloe. Chloe and Brook exchange reverses in the corner but finally gets the upper hand as the tag is made back to Raine and a aided cross body from The Valentine Sisters. Brook now with a running bulldog and a tag to Sandra. Raine sets Sandra in the ropes but Blaze gets out of the way and runs at Raine but Raine dodges as Sandra goes shoulder first into the post. Raine pulls her out of the corner and hits her finisher the Gory Bomb! Cover but Sandra somehow kicks out at two! Raine is fuming after this but makes a tag to Chloe.
She picks up Sandra and gets behind her to hit the Backstabber! Pin now 1-2 again Sandra is out at two! Chloe pulls on the arm of Sandra and tells her that they are no match before sending her across the ring with the drag. Chloe now waits for Sandra to get up and almost kicks her head off with a super kick!!! 1-2-HOW IN THE WORLD! Sandra again kicks out at two!! The fight in this chick is unenviable! It must be their night!
Chloe goes over and has a word with Raine. She's usually the calm one but after that Raine is the one trying to calm her sister. Sandra gets up and whips Chloe into the corner and connects with Whisper in the Wind! The crowd is fired up now and it looks like The Soul Sisters have new life after that! Sandra now sends Chloe into the corner tags in Brook....Soul Bomb! They hit it! Cover 1......2.....Raine comes in and breaks up the pin just in the nick of time as the ref's hand was almost done for three!! Raine starts the beat down on Brook, the ref tries to stop her but Raine accidentally takes out the ref as he was trying to pull her off. Now she goes out to battle Sandra and they do indeed brawl on the outside! Chloe meanwhile in the ring hits a leg drop then a running knee to the head of Brook as she comes to a knee. Another Backstabber from Chloe and instead of going for the pin she picks up Brook and Raine from the outside yells “Finish it sis!” Chloe does something we've never seen from her before and that's her second finisher a Flip Piledriver!!! Sandra gets sent into the barricade on the outside and in the ring it's all over as the referee finally stirs and makes the count!

Match 4: Skye w/Paige vs. Summer Rae

Despite the losing streak she has been on Skye can't help but smile as she is greeted by the Orlando crowd on her first ever PPV. Paige is right beside her talking to her all the way down to the ring.
Summer comes out and hits a quick head scissor DDT. Skye gets a powerbomb in now and starts doing push ups on the back of Summer. Paige yells “stay focused” from the outside. Skye with Insult to Injury trying to end it quickly but Summer kicks out at two.
Summer now gets up and connects with another DDT. Skye tries a suplex, Summer hooks the leg and blocks, she gets the suplex. An arm DDT now and a stomp then a knee drop from Summer. She tries a bulldog but is blocked by Skye. Skye can't capitalize though and is whipped into the corner. Skye dodges the attack and takes Summer down to the mat and hits an elbow drop. She sets Summer in the corner now and hits a springboard moonsault. Testicular Claw now from Skye followed by a Blackout. She goes up top for the Rebel Yell but Summer gets out of the way at the last second! And Paige now pulls Skye out of the ring and talks to her for a few seconds.
As Skye gets back in the ring Summer connects with a spinning leg lariat! Skye gets the shoulder up at two! Paige on the outside can be heard saying “keep fighting girl!” Skye kicks Summer away as she tries to pick her up. Skye quickly pounces and locks in Hell's Gate! Summer somehow manages to grab the ropes as she was flailing her arms around frantically trying to break the hold. Now it's Summer's turn as she slaps on the Lotus Lock! Skye fights out of it by rolling it over forcing Summer to break the hold and she pops up to hit Trouble in Paradise!

Paige and Skye celebrate in the ring with a long hug as that was Skye's first win in the WWE. They head up the ramp now and as they get to the stage area AJ Lee shows up. Paige gets in front of Skye and her and Lee stare each other down.

