    Re: Week 7 Discussion

I'm actually hoping for a UTC win over the Vols saturday to put pressure on Butch to can Bajakian.

Tony Levine has announced that QB John O'Korn (the 2013 AAC freshman of the year) has been benched; Greg Ward, who had switched to WR in the offseason, will start at QB against a much improved Memphis squad.

I will say Clemson is the loudest stadium I have ever been to over Lane Stadium(on a Thursday when Miami and VT were both top 10), Neyland, a soldout UNC. It was ridiculously loud.

I think if you ask around the general consensus would be in favor of LSU. The only people who I've ever seen dispute LSU being the more intimidating stadium are Clemson fans and people who despise the SEC

I've never been to LSU and I am sure it is just as loud at the least. But I was just saying Clemson does get very very loud. As for who is the real Death Valley, I don't know. I have never had a place in the argument and have never looked into the facts. All I was saying is Clemson's Death Valley is the loudest stadium I've ever experienced.

                      Week 7 Discussion

speaking of insane, La'el Collins (and rumors say both QB's, Jennings as well as Harris) called a players-only meeting, and UF QB Mornhigweg (sic) and Willis got into a fight over a pair of cleats.

I don't recall the last time there was a players-only meeting called at LSU, and that includes the 2008 debacle, and fighting over cleats is never a good sign. So this weekend's game is looking like...well, it's not looking too good for either team.

BC opens as 4.5 point underdogs (I think that's what it was) vs. NC State. I have no clue what to expect out of the Wolfpack after the last 2 weeks.

Mehdi Abesmad out for the year, and looks like Gutapfel (So.) and Merritt (Fr.) will be playing in his spot.

Mike Knoll finally won the kicking job. About damn time.

I doubt they kick a 5* off the team for a tussle, but I've read it in several places.
