It might be just me not really paying attention, but feels like offenses are down the first 3 weeks. I've seen a lot of defensive games with scores that are more 1980s/1990s like than what we've seen in recent years. Anyone else feel this way or is it my imagination?

I pulled the data and offense is actually up so far this year; I looked at through two weeks this season and the average team is scoring 30.9 PPG. Looking at the last "normal" season in 2019-2020 and the national average was 28.6 PPG...

Even I have to agree that's a weak one. And I'm all about player safe. Only defense I can think of is he's on his way to the ground. But agree... What if he stretches out from the touchdown. The defender just suppose watch?
