What-If WWE ed.: Daniel Bryan never got injured? (Universe)

I'm going to be starting a series of dynasties throughout the boards with a series of various what-if scenarios. For wrestling, my scenario is simple: Daniel Bryan never relinquishes the WWE Championship after Wrestlemania 30 due to his neck injuries and continues as champion past Extreme Rules. I'm going to rebook the WWE starting at WrestleMania 30 since there are some decisions I'd like to change on that card, and then continue on from there.

    So without further ado:

    WrestleMania 30
Pre-Show: The Usos (c) def. Los Matadores, The Real Americans, and RybAxel to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships
Daniel Bryan def. Triple H to be added to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship main event
The Shield def. The New Age Outlaws and Kane
Cesaro wins the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
    Bray Wyatt def. John Cena
    The Undertaker def. Brock Lesnar
AJ Lee wins the Vickie Guerrero Invitational to retain the WWE Divas Championship
Daniel Bryan def. Randy Orton (c) and Batista to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

      WWE RAW
      Opening Segment:

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon come down to the ring.

Triple H: As you all know, I lost to Daniel Bryan last night, and he went on to win the title. So, this is what I'm gonna do to make sure he doesn't hold that belt for very long. Brad Maddox, to quote my father in law, has been FIRED as the RAW GM. And his replacement, or should I say replacements, are none other than ME and my beautiful wife Stephanie. And our first order of business is to STRIP Daniel Bryan...

At this announcement, the crowd goes nuts. "NO" chants break out and boos rain on Triple H.

Triple H: No no no, he's still the WWE Champion for now. But the new SmackDown general manager has requested that the World Heavyweight Championship be defended on his brand, so I obliged. There will be a tournament on SmackDown for the belt, and it will end at Extreme Rules in an Extreme Rules match for the title. But as for RAW, I need Orton and Batista out here now.

Orton and Batista come down to the ring

Randy Orton: Look Hunter, I know we failed last night. But give me another shot at that vanilla midget Daniel Bryan, one-on-one, and I'll take back the title.
Batista: No, it needs to be me taking on the little pipsqueak. I won the Royal Rumble and I still am owed a one-on-one title match.

Triple H: Look, neither of you deserve a rematch right now. I have already selected Bryan's Extreme Rules opponent and you all will find out who it is later tonight. But for now, I've got another announcement. We're bringing back the World Tag Team Championships and you two are getting the titles. Your first defense is... RIGHT NOW, against a new team here on Monday Night RAW.

      Match #1
WWE World Tag Team Championship - Randy Orton and Batista (c) vs. ???

A referee comes out and hands Orton and Batista the titles. They wait in the ring for their opponents...

      Spoiler

The match starts and Batista locks up with Shad. Orton and Batista are very angry and focused on this match. Batista dominates and ends up hitting a spinebuster on Shad, knocking JTG off the apron, and tagging in Orton for an RKO! Batista tags back in and nails the Batista Bomb for the easy win.

Randy Orton and Batista defeat Cryme Tyme to retain the WWE World Tag Team Championship

After the match The Shield run down and beat down Orton and Batista! Ambrose with Dirty Deeds to Orton and Rollins with the Curb Stomp on Batista. Reigns lifts Orton for the Triple Powerbomb, and then they nail it on Batista.

Triple H appears on the stage
Triple H: Alright, enough is enough! I've had it with you three thinking you run this place! Ambrose, you're defending your US Championship TONIGHT against the winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, Cesaro! And Rollins and Reigns, you're gonna be in a 2-on-3 Handicap match against the Wyatt Family! That match starts:

Match #2: Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns vs. The Wyatt Family
Rollins and Reigns put up a good effort but the numbers game was just too much. Harper nails a discus clothesline on Rollins and Rowan floors Reigns sending him outside of the ring. Rowan and Harper lift up Rollins and Bray hits Sister Abigail for the win.

The Wyatt Family def. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns

Match #3: Xavier Woods (w/ R-Truth) vs. Tensai (w/ Brodus Clay)
Quick match, Tensai overpowers Woods and pins him quickly.

      Tensai def. Xavier Woods

Brodus Clay: Woods and Truth, a few months ago you guys stole our valets, the beautiful Funkadactyls, Cameron and Naomi. We want em back, so we're challenging you guys to a tag team match at Extreme Rules. The winners get the rights to their services.

R-Truth: You want those two back? You're gonna have to come and take them! We accept, but know that at Extreme Rules, you're gonna get GOT!

