Depends on what they want and what they're willing to spend. If they want a proven coach, then pony up the cash to bring in somebody. If they want to risk it, Tom Herman, Morris at SMU, Fuente out of Memphis among others.

UGA has the money and prestige to pull a big name..... Gonna be interesting

Richt always seems to pull something out by seasons end to save his job

Chubb being out obviously helped, but half our O-line and half our D-line went out as well, so it cuts both ways.

I'm still sick about him. Hopefully he can make a full recovery. He's a beast.

It seemed like UT always was more aggressive this game when it came to play calling

          Nothing to lose type game

Definitely. Maybe Butch will learn something from it.

I won't be surprised if he stays. They've let him stay this long, unless they keep losing, I imagine they'll keep him around. I just think if their goals are playoffs, he needs to be shown the door.

Was there ever an official word on the injury? Despite the awkward angle, his kneecap held ground and was able to support and bounce his body back, so it doesn't look like it completely blew out which might mean it's nowhere near as bad as it looked.

But the way he was twisting, everything inside may have just been shred to pieces once it first came apart.

Richt said something about the injury not being as bad as looked long term wise

He will be out a while for sure though

No, there wasn't an official word. Verne and Gary even mentioned that maybe it wasn't as bad as it looked since Richt didn't seem to be as worried as you would think.

I'll be surprised if he plays again this season, but I hope I'm wrong.

Edit: From what I remember, Richt said something like "he'll be fine in the long run" at halftime.

Ahh, I see. It was a very awkward angle, but it still supported his body coming down real well, so there is a good chance it isn't nearly as bad as you'd think. Being no contact was made directly to the knee helps as well since it didn't up the chances of everything in there having a free for all on each other.

Is Doctson the best Wide Receiver in the nation?

Nah, Beckham Jr, Antonio Brown, and a few others around the NFL are better.
