This one should be a shootout. Early, off the top of my head prediction:

    Auburn 41
    Arkansas 38

    In overrrrrtime.

The best part about this game being the 3:30 ET is that it bumped the Florida and Mississippi State game to 7:00 ET and onto ESPNU. That works out perfectly for "my schedule" this Saturday.

Another great Saturday of college football lies ahead...

Yeah but they already lost one of those to Bama. I believe they led by 13 in the second half.

The fact that I like Arkansas to win this game should make you feel better about it anyway.

We'll see. While I have been impressed with Auburn's offense and Cam Newton, I have been equally unimpressed with Auburn's defense. I just feel like Arkansas is the better and more complete team.

It wouldn't be the first time I was wrong. I really just want to see a good game although I like rooting for Arkansas.

I wasn't saying anything about the pick. I don't think Auburn as a team is anything special, but about the "Auburn has played a lot of close games" thing.

I just hope our good 30 minutes of football can continue being really good.

Very simple, if Auburn can get pressure on Mallett, Auburn can win. If no pressure on Mallett, no win.

                Auburn is undefeated.

They have a target on their backs, just like Alabama did this past weekend.

The good news for Aubies are they are at home & Cam Newton is their QB.

Every team has a target on their back.

It's not like if Auburn would have lost last week Arkansas was going to take 3 days off of practice this week.

I am cheering for Auburn. Just so they can beat out Bama in the West.

Actually I believe our defense is our strength right now. Ryan Mallett gets way too wiled up and our offensive line is horrid. We can't run at all. Honestly our defensive line is the second best in the SEC and while we let a lot of tackles go we still swarm the ball. Arkansas like said before lets go a lot of games. Remember when we used to win 7 overtime games?

Arkansas's D-line is pretty good, but I'd put it at number 3. LSU is bar none number 1, and I'm sure that's who you're putting Arkansas behind. Most sacks, fewest rushing yards allowed, etc. But Auburn has quietly put together some strong numbers along the line as well. Number 2 in sacks, number 1 in TFLs, number 2 in rushing yards allowed.

(obviously all ranks are in-conference only).

EDIT: I'd also like to point out that Auburn's defense isn't entirely terrible. They've only given up 13 points in the 4th quarter, including only a single touchdown. They also are ranked 40th in total yards given up. That's not great, but it's not terrible either. Most would agree it's average. Admittedly, it's pass defense that is bothersome here, especially against Arkansas and Ryan Mallett. However, if Auburn's D can step up when it counts as they have all season, they can pull out another squeaker. Anyone making a bet though, I'd recommend the over; I don't even care what it is.

Should be a barn burner. Will not be surprised if it comes down to a last possesion. Don't have a dog in the fight... so hopefully, an injury-free entertaining game.

My only prediction is that this game combines for more points than when Auburn/Arkansas face off this basketball season.

My vote is Fairly is more then Arkansas knows what to do with, disrupting Mallett early and often. I'm going with Auburn.