Match #4: WWE United States Championship - Dean Ambrose (c) vs. Cesaro (w/ Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter)
Rollins and Reigns came down to the ring, but were informed by Justin Roberts that by order of Triple H, they were banned from ringside.

This match was very back and forth. Ambrose nailed Dirty Deeds on Cesaro but Zeb distracted the ref, allowing Swagger to hit Ambrose from behind. Cesaro would then put Ambrose in the Swing and then nail the Neutralizer for the win and the title!

Cesaro def. Dean Ambrose to WIN the WWE United States Championship

After the match, Swagger came in and nailed a Gutwrench Powerbomb on Ambrose. The Real Americans pose over a fallen Ambrose and Cesaro holds the US Title.

Main Event: WWE Championship: Daniel Bryan (c) vs. John Cena
Triple H booked this match to remind Daniel Bryan of what he can do to him, as Cena was who he beat for the WWE Title back at SummerSlam but was then attacked and Randy Orton cashed in the Money in the Bank.

Cena wants to regain the title, so he has no mercy on his friend Bryan. It actually looks like he will win the match, but the lights go out.

Once they come up, The Wyatt Family is in the ring! Bray beat Cena at Wrestlemania and it looks like he's not done yet! The Wyatts beat down both men and the referee calls for the bell.

Daniel Bryan vs. John Cena ends in a no contest

Suddenly, Triple H's voice is heard.

Triple H: See Daniel, I'm gonna make your life a living hell. Speaking of hell, here's your opponent for Extreme Rules!

Triple H: At Extreme Rules, it will be Daniel Bryan vs. Kane for the WWE Championship!

Kane goes down to the ring and nails a chokeslam on both Cena and Bryan. The show ends with Kane and the Wyatts standing over Cena and Bryan.

        WWE SmackDown

Paul Heyman comes down to the ring

Paul Heyman: Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman. I am the NEW general manager of SmackDown, and tonight, we are going to kick off our tournament for the WWE Heavyweight Championship. 16 former World Champions are going to face off. We will have 4 matches tonight, 4 matches next week, and then the 4 quarterfinal matches in 2 weeks. Then, on the SmackDown before Extreme Rulemy s, there will be 2 matches to determine the title match at Extreme Rules. So, without further ado, tonight we will have Alberto Del Rio vs. Batista, my client Brock Lesnar vs. Big Show, Jack Swagger vs. Dolph Ziggler, and Christian vs. a mystery return to the WWE roster.

Match #1: WWE Heavyweight Championship Tournament Round #1
        Alberto Del Rio vs. Batista

These two faced off at Elimination Chamber and there's still bad blood between them. Batista, still angry about losing the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania, quickly gets the upper hand and destroys Del Rio with the Batista Bomb.

Batista def. Alberto Del Rio to advance in the tournament

Match #2: WWE Heavyweight Championship Tournament Round #1
        Brock Lesnar vs. Big Show

More history between these two giants. Heyman is at ringside observing the match. Show manages to keep Lesnar in check, and he is setting up for the WMD when Heyman grabs his leg. Show turns around to look at Heyman and gets grabbed from behind by Lesnar for a HUGE German! Lesnar picks up Show for the F5 and nails it. Lesnar into the Kimura lock and Show has to tap.

Brock Lesnar def. Big Show to advance in the tournament

Paul Heyman: In 2 weeks it's gonna be Batista vs. Brock Lesnar! Batista, you better come ready and focused cause you're going one-on-one with the Beast Incarnate!

Match #3: The Bella Twins vs. The Funkadactyls
A quick cool down match in between the tournament matches. The end comes when Naomi misses the Rear View on Nikki and gets hit by the Rack Attack.

The Bella Twins def. The Funkadactyls

Paul Heyman comes back down to the ring.

Paul Heyman: Oh I almost forgot, there's gonna be ANOTHER new title introduced to the WWE! The Women's Championship is returning, and we're giving it to a current champion down in NXT who is relinquishing her NXT Women's Title to become the WWE Women's Champ!

        https://youtu.be/kJ1vSQRyIdA

Paige: That's right, I'm here on the main roster and I'm ready to defend my title against all comers! At Extreme Rules, I'm gonna have an open challenge for my first ever match and title defense, so all you ladies in the back better get ready for the RamPaige!

Match #4: WWE Heavyweight Championship Tournament Round #1
Jack Swagger (w/ Cesaro and Zeb Colter) vs. Dolph Ziggler

These two are a former tag team that broke up. The difference in this match was the Real Americans at ringside. Zeb distracted the ref allowing Cesaro to nail a Very European Uppercut on Ziggler. A groggy Ziggler turns around into a Gutwrench Powerbomb by Swagger! Swagger with the Patriot Lock and Ziggler has to tap.

