On Monday evening the Rivals100 member finally got confirmation that the rumors that he had been hearing for the past several weeks had come to fruition. Florida running back coach Kenny Carter called Brown on Monday to inform him that he is leaving the Gator program to take a coaching job elsewhere.

"I understand he had to do what he had to do," said Brown."I know he has a good relationship with coach [Charlie] Strong and he's going to have a better position with more money coming in for his family."
When asked how this latest news affects his status, Brown replied, "I mean I'm still committed to Florida. I'm going to wait it out and see what happens. I'm confused. You're supposed to commit to a school, but you get to know the coaches and they feel like family."
Brown sounded as though he feels like his 'family' is abandoning him.
"All the coaches that I got to know over the last year, that I dealt with over the summer, they're all leaving. I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm going to have to talk about it with my family."
"I've talked to coaches from Tennessee, Florida State, Clemson and Auburn," said Brown.
When asked to put a percentage on the level of his Florida commitment, Brown replied, "I'm going to wait it out and see what coaches Florida brings in and see how it goes. I'm shocked, but I'm still committed to Florida right now. I'm going to wait it out."

No coach is listed. In the interviews that are listed from this past year, he says he speaks with Lane Kiffin alot. Ed Orgeron is mentioned as well. His sister goes to Tennessee State, his close friends are LaMarcus Thompson and Nigel Thornton of Tennessee. He grew up a Georgia fan and his father is a gators fan.I dont remember there names but they were allot of fun....Comment

From the AA combine notes:
Floyd is expected to put four hats on the table but will select from only three. He'll have a Gator hat, an Ohio State hat and a North Carolina hat and he's expected to put a Temple hat out as well to represent Philadelphia and show respect for his home school.
In the end, this seems to be down to Ohio State and Florida and it might be closer than originally anticipated.
Fast forward to October and his official to Ohio State put the Buckeyes in the lead due to comfort level with the staff and other factors, including his preference to play in colder weather. Floyd finished out his officials with a trip to North Carolina on Dec. 18, but the Heels apparently failed to crack his top two. Now just days away from a decision, Ohio State still has the edge for many reasons, but it is not a big edge at all. In addition to the factors previously mentioned, the Urban Meyer situation and the loss of Charlie Strong are both minuses for the Gators chances.I dont remember there names but they were allot of fun....Comment
