Which should go without saying. Kentucky is in the south.

Miami has a poor ranking because the players committed are sub par. For a little bit of perspective, Florida currently has 15 players committed, 3 more than Miami, but is ranked 18th. And Gator fans are disappointed....

I'm laughing if you consider Kentucky a southern hotbed for talent. You're right, Kentucky is the home state so he should be expected to recruit what talent is there, but what I was referring to was the way he and his staff have gone into the talent rich states and recruited kids out of places like Georgia, Alabama and Florida.

Two thirds of the current class is from these states with almost half from Florida. We haven't seen many Florida recruits since the days of Petrino.

Compared to where Miami was in recruiting a month ago, a 35-45 ranked class would be a huge improvement. Nobody really knows how good or bad a recruiting class for at least 2 years after the class signs.

ok.........thats funny. Growing up around these parts, it was always considered the Midwest.

Even though Brady Hoke lost 4 star RB Dee Hart and 4 star CB Dallas Crawford, he signed 2 star athlete Tamani Carter, 3 star DE Keith Heitzman, 3 star athlete Ramon Taylor, and 2 star kicker/punter Matt Wile

Why so? Was there some kind of academic or personal problems with Flowers?

Hoke might've realized that UM has a ton of receivers already and we need all the bodies on defense that we can get.

Good call. I just glanced at the roster and they have like 15 players listed at WR currently.

WVU received commitments from 4* RB Andrew Buie & former Pitt commit and 4* DB Terrell Chestnut over the weekend, although Buie will still take a visit to Tennessee next weekend.

3* TE Eric Frohnapfel decommits from WVU and will sign with Marshall it appears.

Miami recruiting insider was a bit premature with this, Moore has denied commiting and is also considering UT.
