Horrendous start of the season for Fisher
It wasn't start the 16 year old American was looking for but the bright side is there is no where to go but up. Fisher finished a disappointing 26hth at Jerez. "I made a stupid horrendous rookie mistake and laid the bike down going into turn 1 on lap 3. Thankfully it didn't tear anything up but when each rider is within a second of each other, that just kills you."

      Another disappointing finish for Fisher
When Sam Fisher was asked his thoughts after this race all he could be heard muttering was "Stupid, stupid, stupid" before walking way.

Alittle while Fisher came back to give a official statement. "I have to get better. I qualified 24th, still not great but we kept at it and I was fastest in the warmup. Unfortunately rookie mistakes killed us again as I drove it in too deep again and was extremely lucky not to lay it down. And when we are all separated by a couple seconds, those mistakes kill you. And that mistake led to me pushing too hard to try and catch up and of course that led to even more mistakes. (I) Also have to get better at tire wear. The rear tire was gone with about 5 laps to go and was like riding on ice."

Fisher shaking his head talking to race engineer after the race.

Best finish of the season for Fisher at Assen
It still wasn't as good as the young American was wanting but it's a improvement. "I'm making small steps and hopefully before long I can break through into a top 10."

Fisher qualified 22nd and finished 21st. He would have had his first top 20 of the season but a 1/2 a second time penalty bumped him down to 21st.

Fisher wins at Red Bull Ring
After a season best 16th place finish last week, Sam Fisher finally broke through at the Red Bull Ring - Spielberg with grabbing the pole and the win.

"I've been off pace all season. Not sure what it was about this track that fit my riding style so well but I was over second faster all weekend long. Hopefully that momentum continues the final two weeks of the season."

There are two races left in the Rookie Cup season.

Yep PS4. Since it's the offseason and 20 will come out in 4 months or so, It's on sale for $18 on Playstation store. It's a fun decent game so far.
