Re: 2010 Recruiting Thread
At this point, Joyner's waiting until signing day.. thats from his uncle.
Ohio State is in his top 2 and he actually said Ohio State leads, but I'll that for a grain of salt. He'll go to one of the Big 3, if Ohio State actually lands him it'll be Tressel's best recruiting job, ever.Ohio State Buckeyes | Carolina Panthers | Charlotte Hornets | Cincinnati RedsComment

And we also have a good shot at WR Kenny Shaw, who is the teammate of 2010 WR commit Ricardo Miller.
One more thing, sounds like we have good shot for in-state DT Johnathon Hankins.Last edited by sportznut02; 02-09-2009, 06:10 PM.Comment

Re: 2010 Recruiting Thread
he made it official today, sounds like we will have a good shot with Lo Wood CB out of Florida and teammate of 09 commit Jermey Gallon.

Re: 2010 Recruiting Thread
Okay, I'm just saying, Hankins straight up said Florida's his #1 school today. He obviously could end up at Michigan, though. Why hasn't he been offered by anyone yet? Grades?Comment

Re: 2010 Recruiting Thread
Where does he rank among the other 2010 prospects in Michigan? IF UW lands Hankins, do you see UW being a player for Gholston, or is he a lock to stay instate or go to another elite program (Florida)?Comment

Re: 2010 Recruiting Thread
Hankins will probably be around the bottom of the top 10 in the state (that's pretty good this year though).
Gholston and Hankins have both said they'd be interested in going to the same college, but Jonas Gray and Kenny Demens said that for the longest time two years ago, right up until the point Demens committed to Michigan.
Gholston's an MSU lean, but UM is closing fast, and Hankins has a family full of pro-Michigan people. So we'll see.Comment

Gholston is one I wish Ohio State would've gotten in on... I'd put my money on Sparty right now though.Ohio State Buckeyes | Carolina Panthers | Charlotte Hornets | Cincinnati RedsComment

Some entertaining news here...
Nick Montana is Joe Montana's son and a top QB prospect for '09.. well here's a basic summary of what he told Tressel a few months ago:
