Hugh Freeze is talking somewhat delusional these days. He needs to remember that every thought doesn't have to become a spoken word.
Auburn is stuck in a complex like no other. They are the angry little brother to Alabama. The funny thing about little brothers is they will always be little brothers, no matter the money, noise, nonsense, or commotion they make. They hold on to things like the Kick-6 that happened years ago while praying quietly that they will not be recognized in the miserable state they have gotten themselves into with their board of regents or trustees.
I hate it for them because the campus is so beautiful, the stadium is more welcoming than Bryant Denny is in my eyes, and the family atmosphere has always been fun when I have been there. It is a shame that the board, whoever they are, cannot find or decide on someone to lead the team long-term.
