    TEW | The Rewrite

Hello everyone! Bard here and this is not your typical Universe Mode, or really even “Dynasty” for this section.

This is Bard’s Historical Re-Write! I will be covering World Wrestling Entertainment only, not World Championship Wrestling nor Extreme Championship Wrestling in this rewrite…I was a WWF kid, lol.

We will start all the way back with the first Pay-Per-View, change the card, and go from there. I will not do any Raw or eventual Smackdown shows, only PPVs!

This is simply something fun for me to do when I feel burned out or need a break from Universe Mode this year, and this is being played on TEW, which makes things very easy on me.
Come hang with me on YouTube! I stream/make videos on a variety of games from sports, to action, to adventure!

        The Wrestling Classic
        November 7th, 1985

        First Round Tournament Match
        Adrian Adonis vs. Terry Funk

Remember, this tournament will determine who faces the winner of Hogan vs. Piper in the Main Event of WrestleMania 2.

Terry Funk in the closing sequence of the match delivers a pile-driver to get the pin-fall over Adonis in 3:47.

        First Round Tournament Match
        Dynamite Kid vs. Nikolai Volkoff

Dynamite Kid rushes Nikolai, and gets an amazing school-boy pin! 0:09.

        First Round Tournament Match
        Randy Savage vs. Ivan Putski

Nice back and forth action before a hot streak of Randy Savage leads to a top rope Elbow in 4:45.

        First Round Tournament Match
Ricky Steamboat vs. Davey Boy Smith

Match of the night to this point! These two would not accept a loss, and it was a last second count out sprint that sees Steamboat getting into the ring right before the 10 count, but Davey Boy was not as lucky. 11:23.

        First Round Tournament Match
        Junkyard Dog vs. Iron Sheik

A very fun slug-fest! JYD and Sheik batter each other, and JYD gets an accidental cut over his left eye. JYD finishes Sheik off with a headbutt in 6:25.

        First Round Tournament Match
Tito Santana vs. The Magnificent Muraco w/Mr. Fuji

Very fun pace match that sees Muraco try to slow it down, but Tito hits a nice cross-body to finish off Muraco in 4:17.

        First Round Tournament Match
        Paul Orndorff vs. Bob Orton

In this final match of the first round, we see some controversy. Paul and Bob had a solid match, but ended with a cast shot by Orton, but also a low-blow by Orndorff. This led to the referee throwing out the match, and NEITHER men get to advance! 6:28.

        Quarter Finals Match
        Terry Funk vs. Dynamite Kid

Terry Funk really made Dynamite Kid work for this one, no sub 10 second match here. Good back and forth, and we see Kid get out of a Piledriver attempt by Funk into an inside cradle! 7:44.

        Quarter Finals Match
        Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat

In a highly anticipated battle we see these two give their all in this one. Steamboat goes for a cross-body late in this match, but misses! Savage heads up top and connects with the Elbow! 9:52.

        Quarter Finals Match
        Junkyard Dog vs. Tito Santana

The Intercontinental Champion fought his heart out against JYD. As it was looking like Tito was about to put down Dog, out came Paul Orndorff!? Paul distracts Tito, which leads to a headbutt by Dog for the victory. 8:00.

        WWF Championship Match
Roddy Piper (c) vs. Hulk Hogan

Highly anticipated rematch from WrestleMania 1. We see these two go to war, with Piper giving out all of his dirty tricks. We see an amazing Hulk-Up, in which Hogan comes back, and defeats Piper to capture his second WWF Championship. 13:02.

Tournament Finals | Winner Faces Hulk Hogan At WrestleMania 2
Dynamite Kid vs. Randy Savage vs. Junkyard Dog

This was a rare, and very fun triple threat to main event the second ever PPV for the WWF. Kid runs all over the ring taking out Savage and JYD. Savage then gets into the quick offense, but JYD came in and overpowered the two men. JYD connects with a Headbutt taking down Kid, but Savage dropkicks sends JYD to the outside! Macho Man heads up top, and connects with the Elbow onto Kid! 1-2-3! 16:08.

          WWF SuperShow I
          February 9th, 1986

          Singles Match
George "The Animal" Steele vs. Nikolai Volkoff

Some slow pace back and forth to get us started with the third ever WWF Pay-Per-View. Steele manages to work Volkoff often in this one, but a brutal bear hug forces Steele to submit. 4:39.

          Singles Match
The Magnificent Muraco w/Mr. Fuji vs. Jake Roberts

The nice hard-hitting affair between these two men, in conclusion, we see a very nice counter by Roberts into a DDT for the win. Afterward, Jake calls out Andre The Giant for a one-on-one match at WrestleMania. Andre comes out and accepts! 8:02

          Intercontinental Championship Match
Tito Santana (c) vs. Junkyard Dog

This match was stemming from the Wrestling Classic in which JYD got a pinfall victory over the IC champ. Great back and forth, as we thought we were going to see Tito finish off JYD, Paul Orndorff comes down and distracts Tito! JYD takes advantage, and finishes off Tito with the Headbutt! 11:19.

          Singles Match
The Fabulous Moolah vs. Misty Blue

This match ended in a No-Contest with Moolah not even letting this match begin and taking out Misty. However, Velvet McIntyre would come down and make the save! 5:01.

          Tag Team Championship Match
The Dream Team (c) vs. The British Bulldogs

This was a going to become an instant classic tag team match, but it was cut short with a Greg Valentine low-blow on Dynamite Kid. 7:44.

          Singles Match
          Bret Hart vs. Pedro Morales

The 44-year-old, Pedro Morales, proved he could still go with the 29-year-old, Bret Hart. These two battled with one another, but it was a miss-timed kick by Pedro that led to Bret locking in the Sharp-Shooter for the victory. 6:52.

Singles Match | Winner Faces Hulk Hogan At WrestleMania 2
Macho Man Randy Savage vs. King Kong Bundy

King Kong Bundy has been on a rampage as of late. Randy Savage and Junkyard Dog have been feuding since November, and Bundy has declared if he can defeat both JYD and Randy Savage, he should face Hogan at WrestleMania! Bundy defeated JYD with a plethora of distractions, led by Macho Man, and now if Bundy defeats Macho Man, he gets Hogan.

Macho Man did a great job out-moving Bundy, but once Bundy caught Savage it looked bad. However, Randy kept working back and it looked like Savage had this match won! He was heading up top for the Elbow, but JYD comes out, and distracts Savage! Savage goes for the Elbow, but Bundy moves, and then flattens Savage with a Splash! 1-2-3. 10:40.

Junkyard Dog (c) vs. Macho Man Randy Savage

This has become a blood feud, and blood we saw. JYD busted open Savage, but Macho Man was not going to quit this match. A missile dropkick and a top rope Elbow puts away JYD! 9:19.

            Singles Match
            Paul Orndorff vs. Tito Santana

We go from one blood feud to another! Paul worked over Tito for the majority of the match, but near the end with the crowd behind him, Tito was overcoming Paul!
