      Re: Week 1 Discussion

Northwestern probably had a few that weren't entirely genuine last night either. It was generally the same 2 players being hurt, happened multiple times to each of them. I'm certain Cal's coach made his thoughts clear about it at the post-game handshake. Cal wasn't even moving all that fast anyway.

I'm honestly shocked that the Buffs defense is playing well.

Our special teams are still **** though.

Dymonte Thomas got to the punter so fast on Saturday he blocked the kick...before it was kicked.

If he could've caught that as it was dropping and taken it to the house......

What would that even be registered as? An interception?

fumble, for an INT the arm has to be moving forward

That probably hurt, he got kicked right in the lower ribs and the pads usually aren't that low

Unless he was wearing rib protectors... That might still hurt. He kicked as hard as he could, probably.

Tom Savage looked pretty good on that first drive. I got no dog in this fight but I just hope we get a close and entertaining game.
