the red c's World Wrestling Federation

Hello all and welcome to my take at running a wrestling a show. I tried once before on here, and I'm going to start out almost exactly like I did that one, except this time try and actually see the ideas come to fruition. The time period is around the middle of 2002 in my imaginary world. The McMahon's thought they were going to have to change the name of the their company to WWE but eventually won a lawsuit in court; however, they were taken off television during this time period and all storylines came to an abrupt end.

So we return in May of 2002. The World Wrestling Federation is back led by Vince McMahon and many of the same top wrestlers. There will be only 1 show a week and that is RAW on Monday Nights. While the history of each wrestler remains the same up until this point, this is a new beginning and a new era for the WWF. Let's get started.

September - King of the Ring

    November - Survivor Series
    December - Vengeance

    A CHAMPION IS BORN

Pyro and fireworks shoot off and Vince McMahon walks out to the ring.

Vince McMahon: Welcome to the NEW WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION! And tonight is our first PPV, Clash of the Titans: A Champion is Born. That name appropriately sums up what will occur here tonight, ladies and gentleman. Because tonight, folks, we will find out who the first World Heavyweight Champion of the new WWF is. It is a history-in-the-making kind of night, we have picked the very best WRESTLERS in the world to compete. Enjoy the show, and good luck, gentleman.

Match 1: Quarterfinal of the WWF Heavyweight Title Tournament - HHH vs Chris Jericho
    - A great match to open up WWF’s first PPV. HHH came out to a chorus of boos. Both men let the crowd cheer on before going into action. HHH controlled the early part of the contest. The two men would battle outside where Jericho would take some nasty bumps including being tossed into the steel steps. Back inside the ring HHH would get a near fall. Jericho managed to get some nice offense in late. HHH would get a near fall again off a spine buster. HHH would win after hitting the pedigree.
    Spoiler

    - After the match Mene Gene is interviewing Stone Cold Steve Austin who says it doesn’t matter whose in the tournament, SCSA will beat anybody. SCSA says at the end of the night the only man left standing will be the Rattle Snake. And that's the bottom line cause Stone Cold said so.

Match 2: Quarterfinal of the WWF Heavyweight Title Tournament – Big Show vs SCSA
    - SCSA comes out to a huge pop. SCSA attacks Show early but the big man gets control right back. Big Show delivers some huge slaps to SCSA’s chest. Big Show goes for the choke slam but SCSA jumps out and hits a quick stunner! The crowd is really starting to cheer on Stone Cold now. Both men are down. The ref starts to count and gets to seven when Austin gets up first and runs and hits the Thez Press on Show. Austin hits another stunner and SCSA wins.
    Spoiler

    Match 3
: Quarterfinal of the WWF Heavyweight Title Tournament – Kurt Angle vs The Undertaker
    - Undertaker comes out on a motorcycle as The American BadA**. Angle tries to use his quickness to avoid Taker but its to no avail. Taker backs him up in the corner and goes to work with the rights and the lefts. Undertaker hits a final right hand that sends Angle down to the ground. Taker hits a sidewalk slam. Undertaker connects on a big boot to the face and he’s now slowly beating down on Angle. Kurt Angle getting no offense in at all. Undertaker hits a chokeslam and Taker picks up the quick victory.
    Spoiler

    - Mene Gene with The Rock. The Rock says that Stone Cold Steve Austin must have forgot about somebody, and that somebody is The Rock. The Rock is glad to be home in the NEW WWF. It’s a new era but the Rock is still the People’s Champ.

Match 4: Quarterfinal of the Heavyweight Title Tournament – The Rock vs Chris Benoit
    - The crowd pops huge to the Rock, the loudest of the night. Benoit goes directly to work on The Rock hitting an early series of suplexes. Benoit applies various holds and locks to slow down the Rock. Benoit goes for an early Crippler Crossface but The Rock slides out of the ring. Benoit goes flying head first between the ropes straight into the Rock. Later in the match The Rock gets back in control after the crowd hypes him up. The Rock with a couple of rights. A quick kick followed by a DDT. He hits the People’s Elbow and wins.
    Spoiler

    - The Game’s music hits and he wastes no time getting to the ring

Match 5: Semifinal of the WWF Heavyweight Title Tournament - The Rock vs HHH
    - The announcers emphasize out much of an advantage HHH has with the Rock having just fought. HHH gets in the ring and slowly shows off an evil grin. The Rock struggles to get up, stares at HHH and tells him to “Just Bring It”. HHH runs at The Rock and the beat down is on. The Game pulls out all the stops. Spine busters, knees to the face, clotheslines. He goes for a pin and The Rock kicks out. HHH hits a pile driver. Quick pin attempt and a kick out. HHH starting to get frustrated after a few more near falls. He goes for the pedigree when The Rock grabs his legs, flips him on his back and applies the sharpshooter. HHH screams in pain and in shock. After a few close attempts he finally grabs the ropes and crawls out of the ring. The crowd cheers on The Rock. HHH goes up the steps and the two stare down. HHH gets in the ring and The Rock runs at him with a clothesline. HHH gets up and he gets hit by another. The Rock hypes up the crowd and waits on HHH to stand up. He finally does and reverses the Rocks clothesline into an spine buster! The Rock goes down and HHH picks him up and hits the Pedigree. The Rock can’t kick out this time.
    Spoiler

Match 6: Semifinal of the WWF Heavyweight Title Tournament – The Undertaker vs Stone Cold Steve Austin
    - Undertaker comes out first riding on his motorcyle. Then the glass breaks and outcomes Stone Cold Steve Austin. He storms down into the ring and the two immediately go at it. Taker’s quick striking backs Austin into the corner, but Stone Cold dodges a right hand and leaks out. And on comes Austin. He gives Taker all he’s got and then some with fist after fist. The ref tries to get in between the two but Austin pushes him out of the way and goes after The Undertaker once again. Taker catches one of Austin’s punches and then delivers a few of his own. He bounces off the ropes and delivers a jumping clothesline and both men are layed out. After the ref makes it to a 5 count both men go at it again. This time with Taker getting control. He delivers the classic Undertaker style of offense. Big strikes, leg drops, sidewalk slams. Taker delivers a huge boot to Stone Cold and rears his right hand back foreshadowing a chokeslam… It looks like this one could be about over… The lights go off in the arena!!...
    - They flash back on and Undertaker is layed out flat in the ring. Austin and the ref look around and see no one in sight. Austin quickly gets on Taker to pick up the win. Taker finally gets up and storms out of the ring.
