Just go back to 10-team, regional-based conferences. Play nine conference games so you play everyone in your conference and eliminate the conference championship games.

Yea, this Miami defense is absolute garbage. #1 offense in the country is paired with what might actually be the worst defense in the P4.

Love the narrative that Miami gets all the calls still exists when they constantly get phantom calls like that hold routinely each and every game.

Quite a turn of events for Miami to force a turnover when Syracuse was driving, then Miami drives and coughes it up for a scoop and score. 35-7 run for Syracuse

Super scary moment in the Arkansa/Missouri game.

Arkansas defender Landon Jackson went in for a tackle and stayed down. The hit didn't look bad even on replay, must have gotten him in just the right spot though. He's been down for over 10 minutes while they get him prepped for the stretcher.

Report is that he's talking and able to move his extremities. That is encouraging. It looked incredibly serious when they were attending to him.

Have the imagine the craziness that would occur if Miami loses and Clemson beats SMU in the ACC game. Have to imagine Miami might be safe and SMU falls out. But, that could mean Boise State possibly having a #3 seed and a Big 12 team having a #4 seed.

ESPN says 40% for Miami still but I think that's likely generous.

The defense being historically bad will be unforgettable after this season. Potentially wasted a historic offense and Heisman-worthy QB.

If teams like Alabama and Ohio State can still have shots at making the playoffs, Miami should be able to get in still, but we all know that's not going to be the case. They will make up whatever logic they need to to keep the ACC spots to a minimum while maximizing the SEC and B1G spots.

There's zero argument for a team like Bama to get in over Miami in this format, not after losing to teams like Vanderbilt and OU, but I will be absolutely shocked if they leave Bama out.
