sad truth is all of the things we are asking for as far as presentation, d-line play, and a real football gameplay without 10 turnovers a game were created years ago with NFL 2k5. OMT maybe you can tell me why you guys are so far behind in those categories?

I am not going to pick this one a part this year - Bottom line for me, suprisingly enuff - is to skip NCAA 09 this year and wait for Madden 09. It seems for the first time in a long time, Madden has alot more going for it than NCAA does this year 'round. I suppose next year will be the year for NCAA. It should get all of the bastardized features from Madden this year and a few others. All I want is a good game of football at this point, don't care if it's NCAA or NFL at this point or not. Just my sole opinion.Truly Blessed -Comment

I agree with you. If you get a good group of guys, on-line dynasty should be a blast for NCAA."Hard work beats talent, when talent isn't working hard.”Comment

I really really want to buy this years games, BOTH of them, but I've decided to hold off on NCAA for at least a week after release, and hope that some of you guys here at OS will give me some feedback about the CPU Turnover issue. You guys saved me some $$$ last year, which was both good and bad.. Good, because, well, the games were two of the worst games I have ever played.. Bad, because, I went an entire year without a football title. Now, I'm buying Madden for sure, even though Madden is my biggest concern, when it comes to the turn over issue. Because I have to have at least one game this time around.
I'm hoping for all good feedback, and the opportunity to rush right out and pick up the game... but I expect to see threads, and the slider forum fill up once again with people trying to find decent CPU game play.
Wasting $60 is better than wasting $120, though.Comment

Don't think this has been mentioned, haven't read all 94 pages either though, but after scrambling with the quaterback on a pass play when i juke he pump fakes, anyone else notcied this? Really hope this is a demo glitch because that would really be bad if it was in the retail game.Comment

I really have enjoyed the demo so far. I have played about three games and watched another one played. There is something about running in open space in this game that I think they have nailed, it actually feels different than everything else. I am really looking forward to the release.
On a glitch note:
After an onside kick, no matter what happens on the drive, when it shows a drive summary it says, plays 0, yards 0, time 0. Anyone else noticed this? I tried several onside kicks just to see what would happen and it happened on all of them.
Has anyone gotten to use the ice the kicker yet? What is it like?DSM Transfer.

After playing the demo quite a bit I am just the only thing I can think to say is, " Is this it??"
I sure hope EA does not put this on the shelves and try and sell us on the fact this is a solid sim college football game. Don't get me wrong, it is not bad, but it is a long shot when it comes to football. Everything from the redundant solo tackles to the game speed is not up to par. Even the booth review is wayyyyy off the mark and out of sync with what is going on, on the field. Please stop the wining excuse it is on varsity. Varsity has nothing to do with the animation and over gameplay. Let alone Corso's terrible riff on the game.
Are uniforms going to get dirty and the field torn up in the final build?Comment

I assume you missed all the posts in this thread talking about how the demo is an outdated build and the retail version is much improved?Comment