Jack Swagger def. Dolph Ziggler to advance in the tournament

Zeb Colter: Over the past couple of weeks, the Real Americans have really been making a name for themselves. Cesaro won the Andre the Giant Battle Royal and the US Championship, and Jack Swagger is in the quarterfinals of the Heavyweight Title tournament. But, you know, something just doesn't seem right about that. See Cesaro, a real American should be holding that US Title, not a foreigner.

Out of nowhere Swagger decks Cesaro and puts him in the Patriot Lock!

Zeb Colter: Cesaro, you're not a Real American and you never were! Jack Swagger doesn't need your help to become the Heavyweight Champ!

Match #5: WWE Heavyweight Championship Tournament Round #1
        Christian vs. ????

Christian is standing in the ring waiting for his opponent when Paul Heyman comes to the ring again.

Paul Heyman: I am proud to introduce a former Paul Heyman Guy who has been absent from the WWE since the Royal Rumble due to a... contract dispute. Once he heard that I was going to be in charge of SmackDown, he renegotiated his contract, which includes certain... benefits, shall we say. I'm proud to introduce to all of you...

        https://youtu.be/tzIjQtoGWwQ

CM Punk: Well folks, I'm back, and it's clobbering time! I'm gonna take that Heavyweight Title and never look back.

Match #5: WWE Heavyweight Championship Tournament Round #1
        Christian vs. CM Punk

Punk looks like he never took a break from the ring as he makes quick work of Christian. Punk finishes with a GTS for the win.
CM Punk def. Christian to advance in the tournament.

        https://youtu.be/koXgDhB5IyU

Brock Lesnar: I don't know what Paul is up to, but if you think you're the boss around here just cause he re-signed you, you're wrong! I'm gonna dominate this tournament and win the title.

Lesnar and Punk face off as SmackDown goes off the air.

Confirmed Matches for WWE Extreme Rules:
WWE Championship - Extreme Rules: Daniel Bryan (c) vs. Kane
        WWE Heavyweight Championship Tournament Final
WWE Women's Championship Open Challenge: Paige (c) vs. ???

Good start! I am enjoying the first Raw and Smackdown styles!

I do have one minor suggestion, but like some of us do, maybe put the winners in spoilers so we have a little more of a surprise before the end!

I can't wait for Brock and Batista, and Punk taking a few months off to "heal" I like more than him leaving forever.

Thanks so much man! I enjoy reading your universes although I'm more of the silent lurker type.

I will definitely put the winners in spoilers from now on, I thought about doing that but wasn't sure if that was the route I wanted to go.

Yeah Brock and Batista is gonna be a great big man matchup. Punk... you're just gonna have to wait and see what happens with him, but I have a plan for him.

Edit: Also question for you/anyone else reading: Do the videos I posted show up or is it just the links? I'm not sure if they're showing up on computers because I just see the link, but on my phone I see the video.

Well since NXT is one hour, I figured I would do less matches per show, and since I wanted to have a triple threat for the title, I would do those 3 matches in 1 show. Plus since my main roster shows didn't feature the women very much (only 1 match) I figured I'd give NXT's women a better feature, especially considering we are in the pre-Divas Revolution era of WWE and the 4 Horsewomen were still in NXT at the time (Becky didn't even debut on NXT TV until June 2014).

I'll try that next show and see if it works, thanks for the suggestion!

                          RAW - Week #2

John Cena comes down to the ring

John Cena: Alright, I know I failed against Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania, but the man apparently doesn't know where to stop since he cost me the WWE Championship, so at Extreme Rules, what do you say to you and me in an EXTREME RULES match?

                          The lights go out

Bray Wyatt: Yeesss, John, I accept. On one condition: you beat Luke Harper tonight, one-on-one in the main event.

John Cena: Alright, you got it. Harper, you better get ready for the fight of your life.

Match #1: Big E vs. Yoshi Tatsu
A quick squash here as the IC champion destroys Tatsu with the Big Ending. He covers Tatsu but kicks out at 2. He goes over and talks to the ref, who talks to the timekeeper. Big E hits another Big Ending, and covers Tatsu. The ref counts to 5 before the timekeeper rings the bell.

                          Spoiler

After the match Big E celebrates but turns around to a Bull Hammer from Bad News Barrett! Barrett grabs a mic.

Bad News Barrett: Well I'm afraid I've got some bad news for the WWE roster. Wade Barrett is back in action, and I talked to Triple H and got an Intercontinental Title match at Extreme Rules!