Match 5 #1 Contenders for the Women's Tag Team Championship: The Queens vs. The Syndicate

Natalya and Sinister start and Sinister sends Nattie off the ropes and takes her down with a leg sweep. Nattie gets up and picks up Sinister for a stalling suplex and tags in Beth. Beth rakes the eyes of Sinister and follows with a knee drop to her head then punches to the chest. Beth sends Sinister to the corner but she gets out of the way and slams Beth's head into the mat then tags in Akane. Akane comes in from the top turnbuckle with a cross body. Beth responds with a Gorilla Press and then a stomp to Akane's chest. She tags in Natalya and they hit “The Queen's bounty” but Sinister comes in and breaks the hold at one!
Sinister gets tagged back in and plants Nattie with a belly to belly! But Natalya wisely rolls out of the ring to take a break. She gets back in the ring and sends Sinister into the corner and Beth is tagged back in the two hit a double back body drop. Sinister fights up and whips Beth into the corner and now the Boots of Retribution come out from The Syndicate as they stomp away at Beth. Beth kicks out at one after all of that though! She runs at Akane in the corner but Akane dodges and hits a hurricanrana from the corner. She tags in Sinister but is met with a series of clotheslines from Beth and the Glamazon is all fired up now! She runs at Sinister but Sinister rolls her up and just like that this one is over!!
The Syndicate leave the ring pointing at their heads knowing they escaped this one using a master plan.

Bayley whips Charlotte off the ropes for a clothesline then goes up top and leaps to Charlotte and connects with a hurricanrana. A Russian leg sweep from Bayley. Charlotte sets Bayley in the turnbuckle ans goes outside to bend the leg of Bayley across the steel post. She then drags Bayley outside and slams her into the barricade. They get back in the ring at the count of six and Charlotte levels Bayley with a Spear! She pulls Bayley up and says “you don't belong in the same ring as me” then hits Natural Selection!

Asuka despite being the heel in this feud comes out to a good amount of cheers but nowhere near as many as Banks does. Battling chants of “Asuka's gonna kill you” and “Sasha Banks” bounce between the crowd. The two get in each others faces and the ref has to break it up so introductions can take place.
Asuka punches Sasha then hits a German suplex. Banks with a jaw breaker then double knees to the chest of Asuka. An arm lock now followed by a stomp on the arm from Sasha. A dragon screw take down from Asuka then fireman's carries from both ladies. Asuka sends Banks off the ropes and a knee to the gut is connected. A snap suplex from Asuka then she pulls the arm of Banks and snaps it back. Banks now with a twisting DDT then a few stomps. Asuka sends Banks into the corner. Banks reverses with an elbow. Banks with a running clothesline then another stomp on the arm and a shining wizard.
She goes up top and connects with a drop kick. Sasha sends Asuka off the ropes and hits a cross body then another shining wizard and then locks in a surfboard but Asuka gets out of it.
A jumping knee drop from Asuka then a few punches as she wraps her legs around the body of Sasha. Banks sets Asuka in the corner and goes for the jumping arm drag then a drop kick to the back. A hurricanrana from Banks then she tries for a neck breaker but Asuka reverses into one of her own! And she slaps her hip now maybe beginning to feel it! A back suplex by Asuka and she's setting up for it....Asuka Lock! Asuka Lock! Right in the center of the ring! Sasha realizes that she's in a bad way but she manages to elbow Asuka in the face and that breaks the hold!
Sasha quickly whips Asuka into the ropes and goes for the double knees but something we rarely see Asuka escapes and plants Banks with another German suplex! She picks up Banks and applies the cross armbreaker! Sasha's foot finds the ropes and the hold is broken. An arm wrench from Asuka then a high knee to the face. Banks now with an arm drag then a running bulldog. She slams Asuka's face into the mat and goes for her leg but Asuka turns around and kicks her away sending Banks to the mat. A kick to the leg of Banks and Asuka gets that smile she's known for on her face. She says “come on Sasha” as she waits for the champ to get up. Asuka applies the Asuka Lock again!! This time a bit closer to the ropes than last time.....Sasha can't get to the ropes as Asuka pushes off with her foot giving just enough space. The hold is in really tight and the pain becomes too much for Banks to bear!! She taps!! Sasha has tapped out!!! She held on as long as she could!
