Please tell me that is just a special uniform. I always liked okie states orange uniforms with the white helmet. I am just starting to get tired of all the black uniforms nowadays.

Nope. Those are the new, full-time uniforms. I thought our uniforms had a great look before and were starting to become recognizable around the college football world.

Oh well, these look OK to me. They are a much simpler and cleaner design than what I was anticipating. When I heard Nike was designing our new uniforms, I was dreading all kinds of crazy designs, colors, a giant Pistol Pete head slapped on the side of the helmet, a gun holster design on the hips of the pants, etc. I actually don't have many complaints with these, but I'll withhold final judgement until I get to see them in person.

They could remove the blue stripe from the helmet, so I wouldn't say that. I, for one, hate Penn State's uniforms. It looks like they brought them in bulk from Sams Club.

stop it, psu have the second best set-up behind michigan (well before they went to the three stripes).

At least black is part of OK State's scheme, so it's technically not BFBS.

That said, it looks pretty bad and not having names on the back looks absolutely terrible. No BCS/top tier school should go without names on the back...looks amateur.

I disagree with this. I think taking the name off the back of the jersey plays into a "team first" approach which schools like Penn State really gear themselves towards.

Is that really necessary when you are Penn State? One look at those uniforms and you know they are Penn State. Not the same with Oklahoma St though.

I'm not saying there is no need to re design the uniform, but I mean "Penn State" across the front would be more than enough, even if it was just a little 1' monogram

I disagree. I would hate if my team had a uniform like Penn State's lol, but that is their tradition and I think it works for them. I just see no reason to change it, even if it is adding Penn State in small font on the front.

For any other team I agree with you, but for Penn State I say they keep their generic look.

Georgia's PCs are kinda meh... To brite and monochromatic

I love Boise State's PCs, though (I know they're monochromatic as well, but it looks better with white then red)

Oregon's version of the Pro Combat. Nothing too radical as it's basically the dark gray version of the BCS NCG jersey.