                          (Commercial)

Match #2: Rusev (w/Lana) vs. Camacho
Rusev is debuting on RAW from NXT after appearing in the Royal Rumble. He makes quick work of Camacho, nailing him with the Machka Kick and locking in the Accolade. Camacho quickly submits.

                          Spoiler

Lana: I am the Ravishing Russian, Lana, and this is Rusev, who is going to CRUSH the WWE roster! He wants a shot at the United States Championship, as he wants to show the pathetic Americans that Russia is the superior nation, and Rusev is the super athlete.

Cesaro: Even though I'm not an American and I was just betrayed by the so-called Real Americans, Rusev I accept your challenge.

Cesaro is attacked from behind by Jack Swagger! Zeb Colter has a mic

Zeb Colter: Rusev, just because we have one foreign threat to deal with, don't think we aren't looking ahead. Once Jack Swagger wins the WWE Heavyweight Championship and squashes the bug that is Cesaro, he's gonna come straight for you.

                          (Commercial)

Match #3: Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre (w/ Heath Slater) vs. Los Matadores (w/ El Torito)
Jinder dominates this match, never tagging in Drew. However, El Torito grabs his leg which leads to Fernando taking him down. Fernando goes up top and misses a splash, leading to both men going to the apron. Fernando tags in Diego but Drew jumps off the apron! This leads to Diego hitting a Back Stabber on Jinder for the win.

                          Spoiler

Drew McIntyre: I'm sick and tired of this stupid band, and I want to be taken seriously again in the WWE! That's why I'm teaming up with 3 of my best friends, 1 from the UK and 2 from Ireland!

Out to the ramp comes Wade Barrett, Sheamus, and a new face we haven't seen in the WWE!

Drew McIntyre: Wade as you all know is going after the Intercontinental Title, and Sheamus needs no introduction as a former World Champion. But my other new partner does need one. One of the most decorated independent wrestlers ever, despite his small stature, also from Ireland, the Prince, the Demon, Finn Balor!

Finn Balor: That's right, the Demon King is here in the WWE! Myself as well as my fellow countrymen are gonna shake things up around here! We're gonna show everybody that you don't mess with.. the United Kingdom!

                          (Commercial)

Match #4: WWE Divas Championship: AJ Lee (c) (w/ Tamina) vs. Aksana
AJ makes quick work of Aksana, quickly locking in the Black Widow for the submission win.

                          Spoiler

AJ Lee: Nobody on this roster can stop me! I outlasted every other woman on the roster in the Vickie Guerrero Invitational, and with Tamina by my side I am unstoppable!

Tamina out of nowhere clotheslines AJ Lee!

Tamina: AJ, I'm sick and tired of playing second fiddle to you! I am the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Snuka and I will not be disrespected! I want you, one on one, at Extreme Rules for the Divas Championship!

                          (Commercial)

Main Event: John Cena vs. Luke Harper (w/ The Wyatt Family)
Cena gets the upper hand on Harper but is cautious due to the Wyatts at ringside. Cena gets the STF locked in on Harper but Rowan runs in for the DQ.

                          Spoiler

The Wyatts beat down Cena until the Usos come for the save! Stereo superkicks to Harper and Rowan, and then a double splash onto Bray Wyatt! Cena gets up and he and the Usos celebrate until RAW goes off the air.

Match #1: WWE Heavyweight Championship Tournament
                              John Cena vs. Mark Henry

Cena tries to focus on this match but with the threat of the Wyatt Family looming, he loses control to Henry who is trying to prove he still has a lot left in the tank. Cena eventually does his usual comeback routine, but as he hits the 5 Knuckle Shuffle the lights go out and Bray Wyatt appears on the big screen.

Bray Wyatt: John, apparently I can't get it through to you. I am the new face of fear and new face of the WWE. So I decided to take matters into my own hands.

The camera cuts to reveal Nikki Bella unconscious and tied to a chair.

Cena leaves the ring to go chase after Bray and the referee counts him out.

A frustrated Orton makes quick work of Mysterio. He nails the middle rope DDT and stalks Rey for the RKO. Orton covers for the quick win.

Brie is obviously concerned about her sister, and it shows as she quickly gets overpowered by Tamina, who is trying to prove that she's worthy of a shot against AJ Lee. Tamina nails a Samoan Drop to finish off Brie, and covers for the win.

                              Spoiler

AJ Lee: Tamina, this is ridiculous. You know you've been riding my coattails for a long time. I accept your challenge, and at Extreme Rules I'm gonna prove why I'm the champ!
