Re: NCAA Football 09 Reader Requested Beta Screenshots: Day 3
Wow EA..good to see you think so highly of my Tigers yet again. [/sarcasm]
That O line is atrocious. Good thing that the real Auburn offensive line isn't as horrid as that virtual bunch they've got for us or we wouldn't be able to gain a yard.
Edit: Yup, just grapped my Lindy's mag and they actually had AU's O line rated as the second best group in the SEC behind LSU. I'm not expecting 95s across the board, but geez....
79,79, 81,81,86? Really EA? All 5 starters back from last year? Really EA?
Even funnier...our center, Jason Bosley, DROPPED from an 82 in NCAA 08 to an 81 in NCAA 09. Blackmon dropped from a 93 to an 85. Aiaron Savage at Free Safety dropped from an 84 to an 83.
I guess all these guys dropped due to old age?
Once again...F*** You EA Ratings Guys!!!!
And once again..thanks a million for the pics Steve-O.Last edited by AuburnAlumni; 05-25-2008, 03:23 AM.AUBURN TIGERS

Re: NCAA Football 09 Reader Requested Beta Screenshots: Day 3
Anyway, I have noticed a refreshing drop in the ridiculous speed of some of the WR corps from previous versions. Even the "A" list teams seem to be hovering between the 88-92 speed at WR. That's a good thing. I like to see more separation between your average "Fast" WR and the truly blazing WRs.AUBURN TIGERS

Re: NCAA Football 09 Reader Requested Beta Screenshots: Day 3
Thanks again Steve for being thoughtful enough to post these pics for us. I had a request from the day 2 thread that wasn't answered. I'm sure you just didnt see it. i was wanting to see some ratings pics for the Arkansas razorbacks. maybe some of the freshmen but I'll gladly take whatever you can give me. haha Thanks. Auburn is vastly underrated in this game. Tray Blackmon falling to 85OVR was a shock but seeing their O-line that low is even a bigger shock. FSU's WR's look to be sick in this game. Wonder which seminole team they've been watching hahaComment

Thanks, Steve.
It looks like EA still has Keenum and backup qb Blake Joseph's equipment backwards (Keenum wears a Schutt, Joseph wears a Revo, and neither wears any sweatbands or qb wristbands).Comment

Uuuuhhh...He's posted around 876699837 screenshots in the last 2 days. You may want to give it a rest and cut Steve some slack.

I'm not going into the whole story here, but he's know why I'd be disappointed. And there is a major difference between disappointed and mad I might add. At any rate the issue will be fixed I'm sure so it is a non-issue to me.
Just wanted to clear that up before the flaming "lay off" crap can start in full. I'm very thankful he's willing to post the pics we've seen so far.
You're a great poster so we'll just have to agree to have had a misunderstanding here. That's that.Check out my updated 2017 blog on building a high school football video game:

Thanks for the pics. Maybe that will hold me off until July. haha
It looks like our uni's are right for the most part. The shoulder stripes are right for the red jerseys, but the white and blues still have the old ones that wrap all the way around judging by the screens.
Roster-wise, EA has taken some shortcuts, but I don't think its too serious of a problem. Cordera Eason, HB #25 was previously listed at 6'1" 235 as he was last year. Well, his height was wrong because he's now 5'11 224. He trimmed up some but he has been listed at 6'1 since he was a recruit, which was wrong. No big deal, I'll fix it anyway.
The also have the #'s of some QB's that were just walk-ons in the spring. I doubt they'll be scholarship players, so I hope the class edit is available.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 09 Reader Requested Beta Screenshots: Day 3
Am I the only one that noticed that on the Southern Miss stadium pics, the crowd is has their backs to the field?
Maybe something entertaining was going on in the parking lot or just outside the stadiumI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: NCAA Football 09 Reader Requested Beta Screenshots: Day 3
It was like that last year too cause I noticed it everytime I fired up the game. Thanks Steve for getting that one up for me before going to bed. No stadium expansion this year, but I didn't expect it since it wasn't ready before they started development of the game. Maybe next year. I'm just glad I'm not stuck with a generic so I'm not going to complain too much about that.
I'm hoping that the black tops and gold bottoms made it in the game. That is our default uniforms and they weren't there last year. The screenshot I got was of black top/black bottom so now I'm worried they left them out again. That for me is a much, much bigger deal. I hate when EA doesn't do its research. The all black is the alternate, not the default. I don't know. I'll request that one again later to confirm or deny if the real default uniform is in the game. Hoping it was just a misunderstanding of which uniform I wanted to see but got that sinking feeling we were left out of the "alternates" added so FSU can have 12.
I don't have a problem with teams have multiples, that sorry to FSU fans if that sounds like a shot at you guys, but before they start adding a few rarely used uniforms, maybe they should get the actual defaults in first. Now I'm off on a rant when I don't even know for a fact the uniforms I want aren't in the game. I'll shut up now.
Great to finally see Ole Miss' red in the game. I'm at least pumped about that.Check out my updated 2017 blog on building a high school football video game:

I am so pumped the all-black Rutgers uni's are in the game. Those look fantastic!
*Quick question. Is the other revolution in the game? Its the running back one. I believe Jamaal Charles from Texas wore it?MR PRIMETIMEComment

D'oh! I really wanted to know what Oklahoma Freshman WR from NJ was that PeteyKirsh asked. He's around 6'6" I just want a rundown of his attributes. Hopefully tomorrow.PSN: E1GHTY_PR00F
