I don't know where he was from before his sophomore year of high school, but the first year he started as a high school quarterback was his sophomore year in Frisco, TX, so I'm not really sure what you're referencing.WUSTLComment

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
You want to call other programs irrelevant, look in the mirror. In the past 50 years, Auburn has 0 MNCs and 3 outright conference championships, which is on the same level of Ole Miss. So really don't call other programs irrelevant when Auburn has next to none to begin with.Comment

My bad, I thought he was from Arkansas when he was a former Arkansas commit. Either way, he was well out of region for Fisher.Comment

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
The major difference is that we realize that Auburn isn't a national championship caliber team in 2010. Despite being a far better program than your school the last 9 years, we don't pretend that we are competing with Florida, Oklahoma, and USC outside of our brief run from 2004-2006. We don't have to make several topics comparing our players and coach's to Alabama's at this point because we know there isn't much comparison.
We don't jump in to say that a recruit with offers from Ohio St, USC, and Alabama wasn't good enough to get an offer from Auburn because we know that Auburn would take that player in a heartbeat unlike you who believe that FSU actually doesn't offer Florida/Alabama/Texas recruits because they don't want them.
Again, continue to bang your chest for your school you never attended that is 10 states away from you that hasn't been remotely relevant in a decade.Comment

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
Kiehl is a Dual threat QB who is the perfect match for Auburn's offense, while FSU runs more of a drop back pro style system, which doesn't fit Frazier very well. That's why he doesn't hold an offer from FSU, not because of a lack of skill.AUBURN - COWBOYS - RANGERS - INTERComment

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
This is pretty ridiculous considering you have no idea why FSU did not offer Frazier. You are just assuming it is due to Fisher not thinking that Frazier had the skills.Last edited by auburntigersfan; 06-01-2010, 01:31 AM.WUSTLComment

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
There is a similarity though... Both Auburn and FSU have lost to USF in recent years at home. I kid, but forreal, back on topic.....Comment

I don't see Florida and Miami fans in here. This is one single FSU fan.Comment

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
FSU recruits both styles, look at E.J. Manuel and current recruit Nick Marshall. It depends on the cycle for what style they bring in any given year. Last year it was a pro style QB in Clint Trickett, before that it was a hybrid of the 2 in Will Secord (6'3-4 runs a 4.66).Comment

Sweet Jesus Massnole. No. One. CARES.
Seriously...it's almost impressive how you can just go..and go..and go on one of the stupidest topics I've seen yet.
BACK TO RECRUITING!!!
In an attempt to steer this trainwreck back on course.....
Butler, NC Athlete Kris Frost has narrowed his choices down to a top 5 of Michigan, Auburn, Cal, LSU, and North Carolina in no particular order.
Butler is 6'3" 210 athlete who can play LB or WR. He's projected to be a Rivals Top 100 player.AUBURN TIGERS

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
The Rivals 100 comes out this afternoon.
The Rivals 250 comes out Wed. afternoon.
Some of the guys that AU is recruiting hard that may be 100 members today...
DB Jonathan Rose, ATH Kris Frost, RB Mike Blakeley, RB Demetrius Hart, OT Greg Robinson, DB Erique Florence, QB Kiehl Frazier (commit), DE Ray Drew, OT Brey Cook, DT Gabe Wright
According to most of the AU "insiders" on various boards, AU leads for Blakeley, Rose, Florence, and Wright. They are top 3 for Hart (AU, Bammer, Michigan), top 2 for Robinson (AU or LSU), top 5 for Frost (Michigan, Auburn, Cal, LSU, UNC), and top 5 for Drew.
Should be fun to see who the 5 stars, etc. are today.
We all know recruiting rankings can be wrong, but still...it's always fun to look at.AUBURN TIGERS
