Yeah but most of the offenses in the Big 12 are dink-and-dunk. They've never faced a running attack like Iowa's or Wisconsin's. I don't think that matters too much; good players usually play well. But Nebraska doesn't really "know" B1G football yet.

8 teams having to put in extra time studying 1 opponent vs 1 team having to put in extra time studying 8 opponents...

        hmmm...

You're right this is totally comparable.

Well yeah its gonna take more time but its not like other big ten teams have an advantage when they play neb.

Well yea, actually they kind of do. They have more time to prepare a gameplan for Neb then vice versa.

Also if we use Penn State entering the conference as example everyone is going to play Nebraska hard, like its a rivalry game and your team is going to be pretty beat up towards the end of the year.

Every team has bulletin board material up from multiple media sources predicting Nebraska to come in and roll the conference, they have the toughest road to the BIG title of any team and I highly doubt they get there.

Wait... How do they have more time to prepare? And yeah I can see Neb struggling their first year. I never said they would win the league the first year even though I think they have a good chance.

That's not bold at all; that's what my Lindy's magazine tells me is going to happen.

As a Nebraska fan, I doubt we'll live up to the hype. We MIGHT win the division, but that's only because we're easily in the weaker of the two this year. I'm not liking the sound of the new Frankenstein offense we're installing, and I still don't have confidence in Taylor Martinez at QB. Plus our defense is built around speed and stopping the Big 12's passing attacks, and we don't have the LBs to stop a Big 10 power running game.

I'm hoping I'm wrong, but I think the conference is Wisconsin's to lose at this point.

Well even with Wisconsin I don't think they're a sure thing. I think they should be the favorite but they have a number of holes of their own. I wouldn't be surprised if some team that everyone has pegged as a bottom-feeder came out of nowhere to take the conference title this year.

It's actually called "Air Kansas" for the time being, but basically, they're trying to be physical out of the spread. It sounds like they're trying to combine a Mangino-era Kansas passing attack with the spread option, along with some I. Normally that'd get me excited, but a lack of identity on offense has been killing us since Pelini showed up, and combining three very different looks like that with what we've seen to be a very one-dimensional quarterback has me worried about this upcoming season.
