    Worst "Touchdown" Ever?

You be the judge. Have to wonder what the ref was looking at during this play.

I believe his knee was down in bounds. However, did he maintain control through the catch? I think that is also questionable.

Ding! We have a winner. That call was terrible. No way on Earth is that a catch.

First off I was joking about him getting his knee down, it not a catch.
Second there is no way that is EASILY THE WORST CALL you have ever seen, unless you dont watch much football.

You can see worse calls on a weekly basis in the ACC. That call was awful but why are we complaining about a call from years ago?

                          Are you guys serious?

The guy never even caught the ball and you say you've seen worse?

I want proof. Show me a worse call.

I've never been able to find video but from the BC-FSU game in 2005 there was a fumble at the one yard line that not only went out of bounds before the pylon and while in bounds struck a BC player who was out of bounds (which would have made it a dead ball, possession remaining with FSU) but it was ruled to be a fumble out of the endzone and possession changed hands. FSU did go on to eventually win, but that call was as bad.

It's got to be one of the worst calls ever just considering how close the officials on that side of the endzone are to the play and being that they have nearly perfect views of the action. It's one thing for an official to miss a call if he's shielded or far away or moving or something. But those two were right on top of the play, standing still, eyes fixed on the action and neither waves his hands to signal an incomplete pass.
