I really dislike watching Grantham led defenses…we can’t tackle, we are constantly out of position, and take too many unnecessary gambles.

Wake Forest is #13 in the country and has maybe ~30K people with a half-filled stadium.

People make too big of a deal about crowds these days. Hardly anyone these days constantly packs their stadiums full anymore outside of a major game here and there. Even teams like Ohio State have failed to keep their stadium packed this year. Teams like Tennessee and others in the SEC that have been good at it in the past haven't been filling theirs either all season.

People make too big of a deal about crowds these days. Hardly anyone these days constantly packs their stadiums full anymore outside of a major game here and there. Even teams like Ohio State have failed to keep their stadium packed this year. Teams like Tennessee and others in the SEC that have been good at it in the past haven't been filling theirs either all season.

I'd expect a top-15 ranked team to be fill their stadium though. Especially a surprise team like Wake.

Its "billed" as sold-out but maybe people dont want to sit in a cold, rainy, 50-degree game.

It's a WF vs Dook game, thought. Terrible weather, WF isn't an athletics school, the rivalry is a joke. Sure WF is having a good year, but 2 good months of football isn't going to change their student base into rabid football fans.

If a top 10 team was coming to town then you might see them fill their stadium, but I wouldn't expect it for a day like today against a team like Dook.

Nobody is filling their stadiums anymore outside of premier matchups.

If a top 10 team was coming to town then you might see them fill their stadium, but I wouldn't expect it for a day like today against a team like Dook.

I remember going to a Thursday nite game in October in 2007 when Wake was ranked 19 vs FSU at #24...stadium was PACKED.

But you're right. Wake is known locally to have "fine dining" older fans...opponent is a bid part of it.

I remember those days in Athens. It was painful to watch all the missed tackles by his defenses.

Florida with back to back turnovers and it’s not looking good in Jacksonville.

And quickly, this game goes from 3-0 to 17-0.

With about 2:30 left in the the half, Florida was 1 first down from getting into the half down just 3.

1 minute of game time later, they are down 17

The DB running out of the end zone was one of the most stupid plays I’ve seen in a while…made all the difference.

I don’t think you can end a half any worse than Florida just did.

Pick six and now it’s 24-0. It was 3-0 with a little over two minutes left.
